He started off asking me what kind of cut I wanted and spent a couple minutes making sure WE had the right vision. As soon as he began, I could tell he was good because of how he approached my hair, not too fast or slow. He took thin layers off each time to make sure the line was straight. He used the right amount of pressure against my head and didn't jam the blades into my head so even when he sprayed the aftershave on me, I didn't have any stinging sensations! This is good especially for me because I have acne prone skin. Vinh is one of those guys where he gets the general idea then goes to work and you somehjow miraculously look good without having to give specific instructions. It is evident through the final product that he takes the shape of your head into account to create the lines. 100% recommend and will come back. They open pretty early which was cool that I got to get my day going. They take Venmo & Zelle, aside from cash! It was my 1st time and got a Hair Cut & Shave with Vinh. He moved fairly quick, but made sure to go over multiple rounds to ensure the whole cut was evened out. I had my hair cut far too short (when I asked to not touch the top) by other barbers at this location and Ben, despite me wearing a mask, recognized me and apologized for the experience. I was on a mission trying to get a haircut for my baby boy drove by and saw Ben's and decided to stop in. We got in and pretty much didn't have to wait long for them to cut his hair. He was difficult and wigging 90% of the time but she manage to bribe him with a lollipop to continue on cutting his hair. She was even able to line and fade his hair. We plan on taking him here from now on. Ohappy mommy here! Update: I ended up taking my son here again and they didn't disappoint. This time my son got Ben to cut his hair and boy oh boy, the first time in my life I seen my son sit still on a barbers chair. I don't know how Ben did it but it was like magic. Today I came in and Ben said he was leaving so I got a cut by another barber. (Should of just left) By far one of the worst fades I've gotten it's not blended well. asked the barber for a medium low skin fade and was not a fan of his work, afterwards he asked if I wanted a hairline I told him just a "clean up" "no box! and he still gives me a crooked line up and stretched it back messed up my shape up. First time was to a middle aged white guy who was EXTREMELY rough with his hand and clippers. I thought this dude was a damn car mechanic and his clipper was like his torque wrench on my head. I had to find a new barber, my older brother showed me this one because it's more local, and it's cheaper! Walk-Ins are welcome, but Ben and Vu always take care of me. $17 for a skin fade and or 1. DONT GET SCAMMED! Arrived around 8:40am waited for my turn and in almost an hour I was next. As I was about to get up and sit on the barbers chair, this barber in the picture wearing a white shirt tells me this other guy that arrived inside the barber shop 15-20 minutes after me was actually next and he was waiting in his car. No one had told me ahead of time that there was a guy waiting before me waiting in his car. Which I thought was unfair. I played along and waited for my turn to get a haircut. After my cut was done I asked the barber why no one told me there was a guy ahead of me and he tells me with his stuttering voice he was busy. I also asked why didn't I see the guys car in the parking lot when I arrived since he claims he was waiting in his car. He answers by saying he parked in the other side of the business. Obviously I knew he was lying and told him I'm not paying. As a business you should know "time is money" and you don't waste your customers time and lie to them. I've been going to this barber shop since the beginning of 2021 before this barber started working here. I always chose Ben the owner of shop to cut my hair but unfortunately he wasn't there. The barber was also standing in front of my car demanding I pay. I wasn't happy how he wasted my time and lied to me. So why should I pay for that? I've been coming here for a couple months now and man I have got to say the service here is top tier! Thanks to Vu who has cut my hair multiple times. He definitely from day 1 understands my kind of curly wavy hair but knows how to make it look fresh and clean. From the scissor cut and cutters to fade it up and then gets my edges blended on point and he finishes it with shaving cream on the back of my neck and behind my ears using a blade old fashion barber style which a lot of places don't do this is definitely in my opinion an awesome real barber shop experience. Plus the hot towel with some smell good aftershave spray. I also value the chill environment to wait in as it's peaceful and not all loud and obnoxious like the other barbers I have been too where they play all that loud Rap music and it's blaring and super cringe lol. The guy I had was a white man, wearing a red cap. I don't like getting my hair cut too often, as I always fear a barber was going to mess my hair up. And it happen again. I don't understand, why he cut my undercut in a way that it didn't look like the ones in the pictures you find on google. The side should be shaved completely, but the barber I had left some hair. This is the first time it happen to me. Maybe I should have been a bit more descriptive on how I want to cut my hair.
