I like the sandwiches here and have for a long time. I do have a problem with putting Dijon mustard on an Italian sub, which is what I ordered today. WHY??? If like me you'd rather have a more authentic style Italian sub be sure to tell them to "hold the mustard," which is what I will do next time. Almost ruined an otherwise good lunch today. read more

First time visiting here and my biggest regret would be why I waited so long to begin with! You order at the counter, take a number, find a seat and have your sandwiches delivered to you. So FRESH! So GOOD! So MASSIVE! Opted out on the lettuce, you know, just to be safe, but the sprouts more than made up for the missing greens. I got the Cali Delight, next time I'll add avocado or try the Turkado. The SAUCE?! Definitely the cherry on top. I have not been disappointed, every time we come the sandwiches are fresh and good size, their sauce on point, the beer selection is perfect for the occasion. Ordered the turkado and picked it up. The secret sauce was great and highlighted the fresh ingredients with a sweet and tangy taste. The sourdough bread was soft with a great crust. Everything was packed and wrapped nicely so when I got home it still looked fresh and wonderful. read more

Wanted to kill some time & grab a nice casual bite before my afternoon tattoo appointment. Board and Brew is a few doors down from the nail salon I frequent when I'm in this part of town. First time here and a filling quick bite, is more than I could ask for. Glancing at the menu, I don't know why my eyeballs kept glancing at the work turkey. Per usual, my go to is typically an Italian sub. Their version (Genoa salami, uncured natural smoked ham, turkey breast, Swiss cheese, banana peppers, homemade Italian dressing, Dijon mustard, lettuce, red onions, & tomato on a French baguette)- caught me off guard. The Swiss cheese & turkey aren't the traditional way of an Italian sub and not my preference on one either. Thankfully I was able to substitute the turkey w/ more ham and the Swiss cheese w/ cheddar. After a few samples of a cold pint- picked the Rice Lager and snagged the Funky Dirty kettle chips (think BBQ w/ Salt & Vinegar)- my sub arrived. I made a comment to the manager- Oh! I didn't know it was served cold. And he offered to have it toasted. It didn't dawn on me to ask when I was ordering, and it was never offered when I was. So, THANK YOU!! Another crispy sunny winter morning. And it felt great to make use of the outdoor patio. Having the SoCal sun beam on you and enjoy the fresh air w/ a good lunch- makes for a great way to start your day! Very casual in here. We stopped in to pick up sandwiches to go today. I had been here once before when it first opened and I did not care for it because I remember thinking there was way too much sauce on the sandwich I ordered. This time I opted for Tom's Choice with sauce on the side. It was so good! The sauce on the side was perfect because I chose how much to have instead of it being all I tasted in my sandwich. The meat portions were generous and fresh. I also tried the potato salad. It had a sweet pickle relish which I don't like in my potato salad, but this one wasn't bad. The male employee who took our order was very friendly, and the wait for our sandwiches wasn't too long. The other sandwich we ordered was a tuna sandwich for my daughter. Although my daughter didn't like her sandwich, I really enjoyed mine and I will definitely return to try others. read more

Delicious sandwiches every time! Board & Brew Temecula never disappoints. The chicken club is my absolute favorite! Perfectly made, super flavorful, and that special sauce is a MUST (get extra... thank me later). Everything is always fresh and satisfying, and it's an easy go-to when you're craving a solid sandwich. My only complaint: the beer selection could use some work. We're in Southern California, a Mexican lager is desperately needed! A refreshing lager pairs so well with these sandwiches, and there are a few too many hard ciders and IPAs instead. So we place a pickup order around 0.5 hrs to close and the bar is more than half full. Even ordered a drink at the bar while waiting. Come home to find one of the sauces full of shxx. I always get the Pastrami and it's good most of the time. This last trip was not so good and marked my third time of not so great sandwiches in the past few months. The Pastrami had so much fat that i couldn't even chew it. It was definitely substandard and i am really disappointed. This is without a doubt one of the worst customer experiences you can have at a place to eat. The workers were not directly rude and the food was absolutely delicious as always. However, when I arrived at 7pm they were already cleaned up, chairs on tables and workers chilling/drinking beer as if they were closed. The worst part is that they were blasting some of the lowest quality, horrendous, explicit music of all time. Most of the workers were very young which makes sense but there has got to be some better awareness of these factors. Lastly, the bathroom stall is unable to lock. Just another thing to note if you trying to take a dump with some privacy. read more

Moved here from Anaheim Hills, where we frequented the B&B there (and LOVED it). This one has the worst customer service. If you come after 7pm, be prepared to not be served a beer at 7:20pm due to "last call." And they start cleaning tables and putting chairs up at 7pm (an hour before closing). And if you want to sit outside, that won't be happening either since they bring all of that in at 7pm as well. I have worked in restaurants before and the rule always is- never deny anyone anything if they come in before closing. And if they're still sitting at their table a few minutes prior to closing (or even after closing!), don't ask them if they want a to-go bag and try to hurry them out. And the cleanliness of this one needs a ton of work, especially out on the patio. Gross. read more

I know this is clearly the unpopular opinion but it's not for me. I tried the turkado and the tuna. Both were mostly bread. Not toasted, just big floppy bread. If you get sliced, it's similar to wonder bread. If you get a baguette, it's similar to the big fluffy loafs sold at vons - sounds nice but since it's not toasted, it doesn't hold up. I'm also not a fan of the sauce? I wish I liked it but it's just too sweet. read more

The food is always fresh, the sandwiches are packed with flavor, and the vibe is relaxed but upbeat perfect for grabbing lunch or hanging out with friends. I also want to give a special shoutout to the girl with the skunk hair who works there her work ethic is seriously impressive. She's always hustling, friendly with everyone, and makes sure every order comes out just right even when the place is busy. Great food but mid customer service. I asked the cashier if she could have them wrap my sandwich half's individually, she politely said no. I asked again and said no but offered to give me foil but never gave it to me.They already come cut so it's not like I asked her to do something extreme. My food wasn't made yet and it wasn't busy at all. A simple request to the cooks behind her would have been appreciated. I usually don't leave reviews either but it did bother me because I've also been in food industry and understand that helping a customer goes a long way. We find Board & Brew to be tasty indulgence for our palate. It's a first class Sub shop, with a great selection of beers on tap We were in the Board & Brew near Oceanside a few weeks back and stopped in to grab lunch. This Temecula location is very similar and has the identical offerings (see Menu). Again, the boss went with the Grilled Baja Chicken (photo) which is incredibly tasty. You need to try it. I went with their Calif Left Coast Pastrami, with extra meat. It was a couple of bucks up charge, but it was worth it. Admittedly I'm still getting use to having pickles and grilled onions on a pastrami sandwich. LOL. But what the heck, when in Rome as they say. We shared an Iced Tea, and our late afternoon dinner came to $30 or so. Okay, they've sold us. read more

This is honestly the bootleg version of any of the other locations. I feel bad for anyone that came to this location as their first experience with board and brew, because the others are so much better. The food here is sloppy and inconsistent. The beers are $1-$2 more than the San Diego locations for some reason?? Staff is incredibly rude, and they don't wear board and brew apparel so it's hard to even tell they work there in the first place. And the bathrooms are foul. I've been to several locations and will not be back to this one because woof that was a terrible experience all around. But most notable again is the EXTREMELY RUDE staff. I have to update my review. The past two times I've ordered food from here, my order has been wrong. This time, I paid extra for avocado on a sandwich and there was no avocado. I asked for no tomato on the sandwich and it had tomato. On the Cobb salad, there was supposed to be cheese and there was none. There were sunflower seeds on it, but that's not on the ingredient list. What if I had an allergy? I ordered online and didn't get my food until about 20 minutes after the time it was to be ready. I have twice contacted corporate regarding not getting what I paid extra for etc., and have not heard back. This place does have good food, but I think next time I'll go elsewhere since the kitchen doesn't seem to read the orders. read more

I have had Board and Brew before out in Tustin where I Work and I haven't had it since before the Pandemic so I was pleased to find that there was one here in Temecula! My daughter has never tried their food so I ordered two of the Turkado Sandwich and added Cheddar Cheese and some Mesquite BBQ Chips. This sandwich is LOADED with Turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and red onion piled on Sourdough bread. The ingredients are fresh and the sandwich is made to order so I am never disappointed. We both enjoyed our food and will be ordering again very soon since they have a big menu with other delicious sandwiches, wraps and salads to choose from! read more
