For a cozy Italian dinner, come visit the good people at D'Nonna! The food is so good and the service is very warm and friendly! We've been here several times and always enjoyed the experience!

We took our grand to the kids pizza making and it was so fun! Chef Carlos was friendly, patient and fun as he interacted with the kids. I highly recommend!

We returned and had great service with Rico. We had the Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Murphy, and Eddie's Nápolis Special. We finished with dessert D'Nonna Soecial. We will definitely come back again.

Wow!!! We absolutely loved this place! Was looking for authentic Italian and we absolutely found it! from the really cool Italian style setting to the family that runs the place... we loved it! The complementary bread basket was very welcome and home baked bread is hard to beat! And then there was the seafood ravioli. Scratch made pasta stuffed with lobster in a delicate balance of vodka sauce. Can't wait to go back! Can't forget to mention, they do a very generous pour of wine and for that I say thank you

Didn't really love the food or service at this restaurant. Ordered an old fashioned with Blanton's, and the server had no idea what I was talking about. I had to go to the bar and point out the bottle. The old fashioned was Blanton's on a rock with a maraschino cherry. Lol! The beet salad was ok, but the dressing was way too sour. It needed something sweet. I ordered the mussels, and got sick after I got home. I don't recommend them.

Love this place! Rose was delightful! 5 dollar bottle beer and 8 dollar rye whiskey shots! Atmosphere is cool! Staff is friendly and attentive! Awesome Downtown Lewisville Texas hidden gem! Did not eat but will definitely return to try based on the menu and reviews! Affordable and clean! I will return and recommend you give it a go!

I loveeee this joint! The ambiance is everything! So elegant and inviting. I love the location and its outdoor patio- even though it was chilly at first I enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the fresh air. Our waiter was awesome and our food was super enjoyable. My friend and I had a great lunch! It wasn't too crowded when we went and we loved it! 20/10 recommend! This would be great for bday parties.

I came to this place because it had good reviews and looked nice, but honestly, the food was awful a complete waste of money. I went about an hour ago and now I'm dealing with terrible stomach pain. First of all, I've never seen a carbonara made with onions totally irrelevant to the dish. They didn't even use pancetta, just basic bacon, and the sauce wasn't carbonara at all. It tasted more like a bland Alfredo with bacon completely flavorless. I also ordered the D'Nonna Seafood Pasta, which looked great in the photos but was incredibly disappointing. It came with only three shrimp and empty clam shells literally just the shells, nothing inside. Now I'm wondering if something was off with the seafood, because the stomach pain I'm experiencing is severe and not normal. Really hoping this doesn't turn into something worse. Be careful if you're considering eating here the food looks good online, but the reality was very different.

We stopped in to have dinner after soccer and were pleasantly surprised. D'Nonna is a true Italian gem. The cozy ambiance and great service set the stage for a delicious dining experience. Highlights include mouthwatering truffle pizza, charcuterie board, and seafood pasta. Don't miss the homemade tiramisu for dessert. If you're looking for authentic flavors and a charming atmosphere, this is a must try.

We had an 11:00 AM reservation and noticed plenty of open tables and booths (though I'd still recommend booking ahead just in case!). The food was incredible: Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast: I wasn't even hungry when I arrived, but one bite of this sweet masterpiece changed everything. Highly recommend! Croque Madame: My friend ordered this and loved every last bite. Kids' Flatbread Pizza: Smelled amazing the second it hit the table--super garlicky! Her daughter devoured it, and after trying a bite, I'm already eager to come back and try their other flatbreads. Our server was fantastic--attentive, friendly, and fast with both drinks and food. I'm already planning my next visit with my husband. I know he's going to love it as much as I did!

First, I'd like to start with the positives. Our party of six arrived shortly after opening, so the…read morerestaurant was not overly busy. I had notified the restaurant in advance that we were celebrating three birthdays. The food was somewhat mixed. The Chicken Alfredo lacked seasoning and was underwhelming, while other dishes, including the meatballs and chicken parmesan, were satisfactory. I personally ordered a pizza, and it was excellent. It was easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the service significantly impacted our overall experience and is the primary reason for my low rating. Our server, Casey, was not attentive or welcoming throughout the visit. One member of our party requested a simple modification to his order while she was still taking orders, but her response came across as irritated and unprofessional. Throughout the meal, she never checked on our table to ask how the food was or whether we needed anything. Despite being informed of the birthdays in our group and being told by management that complimentary birthday desserts were available, these were never offered. The most disappointing interaction occurred when I requested a refill after my drink had been empty for quite some time. Rather than acknowledging the request or apologizing for the delay, she appeared visibly annoyed and rolled her eyes. When she returned with the refill, she handed it across another guest instead of bringing it directly to me and immediately walked away without saying a word. Additionally, the automatic gratuity was not disclosed until the end of the meal. While I understand restaurants may have gratuity policies, communicating them upfront helps avoid misunderstandings. Overall, while some of the food was enjoyable, the lack of customer service and professionalism left a lasting negative impression. Service plays a significant role in the dining experience, and unfortunately, this experience did not meet expectations. Based on this visit, our group is unlikely to return.

I know my husband and I were a little disappointed at first that there was a set menu, but we decided to stay and begin our night. First of all, the ambiance of the place was great, even though they had extra tables set up for the night, and it was tight. It was still intimate, and such a good atmosphere. Our server was Nicki or Nikki. I apologize if I spelled it incorrectly. She is an amazing server. She was helpful with decision-making, patient, and just very attentive. The food, even though it was a set menu for the evening, had good options, and everything we chose was delicious and flavorful! We are definitely coming back because I've only been asking to come here for the last 6 months, and now that my husband has found everything here delicious, we will be back soon.

We had no idea it would take an hour and a half for our food to show up. And when it did well, here's how it went. My wife had the chicken piccata and I had the wise guy pizza. My wife enjoyed her plate. Based on the last time I ordered the same pizza a year ago what showed up on the table was a sad echo of something that used to be good. The sauce was very thin and to the point of almost being nonexistent. The meatballs were very stingy as if they were trying to increase their margins by short serving a basic pizza. Overall, it was very dry and lacking of any discernible taste. No doubt because it sat in the kitchen for quite awhile, given the unusual duration that it took for our food to show up. I've had better frozen pizzas from the grocery store. It was a very dry and disappointing for something that used to be overloaded with flavor, sauce and meatball chunks. It was a marked contrast from when we had been here a year ago. What used to be a regular go to has turned into a sad disappointment. I'm putting it down to perhaps they had an off night. But we're not in a hurry to come back anytime soon to see if that was the case.

The portions are generous--I brought home half my meal, and it tasted just as good the next day. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars was that the restaurant was uncomfortably warm on the Friday evening we visited. In the Texas heat, the last thing you want is to be sweating through dinner. Then they had a BUNCH of ceiling fans turned on blowing the semi warm air around and it just wasn't a pleasant atmosphere with all the air blowing around and making all the different food smells get mixed up while you're trying to enjoy your dish. But moving on to the most important thing in a restaurant.. the food .. We ordered the FILET OSCAR for $48 which was a 10oz Filet Mignon, Crab Cake, Hollandaise Sauce, Asparagus and Whipped Potatoes. The steak was very overcooked. The asparagus was also overcooked somehow. The crab cake was deep fried and so so so oily and dry at the same time while being drenched in whatever sauce it was covered in. The whipped potatoes were pretty good but at this point the entire dish was so bad that there was nothing to accompany the whipped potatoes. The server was very nice and the food came out fairly fast but unfortunately it just didn't taste good. Has anyone else ever seen a deepfried crabcake at an upscale restaurant? Or I guess any restaurant for that matter? It was just a very distasteful way to present a dish that should have taken more TLC to prepare rather than just to bread and throw in a fryer like that. Sad day for us as this was on our date night list of local places to try out. We did flag down the manager to give him some live feedback. Hopefully he will try to make things a little better for other customers.
