Tom and the lady in the office treat me with great patience. I contacted them many times before I brought my RV in, sometimes I was shopping around , sometimes I just simply forgot our appointment. I maybe a careless customer. But they are definitely decent business. Tom did inspection on a rainy day. Even he said he won't do it. After learning about the emergence he still helped me out in a timely manner. He may not talk too much. But he is very practical and professional. He kept his words while I forgot mine. This is a combination RV supplies store and RV repair place, and the store is well stocked. Hours are M-F 8:30a-5:30p, and 9a-1p on Sat. As a newbie RV owner I know NOTHING (clue the Sgt. Shultz sound clip). I walked in with a few questions, talked to the owner, and she gave me some excellent advice and a pointer to a local RV mechanic. Janet spent 20 minutes with me, fully aware that I would not be buying anything on this (my first) trip. But I did walk around their store area, and I noted a number of things I will be needing. I will be back and this place will be my preferred supplier. Update: I've now been in there a half-dozen times purchasing fix-it parts. I've watched and overheard how well they treat their customers. I wish EVERY retail store treated their customers this way, the world would be a better place. read more

The RV repair industry is not user-friendly. Except for Benlo. You know, people today want to get diamond service for pennies. Benlo isn't the most expensive shop in the area by a long stretch, and yet they deliver incredible service. Janet is one of the most knowledgeable women in RV repair that I know. And the guys in the shop are the best. When we bought our 2015 Thor ACE we knew we didn't want to take it to the dealer for service, so I called Benlo before taking delivery to see if they'd be willing to work with Thor's warranty and then our extended warranty. They were more than willing to work with both. We've never, ever been disappointed with their work. Whenever I've been in their shop I've been warmly greeted and given the time needed to get the rig cared for. And I've also heard other customers whining about costs, thinking they should be getting service for next to nothing. Owning an RV is a luxury, and if one isn't able to afford the maintenance on them, they shouldn't have one. Thanks, Benlo, for hanging in there. Negative stars. Awful! If you have a coach newer than say 2000, avoid. When I pulled in in my 2013 Tiffin there wasn't another full body paint coach to be seen among 50 or so older white campers in a oldish yard. It might be ok (some good reviews). So, diamond in the rough, benefit of the doubt, book by it's cover etc. It was not ok. I needed stairs repaired, some hail damage to toppers repaired and scheduled maintenance. I made an appointment to leave the coach, which I made. The owner (who I spoke with and explained all I needed in detail) was not only not there, but informed no one about why I was coming. There was confusion. Ok, he'll call, "when he gets back to town", I was told. HE DIDN'T. I called him at which point he informed that he hadn't had a chance to look at it and would call me in a couple days with an estimate and time frame. HE DIDN'T. I called him exactly 1 week and a half later for an estimate and time frame, at which he claimed to have done an oil change and begun ordering parts. I asked if it was normal business for him to do this; not to call, 'AND' to begin work without issuing an estimate. He, replied sarcastically, "Well, I thought you brought it to get it fixed." The End Because I promptly went and got my coach. We are not rich or special. Other than our house, this coach is by far the most expensive thing we own, and we are very grateful for it and value it and the great travel experiences it is bringing us. However, I have no confidence that this man values our coach or me as a customer. This is as honest an account as I can provide. I felt no need to exaggerate or play up a single thing, as the experience speaks for itself. I'm sure some people do business this way. Just not me. read more

First timers today, although we just bought a little something for the rv, we were helped by Janet and she gave us time and space to browse around, and their friendly cat just followed us around, too cute with his little bell collar. We will return as they had pretty comparable prices as the Internet! Brought our Casita travel trailer here twice for warranty repairs. All work done well in a timely manner. Besides repairs, BENLO also has a well stocked store with things most RV'ers would need. Only CON is that the lot has a lot of small debris on the ground, which could lead to flat tires. A quick pass with a leaf blower would do the trick. read more

I've been here a few times now and I really like this place. I had recently traded my last tow vehicle and had called all over to find someone who would re-install it for me. No luck at all, until I called them. The set me up with an appointment and hade me come in with my old 5th wheel slider hitch. They were happy to re-use all of the old parts they could and they gave me a fair price. They even finished the job a half day sooner than promised. read more

I brought my rig in for repair because it had some minor damage that was caused by some debris on the freeway. I got the insurance claim going and approved, I contacted the company that I purchased the travel trailer from, GIANT RV MONTCLAIR, to get this damage repaired. After weeks of endless phone calls and emails, which they never responded to I gave up. A few days later I was traveling down Live Oak in Irwindale and I noticed Benlo RV. I called Benlo the first person I spoke to was Tom, we set up an appointment to have the rig inspected. He took note of all the parts needed and my estimate for my adjuster, I took the rig home he ordered the parts I returned it when the parts arrived, and that was the end of it a couple of days later my rig was just like New. No headaches, no run around, no BS. From now on for any parts or service benlo has my business. Thank you Tom and your staff. Those big companies should be ashamed of themselves! read more

Just like someone said below its more of a mom and pop type RV parts store. I usually purchase things through giant RV because of the selection and proximity/convenience of it being near me. Thought I'd take a chance and come to a smaller store and give my business to them. Definitely not worth it. Grabbed a floor vent cover and when I went to the register to see if they would be able to help me to see if it would fit my trailer they just looked at me for .01 seconds and said nope not unless your trailer is here. I will say the smart thing would've been to bring my vent cover with me and/or measure. And I actually did do that but after he didn't even look at me and just kind of blew me off I was over it. I could be wrong here but aren't they here to help people shopping in their store? I could be being a little harsh or maybe I'm just upset cause I only received .01 seconds of not so happy or helpful time from management. Sorry not sorry that I won't be driving 30 minutes out of my way to come here again. Off to giant RV ! read more

Complete integrity. Took my pop up because of bad tire wear. The next morning they called me back and said when they took the wheels off the only thing they saw was there was no camber. Mgr said the axle was just old and flexed out. Quoted me a fair price to replace. Told me it would take a week. Called me back a half hour later and said the axle was not a stock item and a new one had to be made. 2-3 weeks, but same price. I said ok, but put it back together I need for a weekend trip. When I called a few days later to see if I could pick up mgr told me they realized a plate on each spring had rotated 90 degrees. The rotated it back in position and the camber was fine. They then welded the plates to the springs so it would not happen again. No axle needed. I guarantee I never would have been dealt with so fairly at one of the McGiant RV corporate places. They exceeded my expectations, all staff members I came in contact with were polite and helpful. read more

My experience has been that anything related to RV's, including service and parts, this is the place to go. They will do their best to get your satisfaction for a fair price, and quickly. I have had them work on my RV trailers for the past 20 years, and have always had a great experience.
