I would say this location was fine, not the best one I've been to though. The pepperoni slice took about 4-5 minutes to come out of the oven. It tasted fine, about the same taste that I remembered. they keep various toppings out such as parm, oregano, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper. After the rave reviews and hype, I was expecting a lot from Benny's. What I found was great service and not so great pizza. It reminds me of the spots I would go to after having a few too many drinks at the club and wanting to soak them up with alcohol. The slices are huge and go for just $5-$7; but the price reflects the poor quality of ingredients. I was very underwhelmed with my garlic mushroom. One, the mushrooms just sat on top of the pizza--literally. They were not cooked in at all and were still very chewy. There was no garlic whatsoever, and the cheese was dry and stiff. Thankfully, their balsamic helped with this, which was surprisingly good. They should sell that balsamic! Three stars for the kind service and the chill music and vibe. Maybe engage your customers. Not asking for anything ground breaking. Start simple, how can I help or I can take your order. Try something vs. just standing there waiting for the customer to know if they should just start ordering. Finally the phone number for this location listed on multiple sites states "voicemail" hasn't been set up and that is the only option you have. I think this may be intentional at this point.
