This spot is doing subs right. Definitely keeps the local vibe and everyone who's come in the past stays a fan. Their food is fresh, the toppings get evenly distributed so each bite is full of flavor. Even when the cut the sub in half it was like a perfect split for me and my husband to share. Staff works great as a team since I hardly see this place without a line, but the greet each person with a smile and help prepare everything with patience and good energy. Pretty easy to find since it's on the corner of a busy street. The parking can seem full, but if you're ok walking a little more, it's connected to a large shopping center that will always have plenty of space.

First time at Benny's. Got two sandwiches- they are large, filling and tasty. The chicken salad was a bit under seasoned so we ended up adding more mustard to add some zing to it. The pastrami sandwich was on point. Service is friendly and efficient- they take care in making sure the sandwich is properly customized. The atmosphere is very much a mom and pop sandwich shop vibe and they have a punch card so we are looking forward to the 10th sandwich being free!

First time here and the sandwich was amazing! Fresh ingredients and tasty bread. The person making it was helpful and service was fast despite there being a line . The ambiance feels like a good ole fashioned sandwich shop. Ordered the Italian sub.

Been seeing this spot on the drive by for a while and finally had time to stop in and try it. They were hit with a huge online order so it took a min for me to get service but they weee very communicative and pleasant about it. I got the Benny special on the jalapeño cheese roll. The amount of meat was perfect and there was no skimpin on the add-ons. Definitely worth checking out and I wil b back there soon. Super great service and a really good sandwich

Wow! This place is amazing! Pricing and portions are unbeatable and the sandwich was delicious. Got their Italian sandwich that was loaded and big in portion for their regular size. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Walking in, the decor was super cute. A little deli at the corner of a plaza. The workers were very friendly and welcoming. It was my first time there and they were very patient with me. I ordered a Benny's special and a regular Italian, both on sourdough bread. We loved both! We look forward to trying other sandwiches when we're back in the area!

I've been going to Benny's Place for years and I think it's finally time to leave a review. Every time I walk in, I'm immediately greeted, which makes the experience feel welcoming right from the start. My go-to order is the California turkey sub on a French roll with all the fixings and Italian dressing, either on or on the side. The sandwich is always made fresh, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. This sandwich is what continues to bring me back. The restaurant itself is always clean, and the employees are not only efficient but genuinely nice, which makes the atmosphere even better. I love it there, and I'll keep coming back.

Got the turkey avocado sandwich on sourdough with a bag of chips for $13 It was good and tasted fresh. Something simple we could make at home. This is a good lunch spot if you want a sandwich. Got a cup of water to drink, do yourself a favor and just buy the bottled water.

Extremely friendly staff! Solid options. But unfortunately they skimp on the meats heavily. The reviews are true haha. I ordered the large bennys special for $15.99 - 3 different lunch meat options, and your choice of toppings. I never go too heavy on topping options, but this sandwich was heavy on the bread, very light on the deli meats. Way Too much bread for the small amount of deli meats they give you. Overall im glad I gave it a shot because of how mixed the reviews were. Will I be back? no, I will not come back.

    Benny's Sandwich Platter

We ordered a sandwich platter from Benny's for a family function. I'm very happy w these sandwiches and love the variety. Also, love that sprouts are one of the ingredient options. The squaw bread also differentiates it from other typical sandwich joints. They'll also accompany vegetarian/vegan requests (no mayo and no meat). Staff is nice. Heads up, though, if you're planning to order a sandwich platter, you'd need to give em 72 hours. Overall, it's not your basic sandwich shop, it's better. I'd get this again in the future. Support local business!!

The absolute best turkey sandwich this side of Texas. I've driven by Benny's place for a couple years now. I've wanted to find a place better than Jersey Mike's, and submarina. Last saturday my wife and I decided to get lunch here. The best decision after marrying my beautiful wife. I ordered the California turkey which comes with turkey, bacon and avacado. Magnificent house French roll. This roll has to be the best in French rolls in all of the south I

We stopped here on the way home from Pechanga while charging our Tesla and since it was in the same plaza, we figured we'd check it out. I assumed it was more of a franchise bakery than a standalone artisan spot, so I came in with pretty low expectations. I was just planning to grab a cinnamon roll, a loaf of their Cinnamon Burst Bread and a quick sandwich for the drive home. To my surprise, their house-made sandwiches are served on freshly baked bread, made with fresh ingredients, and cost under $10 (Panera could never!!!). Their baked goods were also reasonably priced with generous portions. We picked up the Cinnamon Burst Bread, a cinnamon roll, a honey bran muffin (which completely stole the show for me; it was incredibly moist and I'd come back just for that) and an almond poppy seed scone. The service here was just as impressive. Everyone was so friendly and personable and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed being there. I also loved their "Giving Rack," where anyone in need can take free baked goods. It's such a thoughtful idea and says a lot about the kind of business they are. This is easily one of my favorite bakery finds and it'll definitely be a regular stop whenever I'm back in the area.

Rockin' Jay's looked at my weak soul and said "bet" -- then saved it in the best way possible. Counter girl hit me with a smile so bright I almost reached for sunglasses. The entire all-female crew was straight beast-mode at the open sandwich bar, slinging subs like they were on a mission from the sandwich gods. Atmosphere? Spacious as hell, proper New York deli that moonlights as a 70s rock dive -- screaming reds and greens, green booths, wooden tables, tiled floors, the whole retro package you see in the pics. The playlist was gloriously all over the place in the best way -- Contemporary Christian one minute, 2019 pop bangers the next, basically spanning six decades of straight fire. "Listen to your heart" came on and I damn near did while they built my baby. Every single pick was gold though. I ordered the 12" Capicola & Provolone ($16.69). I yelled "the works -- no mustard, drown me in onions and olives." They dropped an absolute beast of a sandwich... and it came perfectly toasted straight out the gate the way it should be. No sad "can you toast this?" negotiation. Golden, crunchy bread that cracks like it owes you money. Meat stacked stupid high, provolone doing its melty thing, then they buried the whole thing under an avalanche of fresh, snapping shredded lettuce and threw in those glossy peppers on the side like a mic drop. This thing is ridiculously messy -- oil dripping, lettuce flying, pure delicious chaos in every bite. Pro tip: there's no napkin dispenser at the tables, so you gotta go full scavenger hunt by the self-serve soda machine to grab your own stack. Worth every greasy finger and napkin raid. It fed this giant for two meals and left me still full, slightly greasy, and weirdly emotional. My spinach smoothie PTSD? Cured. If your diet has been as depressing as mine, stop torturing yourself and drag your weak ass here immediately. Friendly as can be, killer vibe, and subs that actually deliver. Tell 'em the tall smoothie refugee sent you. I'm claiming a booth next week and bringing stretchy pants... and maybe my own napkin stash.

Johnny took our order and was so friendly! Really great customer service. It was really busy for lunch, we ordered two sandwiches to-go and waited probably 15-20 minutes at least. So don't come if you're in a hurry, but it's worth the wait if you can! Both of our sandwiches were excellent, I ordered the roast beef and it had tons of meat. The Italian dressing they have is delicious. My husband ordered the Mafia and said it was just great too. The 12in sandwiches are huge, definitely plenty to split or make two meals out of. We'll be back!

There's a wall of jarred sauces, pickled vegetables, canned tomatoes, giardiniera, and more. There is seating inside the restaurant as well as outside. My favorite and go-to sandwich is the PLT. If you're a BLT fan you'll love this sandwich. It's an Italian take on the popular BLT; the PLT comes with sliced pancetta, sun-dried tomato pesto, lettuce, and tomatoes on a ciabatta roll and pressed in a panini press. Served with pepperoncinis on the side. While this sandwich is delicious, keep in mind as it takes a little longer to make in the panini press but it is worth it every time!
