slice of Large Marge Pizza - Large 20" and The Max Pizza - Large 20"
    Lauren Y.

Found this place on my lunch break and i'm so glad i did. Cute store with lots of decorations and lots of speciality pie options. my first time i tried "the max" and a "large marge" slice and my second visit i tried their garlic knots. i love how the slices are big and thin crust that doesn't immediately flop. being from NJ i've got some high pizza standards and Benny Blanco's checks all the boxes. staff and customaries alike are all super nice and you can tell this is a popular spot in the community. will be adding this to my lunch rotation for sure.

If you are close and want an old reheated slice of piece this the place for you. They claim to be New York style but other than it be large pieces there was nothing NY about it. When we entered my husband and I just looked at each other very well knowing we were going to be disappointed. We had decided to go to Benny Blancos because we like to try a new pizza place every now and again. We walked in and ordered and were told it would be 30-45 minutes for our take out order. Clearly you should order ahead. So we sat down at one of the small tables they have inside. The guy taking our order was nice enough but seems like a bunch of bros work and maybe owe the place. The pizza was hot, hot, hot,...clearly straight out of the oven. When we got it home we both thought it was fine but nothing impressive and needed a bit more sauce.

One big slice of cheese pizza...yum!

I had heard a lot of good things about this place. That it could be like NY pizza really had me hooked. I had seen their lunch special of two slices of cheese pizza and a soda for $8 so I decided to stop in and give them a try. Coming from NYC I'm well aware that there are all kinds of pizzas and to each his own. But I'm old enough to remember that pizza shops were everywhere when I was growing up. All I knew was cheese pizza! And I loved it. A light sauce covering a thin crust with cheese over it all. The crust was tasty not burnt or crisp. You enjoyed the whole slice and it was cheap! Nowadays no longer cheap but the lunch special gives you two huge slices plus a can of soda. I ordered takeout and those slices fit into a large pizza box. I did take one photo of one slice in the box. I measured it at some 8 by 11 inches a slice. The taste brought me back to NYC. This is one of the best I've had outside NYC. It's not fancy it's just cheese pizza but it's quite good. No question I'll be back again to try what else they have like eggplant parmigiana sandwich. It's a very small shop as prior photos show it quite nicely. It is cute inside and clean. Well worth a try if you are in the area. When you walk in you'll see the pizzas by the slice. Each pizza on its own pan and they are huge. Not just extra large they are gigantic! Pizza has changed an awful lot in my years on earth but if you want to experience the traditional NY pizza give them a try.

Great pizza spot in Arvada. We got a Medium chicken bacon ranch and Large the works. Both had a crispy, thin crust that still held up all the toppings. The Large is truly large and topped with a generous amount of toppings. Sauce + cheese + toppings were a great balanced ratio. The folks who took my order and the chefs were super friendly and warm. We got the pizza for dinner, but they also offer a good lunch deal: 2 slices + drink for $8, that we'll definitely be back for.

Arvada needed a good NY style pizza place in the area and this place hits the mark! Just down the street from my house I noticed them as new when looking for pizza on Yelp. I went down to take a look as they serve by the slice or a whole pie. The owner was there and was happy to chat with me. He explained their type of pizza and even showed the back room where all the magic happens. Now I don't know my pizza ovens, but he said he brought this one in special. It sure looked special to me! The gentleman running the back wasn't an inexperienced kid, but he appeared to be a seasoned pizza maker. Nice guy! This is their second location and glad they decided on Arvada. I spent $8 dollars for a meat lovers' slice which was HUGE! $8 Lunch Special- Just to clear up confusion it runs from 11am-3pm (I was told) and is only for plain cheese slices. Good enough for me! I will definitely be back for that!

FRI-YAY FIELD REPORT:…read more Alright you beautiful chaos goblins, it's Friday night and I found myself back at Randi's. You know the place, strip mall chic, nothing fancy, the kind of spot where you show up in whatever you wore to Target and nobody blinks. I've been here before, and honestly the experience has always been a bit of a roulette wheel: sometimes great, sometimes just ....meh. Tonight? Buckle up First, the service. I'm not asking for Broadway jazz hands and a standing ovation when I walk in, but a hint of pleasantness would be nice. My server looked like smiling might actually cause structural damage to her face. Honey, that scowl was so deep it came with its own zip code. Those cause wrinkles, sweetie. Just saying. While I waited (and waited... and waited...) I was treated to a lovely soundtrack of staff conversations about doom, gloom, and existential dread. Babe... I'm just trying to order carbs, not prepare for the apocalypse It was not exactly the light Friday night vibe I was going for while trying to order a drink. BTW It took a solid stretch of time just to get that drink and put in an order. I kept checking my watch like I was waiting for a delayed flight. Eventually, we got the drink and the order placed. The food shows up and let's give the kitchen the applause it deserves because the food crew clearly came to work tonight. Actually good. Not "call the Vatican we've witnessed a miracle" good, but solid. The antipasto salad was fresh and yes they included peppers, which I appreciate because some places act like peppers are a controlled substance. And the calzone? The bread was homemade. And listen... when you bite into bread that clearly came from a real human effort and not a Sysco freezer tomb, you notice. It was warm, chewy, and legitimately good. So now I'm emotionally conflicted. The kitchen is back there doing honest Italian-food work while the front of house is acting like they're being forced to serve pasta at emotional gunpoint. The Breakdown: Calzone bread: Homemade, heroic, deserves a medal Antipasto: Fresh, crunchy, pepper-inclusive (we love representation) Food overall: Solidly good Service: If enthusiasm were calories this would be a diet plate Randi's, my chaotic carb dealer, I will probably return because that bread had my attention. But next time maybe let the staff know it's okay to experience joy.
