Had a solid experience with this group when I bought 4 tires for my SUV. I made an appointment, my car was pulled in immediately when i got there, and it was done in the time they had quoted. I had an issue with the tires that were put on my car--they were the same brand, but a different model than what i had seen on the website. I then spoke with the owner, and we talked it over, he gave me more information about the tires they had installed, made it clear he wanted me to be happy, and ultimately showed me that the tires installed were more suitable to what I wanted for my car. WARNING: VEHICLE HELD HOSTAGE - LEGAL ACTION PENDING I had someone drop off my 2022 Tesla Model Y at Discount Tire & Service Centers - Canoga Park while I was out of state. The car was brought in for ONE tire replacement only. My contact information was on file, yet they never called me for approval. Instead, they installed FOUR new tires without my consent, claiming to have "authorization" from the person who dropped it off--someone with no legal connection to the vehicle, not listed on title, registration, or insurance. A week later, they demanded $760, threatened to place a mechanic's lien, and began charging $150/day in storage fees. This violates California Business & Professions Code §9884.9 (requires owner authorization before any repairs) and Civil Code §3068 (links only valid with authorized work). I have spoken with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR)--they confirmed this is illegal, and I've filed a formal complaint and retained legal counsel. I have photos proving: * The car was legally parked by the building for days with no obstruction, * They recently moved it to the front, removed two tires, and left it exposed--completely open to vandalism or theft. This is more than bad service; it's unlawful detention of my vehicle, unauthorized repairs, possible tampering, and substantial personal harm (I lost a car sale because of their actions). They earned a customer for life! The dealer told me that my brakes were almost all the way gone and that I was going to start wearing into the rotors soon. This was the second fishy thing the dealer told me so I just took my car back and decided to get them done cheaper someplace else. I took the car to Discount, fully prepared to replace the brake pads and their mechanic, Ocean, informed me that there was about 60% life left on the pads! I called discount tire center at CANOGA PARK and spoke to Mike. Over the phone told me a deal they have, buy two and get two for free. He quoted me the out the door price and was totally happy. I called the neighboring tire service area and they were $200 more. I drove up to discount tires and Mike was there waiting at the front door. He was very friendly and took my car in immediately. He even got two mechanics to work on my car. I was out the door less than one hour. Like Mike his son was very friendly as well. In fact the mechanics that worked on my car were also friendly. Mike at the entire team at Discount Tire Center really saved the day! I ran over something on my way to work and after work noticed that my tire was flat. I drive a car with no spare tire, and new tires are expeeeensive. (There is only one model of tire for my German car, because that is how life works.) Not only did they have this rare tire in stock, but were prepared to give me a fabulous deal in comparison to the nearby tire shops. And not only that, but they determined they could patch it. (I have 2 cars now in pic attache). lower prices- good Service & fast short notice repairs. Mike the Chief is always there. The same staff for decades. Backed by the National Franchise Discount Tire inc. I have sent a friend there once he is broke Mike told him pay me when you can. I have Authorized significant Repairs only to learn at pickup time my bill was lowered then the estimate because it was discovered the original repair estimate was not required work. If ever you need Tires they beat or match any price so far. I am writing this after so many years. Because I had a flat last week brought it to them. They did the patch fast and the normal $25 fee was waved because I am a "regular customer ". you should become a regular customer also Tell them Marcus Allen sent you maybe you can get it all done while you wait at the Hanery Restaurant next door , as I generally do. . October of 2024. My serpentine belt snapped & my tensioner pulley was squeaking, I had the vehicle towed to these guys and before we arrived the tow truck driver took a look at the damage and advised I get one of my pulleys replaced as well as he pointed out something was wrong with one of the pulleys. I arrive to Discount Tire center with my own serpentine belt in hand for the replacement job & let the mechanic know that the pulley also might need to be replaced and he should take a look at it so I can go grab one from the AutoZone down the street. The response was "yaaaa let's not listen to the tow truck driver" I respond with "ok you're the Mechanic". A week later my BRAND NEW serpentine belt had been shredded to pieces. I tow it back to get it looked at and what do you know the tensioner pulley needed to be replaced, has collapsed and has now shredded the belt I brought in for replacement. They then attempted to charge me for a new belt and the pulley after they were advised to take a look at it and refused to do so. Both get "fixed" & I come out of pocket for it, December 2024: I come back to get a diagnostics report on the vehicle just so I can know everything that might need to be repaired. I got charged over $200 just for someone to take a look at the vehicle, I ended up going to autozone and getting a free reader to find out everything that was wrong with the vehicle. About two to three weeks later I needed to replace my driver side mirror which I also brought in with me. I got estimated a two hours worth of work and $150 for the replacement. I ended up taking it home and replacing it my self in under 20 minutes. February of 2025. Five months later the pulley is squeaking AGAIN! I don't know what type of business is going here but I don't like it and wouldn't recommend this place anything past a tire change. read more

I got a coupon for for a low cost oil and filter and inspections from my car dealer. My car is pretty good. Does not burn oil. Inspection show when they started my oil was down. Like the previous oil exchange the guy who did it Well not all the oil that was supposed to go in. I love my lexus and to an extreme. I like work 100 %. Not the first time.
