When I arrived, the station already had two cars inside that were currently being worked on. Victor SR. Was the first to say hello, he was so hospitable and had a great sense of humor. He told me he was wrapping up and would get to me in a jiffy. He did not kid about that! His son, Victor JR, did my service. As well mannered and courteous as his father. Came here for a used tire found what I needed everything seem to be good. The gentlemen helping me didn't give me his name he just kept saying victor is the owner and I was asking for a manager. Ok so I bring my brand new car for a tire change. Now before I start the story. The day before I got a flat pulled into gas station had aaa change my tire put on a spare. I have such ocd I'm watching his every move cause of my rims. That part was fine put my rim and flat tire in the trunk. Headed to my normal tire shop and they don't have my size. Found Benjis Tires right by. I pull he does the tire for me and upon expecting my rim cause that's how I am. I notice scrapes and chunks missing. Now in the past I've seen what curb rash does to wheels rims. This was not the case not to mention my car is brand new and not a single mark on any of my other 3 rims specifically because I take care of my car and know when somethings damaged. I'm that guy. When I told him he denied it. Not to mention he didn't think I seen but the first tire didn't work out and he came and got another one I seen cause garage is so small I heard a lot of metal and loud noises which prompted me to think about my rim and check when he brings it back. And sure enough it's scratched and chipped. I will Include pictures when I explained to the guy that I'm not blaming him in simply saying I know my car and when something is wrong it stands out to me. They gave no resolution I was there for over 30 mins talking explains my situation and how I inspect my car when ever there is work and after my weekely car I ashes. Honestly I never really do the review thing but this place is amazing, as a woman trying to go to any mechanic is hard the always try and work you over but I've gone here many times for nails in my tires and I went today for brakes they did so amazing price was so good and they are super friendly great customer service. Came here with a flat and they had me out of there within 10 minutes. They were willing to patch my tire until they realized that the damage was within the sidewall. So they were able to provide me with a used tire for $25 + tax. The tire was of course somewhat worn/baldish, but I was just so grateful that they were able to provide a replacement that didn't cost me an arm and a leg. So Benjis tires is a small moms and pops tire repair shop in Canoga Park. Anytime you walk in you'll find the owner and his son and I have to say they are both extremely nice and honest people. Ive came to them multiple times & have found that not only are they very honest but they do anything possible to try and accommodate and help you. I've had situations where tire shops or mechanics take advantage at the fact that you're a woman or the fact that you're in an emergency situation and need to change a tire m, that they charge you a crazy amount to change your tire or just check your car out... you won't get that here. Benji's does not go out of the way for the customer. I had to go to Northridge Toyota to pick up brakes. Benji's installed them several months ago and now they are sometimes screeching. They are under warranty but the owner refuses to take brakes out and switch them at the dealership. How am I supposed to get my to the dealership on my own with no car? Honestly I've never trusted mechanics without having my dad by my side, recently moved to the area for school with my car meaning I have to be in charge of my car's maintenance, i took it to big ol tires just to check on my car and they tried to charge me $700 for my rear brakes to be replaced!
