Tazza Kitchen is where clean lines meet bold flavors. Think of warm wood, steel accents, and a hint of factory chic -- the kind of place where you can sip a craft beer under Edison bulbs while your pizza bubbles in the oven and the tacos come with a twist you didn't see coming. We're casual but clever, simple but never boring -- it's a laid-back gathering spot for those who like their comfort food with a little edge and a lot of flavor. I met my new obsession: their Blaze & Graze SPICY SAUSAGE & BLACK PEPPER HONEY Pizza -- a wood-fired masterpiece that walks the line between fiery and flirtatious. Fresh, melty cheese sets the stage, their spicy sausage brings the swagger, and a drizzle of black pepper honey ties it all together with a wink. It's smoky, spicy, and just sweet enough to keep you coming back for another bite -- a little chaos, perfectly balanced. Wrap it up at Tazza Kitchen the only way we know how -- with full hearts, happy bellies, and maybe a little sauce on your sleeve. Cheers!

You need to eat here. You just do. The food and drinks are phenomenal, so flavorful and unique. The service is outstanding. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They accept reservations and honor the seating quickly upon arrival. It's just a great time all around. My only gripe is the parking lot... you may have to circle a few times or park in the deck nearby, but trust, it's worth it.

Stopped by here for lunch to meet a friend and we enjoyed lovely salads. I ordered the garden salad with shrimp and a delicious, creamy peppercorn ranch. Nothing better than a creamy home made tasting dressing. Our service was stellar and I loved the iced tea with lemonade they brought. The glass my tea came in was just the right size and the straws were paper which I appreciated. My friend and I chatted for over two hours and we left to be which was nice. This place is located in a popular area of Raleigh so you could easily go shopping after lunch.

    TK Nachos and vodka pizza

Randomly stopped by here for lunch and was so pleasantly surprised. Personally I've never heard of this place and I'm surprised because everything was nice from the service, the interior, the prices, to the food. We came here around 2 on a Sunday and walked in and sat at the bar. There was a decent amount of people dining in. They had a great brunch and drink menu but we decided to get the vodka pie and nachos off the regular menu. The pizza was great! No complaints. We added basil on top too. The nachos were also delicious- the pulled chicken on it was so flavorful and cooked well. I'm normally not a huge fan of pulled chicken. They were a little stingy on the queso but when we mentioned it to our server she brought us out a big side of queso for free. After that- the nachos were perfection. I'd definitely come back to try other items based on my experience. Also, our total was only $24. Great food for great prices!

I have nothing but great things to say about Tazza Kitchen. This place just brings good vibes and a wonderful atmosphere. I ordered their pork carnitas with fries, and it was so good. I also ordered their peppercorn sauce, and it was delicious paired well with the fries and tacos. The service was great, everyone was attentive and friendly with us. After we ordered, our food came out pretty fast, which is always great. I cannot wait to return to Tazza Kitchen, I definitely recommend it.

    Chicken Burrito

I tried Tazza Kitchen Village District for brunch and had the Crab Cake Benedict and the Chicken Burrito. The Crab Cake Benedict came with lemon chipotle hollandaise, crispy prosciutto, poached eggs, and green fried rice. The concept sounded great, but the execution fell short. The flavors felt one-dimensional, and the prosciutto didn't pair well with the dish overall. The Chicken Burrito had fresno and poblano peppers, red onion, mozzarella, pepper jack, a fried egg, tomatillo chipotle salsa, and crema. Unfortunately, it was lukewarm, a bit dry, and the chicken lacked seasoning. The saving grace of the dish was the chipotle salsa, which had the perfect balance of heat and smokiness. That salsa really carried the plate and made the burrito somewhat enjoyable. Overall, the experience felt very average. Nothing was terrible, but nothing really stood out either. With some adjustments in seasoning and execution, these dishes could shine a lot more.

    Huevos Rancheros

This was unfortunately one of the worst Huevos Rancheros that I've had. The tortilla was overcooked and even a knife couldn't cut through it. I did mention this to the waiter when he asked, "how is everything." Definitely recommend lightly frying these and making sure they aren't stale. Both could cause the hardness. Should have gone with the BLT . . .

revisited this place after a few years and the food is still as reliable as I remember. I got the TK BLT with a Caesar salad, LOVED how much Parmesan came on my salad and have no complaints about the BLT. Our server was super attentive and we got to sit outside in the shade. It made for the perfect Sunday lunch, I made a reservation ahead of time but definitely didn't need to!

We were in the area for a concert in the downtown section of Raleigh, but wanted to do a little shopping in the Village district, so we tried Tazza. Loved the vibe walking in. The place was very busy at lunchtime on Saturday. The pizza and tacos (my favorite) looked amazing on the menu. We started off with a couple Caesar salads and a side of roasted beets. Yum. Then, we tried the Freestyle pizza with caramelized onions and mushrooms, 2 white pizzas, and the Mixed Tacos with a side. I like that you can order the tacos individually and mix and match them. Everything was delicious!! The pizzas were tasty and the tacos were yummy and spicy. Prices were very fair with portions being generous. Our server, Noah, was friendly and pleasant. Kinda wish I had this place closer to home in the Charlotte region. I would definitely come back here.

Wonderful experience here. Made a reservation online for 7.15pm on a Friday evening and were seated promptly. The service was good. We started with the chips and queso to start which were delicious. The chips tasted very homemade. My partner and I split the braised beef short rib tacos and a White pizza. Both dishes were super good. Definitely would return.

Pleasant and welcoming staff. The restaurant was clean and spacious. The lighting was perfect. Our waiter was kind but had very few recommendations and was sometimes unsure. The cocktails were great! I enjoyed my Negroni and a glass of sparkling rose. For the food, I enjoyed the meatballs and cauliflower app. The pizza was also good. I customized one with spicy sausage, basil, and onions. I recommend Tazza for appetizers and good cocktails. I look forward to returning to enjoy more things from the menu.

Picked up a make your own pizza as I was told by several people, including the staff, that it is the best item on their menu. I started with their base of fresh mozzarella and red sauce and added basil and black pepper honey. I was excited when I opened the box and took my first bite. The pizza was a thin crust with the crust getting thicker and bubblier around the edges. After that first bite, it was kind of downhill. There wasn't a lot of flavor in the toppings and parts of it that were very burnt. I don't think I will make it to eat those parts as I couldn't make it past a couple of slices as I was hungry. I ended up having to eat something else when I arrived home as I could not eat anymore of it. Three stars for the amazing customer service and cool atmosphere. I loved the chill vibe and decor. This looks like a cool date night spot. I just wish the pizza lived up to the hype as it would be great to come back here. It makes me sad.

    White Pizza
    Gina Marie S.

Yes, I went back for the white pizza. It did not disappoint! Beschamel sauce, caramelized onions, and crispy bacon made this unique pizza tasty and memorable. Perfect cook. I devoured it! Kudos to the chef. Busy for lunch (on a Wednesday). Making a reservation would be smart. Too chilly to sit outside. Sat at the bar instead of waiting for a table. Seated quickly at the bar. Excellent service by the bartender. Yes, I'll be back - in exactly 2 weeks ;)

From the staff to the manager to the food, everything was on point. The food truly speaks for itself. They serve small plates, which we love because it gives you the chance to try different things and experience a variety of flavors. We started with the fried pork belly on tostones. It was perfectly seasoned, topped with avocado, and every bite just melted in your mouth. Next, we had the tamarind sticky ribs with a tamarind mango barbecue sauce. This was a perfect example of how simplicity can create complex flavors. The ribs were cooked just right -- not completely falling off the bone, but tender enough that when you bit into them, the meat pulled apart so easily. They were juicy, full of flavor, and had just the right touch of spice from the chili flakes. Then we moved on to the mini arepas, and oh my God. They had slow-cooked pork, guava barbecue sauce, and fried papas on top. The arepa itself was crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside. The savory pork paired with the sweetness of the guava barbecue sauce was incredible, and the crunch from the fried papas took it to another level. Now, I have a bit of a sweet tooth, but my wife does not. I wanted dessert, and we were leaning toward the tres leches, but our waitress highly recommended the bread pudding. I am not usually a fan of bread pudding at all, but her recommendations had been on point all night, so I decided to trust her. I am so glad we did. They take a Mexican bolillo, soak it overnight in tres leches, then pan-sear it to create this crispy caramelized outside while keeping the inside warm, soft, and sweet. It is topped with crema and toasted coconut, then they pour warm guava syrup over it and serve it with a scoop of coconut sorbet. The layers of flavor in that dessert were unreal. Honestly, it may have been the best dessert we have ever had. And remember, my wife is not big on sweets -- she usually only takes one bite of dessert, but this time she tried to eat over half of it. Lol. I highly recommend this place. The food, the service, the drinks, and the atmosphere were all amazing. And after dinner, you can even head upstairs to work off the food with salsa lessons and a dance club. This is definitely a spot worth checking out! Me alegra muchísimo haberlo hecho. Jajaja.
