One family pulled up around 10:30 with 3 cars, let their kids run wild, were loud and did not go home until after midnight. Daytime use is fine. If you want peace and quiet at night, go somewhere else.

Grounds were well kept. It's a small area overall but just what we needed for a quick weekend. The highway noise is pretty significant if that bothers you, can't do anything about it but just something to note if you want a certain experience. We were in a camper so it wasn't a huge problem. The owners were always around if we needed anything (they live nearby) and they brought over firewood on a golf cart that we bought from them, so that was handy. The river is a bit low and currently on the far bank, so we didn't do any activities there. Would return!

The swimming hole is a man-made spring fed lake. There's a couple diving boards (one is a high dive), a setup net for water volleyball, a BLOB and plenty of extra room for swimming. Plus I was told they are going to add a couple big slides for next year. Beautiful scenery and lots of places to get shade (with tables) for picnics or cooking out. Bathrooms are nice with a small shower (shower could use a little upgrade but it was suffice for its purpose). Friendly owners and staff. Overall great place to spend a summer afternoon. I highly recommend a trip for the family! Tips: bring life jackets if you plan to do the blob. You can not do it without one and they are not provided (although you can purchase one for around $15). Careful walking in the grassy areas...there are stickers. Camping is only aloud for RV's. Daily admission for swimming is $4.50 (free for two and under) and $2.50 to park. AND the park is dog friendly, which is a bonus for many.

Great stay! We have…read morestayed here a few times and this is my first review. This time, we stayed here 2 weeks. We're up front in pull-through site 44. Yes, the road noise is apparent. We didn't mind it as we stay inside the RV most of the time. The site itself was great. The sites are long, wide, have a grass yard and a concrete pad and patio. Power, water and sewer worked well. We only used their WiFi as backup as we're using a cell-based Internet solution and were connected to AT&T. I have several interactions with the office staff and all were quite favorable. We even asked to use the kitchen in the clubhouse and that was approved both times. Trish, the manager was always very pleasant and accommodating. Some other things we like: - They sell a 10# bag of ice for $2. We use a lot of ice, so that was nice. - They text us when a package arrives for us. - They sell propane onsite. - They have a pool and a hot tub and they just got done refinishing both and got them opened during our stay. - They have laundry rooms at 2 locations within the park. We used the larger one. - They have plans to add more amenities this year. We look forward to the next time we stay at Oak Creek RV Park.

We wouldn't stay here again. Decent for overnight, but we just had such a negative experience. The pool looked clean and the play structure was in good repairs.

I'd give 0 stars if I could, a trip to the Walmart parking lot would be a better time, visited this…read morejoke on April 18th, girl working the check in window was sweet but that's where it ended. Rv spot was filthy and definitely NOT cleaned prior to our arrival, space full of leaf piles, ants all around the Picknick table, empty beer Carton, framing nail on concrete parking pad, coat hanger and other trash, called office they sent a kid with a blower who did a 50/50 job cleaning up. This was on Friday late afternoon, on Saturday we were expecting to have a great time with out 3 grandkids considering the resort fees they charge on top of the rv site fees. We did have some rain so they canceled everything outdoors! FOR THE WHOLE DAY!! did they open up more activities in doors? Nope! Would they refund resort fees? Nope! It was rather ironic that ALL the extra pay activities that were not included in the resort fees were still open! We were told they have an indoor pool...nope! All pools closed! We ended up going to the activities barn where like I said everything was an Extra charge except the tiny mini golf room which was packed since everything else was closed, no organization in there so it was basically a disaster with at least 10 kids on every hole! They had a bounce house indoor with a sign that says maximum height 48" my grandkids are 4-6-8 so they were playing on it, a grumpy old man (employee) runs off my 50lb grand daughter for being 2" too tall. No exceptions even with all the outdoor activities closed. "Kid friendly?" Spent about $80 extra for the kids to make slime and paint a figurine. Later we decided to try out the Pirate's Cove Arcade. " that should be fun for kids" nope! Walked in and purchased a players card... loaded it with $$$ noticed a sign that says " no refunds" then noticed we WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMERS! 7:50 pm on a Saturday night in an arcade at a so called establishment for kids and nobody here! We soon figured out why.....most of the games were broken or turned off we walked around for about 10 minutes, I asked the kid playing on his phone by the door why all the games were broken he just looked up from his phone and shook his head as to say " who knows" then went back to his phone. We left went back to the rv and prepared to leave for the next morning. So disappointing, we were hoping for a fun trip for our grandchildren and this place turned out to be a wast of time and money. All in all we spent close to $450 for 1 1/2 days and 2 night in this place. We travel in our RV all over the country and this has to be the worst I hesitate to say "resort" so let's just say outdated, unkept over priced and obviously unprepared for inclement weather parking lot. When we first arrive at 4pm we were told by the front gate attendant that our cabin wasn't ready and they didn't know why. Come and check back in an hour to see if it's ready. After I found out our friends cabin wasn't cleaned, I went to the front office I wanted to see what was going on and if they had and they said "we don't know why you were told that your cabin is clean and ready." That's when the communication between the staff started breaking down. We knew coming into this vacation our cabins heater was broken but to our understanding it had only been broken for a week. Come to find out from a maintenance man that was a lie and it had been broken for 3 months. When I asked the manager why wasn't I made aware of this when I booked this cabin 3 months ago because my friends and I would have booked other cabins! The manager had no answer for this. Our first cabin had black mold under the sink and around the bottom of the shower. There were ants in the bathroom and the water from the sinks and shower smelled like rotten eggs. There was no way we were going to use shower or wash our hands with that water. On night 2, the night manager finally moved us to a different cabin in the pirate ship. The newer cabin was clean but the ship was very loud from the interstate traffic and the 40mph winds. There wasn't very much for our kids to do and the property really needs to be cleaned up. There were lots of stray cats. It's just so unfortunate that we wasted our money staying here. After the first cabin and not being able to get our money back it was so hard to somewhat relax and enjoy our vacation.
