I've been to Benny's many, many times the last few years and the place never disappoints. The shop always has cheese, pepperoni, and sausage on the menu, but they also have 2-3 monthly specials with one always being vegetarian. I visited in January and had one of their monthly specials: pineapple and jalapeños. I was hoping for a sweet and savory/spicy flavor and that's what it delivered. I wish, however, I would've added on the hot honey drizzle ($1 extra) to embolden the hot and sweet flavors. My friend got the pepperoni with hot honey drizzle and it was exquisite. That might be my next order. Benny's staff is always friendly and service speedy (it takes about 5-7 minutes to heat up a slice). Prices are great (you can have a slice and soft drink or water all for under $10) and the ambiance is always lively. I came here on a recommendation for pizza. They only have three main options: cheese, pepperoni, and sausage (mild or spicy). There is also seasonal? specials for a little bit more. Got the pepperoni and spicy sausage to try. The slices are so big two plates are needed! The pizza is very tasty from the cheese to the topping to the crust. They have parmesan cheese, crushed red pepper, and oregano to shake on your slice. They have a drink cooler with many options and variations of drinks. They also have beer as well to choose. The prices aren't too bad for what you're getting. And tax is included. The seating is limited with four booths, some bar seating, and two small tables outside. In general you probably won't wait long to sit unless there is a long line. I suggest expect to order to go with a possibility of sitting down. Definitely will be back to try the specials. Fantastic!! I felt like I was back in NYC! You order at the counter. They call out your name when it is ready. You pull your drinks from the cooler and you can buy a giant slice. Okay, it's a really big pizza...a really big $40 plain pizza. With LESS cheese and sauce than a much smaller standard large pizza. There was 3" all away around with nothing on it...just dough. I have a picture of the pitiful slice with VERY LITTLE CHEESE AND SAUCE to prove my point. As far as service goes, i ordered my pizza in person...no calling it in first.
