We come here regularly for more than 8 years. It's better and better. My most favorite Shrimp Fra Diavolo always the best here. Chef owner Michael always greets us with smile. Excellent services, nice musics with cozy atmosphere.

Food came out hot & in a timely manner; I ordered the Stromboli, highly recommend. Patty was our waitress, she did an amazing job & was very attentive. Good atmosphere, I left humming "that's amore"

The croissant style rolls ARE reason enough to eat here! Also love the cannelloni with Alfredo sauce, easy to drink cupcake moscato, and the cheese ravioli is also great! But oh, the rolls! I used to eat here frequently for lunch many years ago and have recently been in the area on a weekly basis in the evenings. The food, attentive service, and the arrangement of the booths in the center away from the windows is a great, more open arrangement. Highly recommend for dining local for good Italian food. Will definitely be back!

My wife and I were in the mood for pasta and wanted to try a new place, so we looked up Italian food around us and this place popped up. Inside is a clean atmosphere. It's family friendly atmosphere for sure and definitely come as you are. Looks like there's a bar area if you want to go there and watch sports. Quick rundown: food tastes good enough, just a little inconsistent on the appearance of the dishes. Folks friendly enough. We are suckers for sampler platters. We picked the calamari, stuffed mushrooms and chicken wings. All pretty good. I thought the calamari was lightly fried, perfect for me. The wings were good and spicy, not too messy either. Stuffed mushrooms, meh....two out of three ain't bad. $12.95 for that dish probably fine. I might have tried to meatballs instead next time. My wife ordered the chicken scarpariello ($18.95). Penne pasta, Italian sausage, garlic, chicken and a homemade brown sauce was the description. Flavors were there and I thought it a good dish. This comes with salad, rolls and pasta (the penne) at that price. I ordered the veal Siciliana. I was drawn to the artichokes, mushrooms and veal. Sherry sauce and lemon butter came out real dreary color which I think took away a little of the zeal from my dish. This meal costs $16.95 but nothing else comes with it. House salad with this meal is $3.50 extra so for future reference your best bet is to find one of the meals that comes with the bread and salad as it will save a couple bucks. The side order of Italian sausage was $4.95 and came out in a bowl of tomato sauce. Nice and tender. My wife also had a Bud Lite for $4.75. The bill came out to $64 altogether and no reason not to leave our standard 20% tip. Overall, this place has the basics down. I just didn't experience anything that will make me want to rush out there again. But if I'm close by and hungry happy to have a bite here.

The Sicilian, bread, olio, and salata.

Culinary Mastery in Flower Mound: A Transcendental Pizza Experience…read more It is a rare occurrence to encounter a dining establishment that treats the humble canvas of dough, sauce, and cheese with the reverence of a fine art gallery. Yet, tucked away in a pristine, modern shopping enclave in Flower Mound, **Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza** is doing exactly that. As a connoisseur who has traversed the country in pursuit of the perfect pie, I can say with unequivocal authority: this is not merely a meal; it is a masterclass in culinary composition. The Atmosphere of Excellence From the moment you cross the threshold, the experience is curated with precision. The environment feels fresh, intentional, and inviting. However, the true heartbeat of the restaurant is the service. In an era where genuine hospitality is increasingly elusive, our server, Claudia, operated at a level of executive-tier care. Her ability to balance professional attentiveness with a warm, family-oriented touch, even proactively engaging our four-year-old with a dough ball, was a masterstroke of guest relations. The floor management followed suit, providing not just oversight, but narrative depth, sharing the remarkable history of the founder's O1 Visa, a rare, prestigious designation reserved for individuals of "extraordinary ability." It is fitting, then, that the kitchen produces work of such caliber. The Gastronomic Journey The prologue to our meal, a Caprese salad paired with house-grade bread, oil, and balsamic, set a high bar for quality. The tomatoes and mozzarella were remarkably vibrant, possessing that elusive, sun-ripened depth that screams farm-to-table integrity. Then, the protagonists arrived: The Elisa: A triumph of balance. The interplay of ricotta and mozzarella provides a lush, creamy foundation, while the white truffle oil elevates the profile without overwhelming the palate. The addition of honey and black pepper creates a complex, symphonic finish that keeps the taste buds yearning for the next bite. It is, quite simply, an exercise in culinary restraint and harmony. The Star Beckham: A visual and structural feat, the star-shaped crust, filled to the brim with ricotta and bacon, is an architectural marvel. Removing the red onions allowed the savory depth of the bacon and the brightness of the basil and ranch to coalesce into a flavor profile that feels both innovative and deeply satisfying. The Traditional Pepperoni: Even the most basic offering was executed with technical perfection. When a four-year-old, the most honest of all food critics, declares it the best pizza they have ever consumed, you know the foundation of the dough and sauce is impeccable. We were further impressed by the beverage program, specifically the Mastri Birrai Umbri Blonde Ale. Its crisp, clean finish was the perfect accompaniment to the richness of the cheeses, proving that the beverage curation is just as thoughtful as the menu design. The Final Verdict We left Flower Mound with empty boxes and full hearts, the memory of the meal serving as the primary topic of conversation for the entire duration of our road trip back to El Paso. A "great" pizza can be found in many corners of Texas, but an *extraordinary* pizza is a distinct privilege. Mister O1 does not simply feed you; they transport you. My only professional grievance is the significant distance between El Paso and Flower Mound. If you find yourself anywhere near the North Texas area, treat this as a mandatory pilgrimage. It is, without reservation, a must-visit destination for anyone who treats pizza as a serious culinary art form.

Atmosphere: Bright and open in a strip mall with some outdoor seating. Nice table settings. 1 Star…read more Service: Fantastic. Our waiter explained the history of the shop as well as the menu. He never made us wait for anything and was very polite. 2 Stars Food: We ordered (essentially) 4 pizzas and a Caprese salad. The Caprese was fantastic. The high quality EVOO that was served with it was very fruity and delectable. We had the classic pepperoni pizza, a 1/2- 1/2 Federico and Meat Lovers 2.0, and a Maria. All three were very good. I like a little more sauce on mine with a bit more "tang" to it, but it was still good. Crust on all were that perfect crispy that would hold up to just holding it from the end crust. 1.5 Stars Overall: Good pizza, and next time we will try the "Extraordinary" pizzas which have ricotta stuffed in them. 4.5 Stars

This was the next closest non chain pizza place we could find so we decided to give it a try and we were SO glad we did. We sat at the bar. The bartender (I think his name was Brad) was friendly and personable and made some fabulous menu suggestions. We started with the potato chip chicken strips. They were fantastic. The seasoning in the batter was spot on, and they were piping hot and perfectly crispy. I ordered the Maurice salad, something I had never heard of. It was a very busy salad, lots of different flavors going on, but I am here to tell you it was one of the best salads I have ever had in my life. I am already trying to figure out when I can go back and order it again. Hubs got pizza, half Texas sweet heat and half mobster. Definitely one of the best pizzas we've ever had, you could tell they use top notch ingredients. It's rare we have such a great experience entirely "by accident". We can't wait to go back!
