I order a pizza today (1/4/23) @ 607pm and received it 730pm just barely lukewarm. I had to heat it up just for it to edible. The worst part is this place is literally only 3 to 4 mins down the street from where it was delivered. I pre-paid with my card and added a tip. I wont ever eat from this place again. Stay away...Officially will not go back. I got a pickup order and when I got home realized the pizza that should have been a deep dish wasn't! Called them and they thought I was coming back...don't think so. So an hour later got the corrected cold pizza delivered. Good thing I wasn't starving. This is one of my favorite pizza restaurants. I've ordered from here several times and have never had a problem with a delivery. I ordered two personal pizzas tonight online@6:46pm it should have been delivered@ 7:46.I didn't get it til 9 pm. I called and was told they were short on drivers. It should not take two hours for a delivery, in that two hours I could have made my own pizza.The person I talked to could have cared less Benito's in Rockwood has lost my business. Over the past four weekends I ordered a Big Benito each weekend. The first pizza came nearly burnt, covered in garlic butter and parmesan (did not order flavored crust) I assume they were to cover up the blackened parts and cost $24.88. The second weeks pizza came and was okay but it cost $25.94. The third weeks pizza tasted as if the cheese had gone old and the sauce was very watery/runny and this pizza cost $27.44 ($1.50 more than week two and $2.56 more than week one) The fourth weeks pizza was the worst, again it was burnt but this time without any flavored crust, but there was barely any sauce on the pizza. I decided to pick the pizza up yet the price was $26.94 this time around. The lady that rung me out was quite rude and didn't give me the correct change. I've had Benito's since I was a kid and it's sad but I can't bring myself to order from them again. The quality and taste has gone way downhill and it seems they make up their prices out of thin air. I ordered went to pick it up and when I walked inside the place I changed my mind about eating the pizza. The door was propped open flies and bees in the windows and inside the light covers!!!! this place use to have great pizza...but now it's horrible!! crust over done, bottom of pizza burnt and on their bread....so sad
