His prices for parts were a bit on the high side, so my bill was slightly higher than anticipated because we needed lots of, yes... parts. However, he came the next morning at 8:00 a.m. Is very professional, and courteous and I felt comfortable with him. He also did an excellent job and left the space clean. I'll pay extra for that. And next time, maybe I won't need parts, ha! Truly--highly recommend.

Honestly the work is good...as it should be from a master plumber…read more The issue I have is the issue I've had with literally every plumber ever. They've got you over a barrel when they come out and start throwing parts. This was an install of a drop in kitchen sink and faucet. He told me his hourly rate was 135 bucks. I was expecting to spend about 400 maybe 500. The final bill was 850. I feel I was overcharged on both the parts and labor. He charged me starting 45 min before he got there but still included a "truck charge." The removal and replace of the sink took 2 hours. To me the "clock" starts on the labor at the agreed upon arrival time. When I'm getting charged 439(!) bucks for parts on top of the sink and faucet itself, that extra charge for labor is quite unwelcome. I mean the sink and faucet itself that were "nice" were like 500 bucks. So almost that again just in parts. ‍ His answer in general as I look at these reviews is that he buys his parts from a plumber supply not Home Depot etc. I would have to research each individual part to see if its price point is "fair". A perusal of solid brass fittings and pvc p traps on the Lowe's site shows the price I paid was about doubled. He acted quite insulted that I wouldn't know just how much better his parts were and implied they were all but unavailable at big box stores. literally doubling what I expected to pay was quite a shock to say the least. It is what it is. If I was able to do it myself, I would've. Live and learn Learn a trade kids lol

Exceptional O & Plumbing Service Experience…read more I highly recommend O & M Plumbing for any plumbing needs. In particular, Chris F. has consistently demonstrated exceptional skill and professionalism on every project of mine. His attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship set him apart as a truly outstanding plumber. Project Background I recently purchased an older home, full of charm and distinctive bathrooms. However, I encountered a leak in the master shower that required the p-trap under the shower drain to be replaced before new tile work could be completed. My concern was that reconnecting the new p-trap to the antique cast iron drains in the foundation might cause the cast iron to crumble. Chris F.'s Approach and Solutions Chris came to the rescue, using a camera down the drain to evaluate the situation. He explained the difference between what was probable and what was possible, providing two bids: one for the probable good case and one for the possible problem case. Having used Chris before with excellent results, I trusted his methods, which are always the least intrusive and focused on effective access. In the worst-case scenario, Chris would need to cut and excavate a 2' x 2' hole in the foundation around the shower drain, then tunnel no more than five feet under the foundation from that access point to secure a solid connection to the iron drainpipe. In the best-case scenario, he would only need to excavate a 2' x 2' hole around the shower drain to replace and secure the new p-trap. He also showed me pictures of his past work for reassurance. Successful Outcome Fortunately, the best-case and probable case prevailed. While fixing the p-trap, Chris also discovered an unrelated drain leak under the foundation, which he repaired at no extra charge. I felt I received excellent value for the service provided. Professionalism and Work Quality Chris left the work site clean, as he has always done in the past. He and his co-worker collaborated well, using a small and quiet jackhammer designed specifically for plumbing foundation work. The new drain looks beautiful, and I can confidently proceed with the new tile work, knowing that the unseen part of the shower is sound and affordable. Appreciation Thanks to O & M Plumbing for introducing me to Chris F. and Mike. Both are good and considerate professionals, and I am grateful to have them working in my home.

I had several plumbing issues--some…read morelarger projects like repairing a broken sewer discharge clean-out, fixing no hot water from my tankless water heater, flushing the water heater, and installing a pressure-reducing valve, as well as smaller tasks like reinstalling the kitchen sink sprayer hose and replacing two shower heads. Matthew was very prompt in replying, set clear expectations, and communicated quickly whenever there were changes. He also looked for ways to reduce my costs. For example, I originally requested only a water heater flush. After Zach inspected it and provided a quote, the heater suddenly stopped producing hot water and I didn't have the budget to fix it. Matthew suggested dedicating one hour to diagnose the issue first. Zach worked on it but suspected the problem was due to the heater not being flushed for a long time. They proceeded with the flush and only charged me the original quote--waiving the diagnostic fee. Another example was the sewer discharge repair. Few plumbers are experienced with this, and many either declined or quoted very high prices before even assessing the problem. Matthew and Zach offered to charge only for digging out the discharge clean-out and then provide a repair estimate. This approach resulted in a very reasonable quote. On top of that, they reinstalled my sink sprayer hose and replaced the shower heads free of charge. Throughout the process, Zach was thorough and even taught me how to handle smaller plumbing tasks myself, like replacing bathtub stoppers and flushing the water heater in the future. Both Matthew and Zach were honest, considerate, and truly helped me save money. I will definitely call them again for any plumbing needs.

I went with them because Jason wasn't trying to upsell me anything, he didn't resort to bagging on the other companies to win my business, and one of the other plumbers who was doing that actually confirmed that the parts Jason picked out were top quality as I wanted. Now, I stayed with them because Jason did a good job, was quick with service, had great communication, and I appreciated and respected that he brought his young adult sons to learn the trade with him. They were super respectful, hard working, and most importantly, learning great lessons from Dad. My son is in a trade field and has stayed busy out of trouble as a result, so good for them. Services performed (so far- just moved in 4 AUG and needed a lot done): *water heater replacement (Jason did tell me I could have just replaced the elements to get the better hot water I wanted, but I wanted it to last longer and went with a new system) *garbage disposal replacement *bathtub faucet replacements *added a port to my hvac system in the closet for me to flush it with vinegar *snaked and later dug up a bunch of broken areas of pipe with large roots in them and replaced them
