Our Fidelity Home Warranty company had assigned a plumbing company and appliance repair company that were horrible. I called Ben's plumbing because we had used them before and Ryan was so competent. John came out the same day and replaced the copper supply line to our built in refrigerator that was too short. That enabled us to finally be able to pull out the refrigerator so the appliance person could replace the leaking plastic lines to our ice maker and water dispenser. I asked John about the plumber who had come to repair our leaking Kohler bathroom faucet and said it would take a week or so to come back with the needed part. Our water heater blew late Friday afternoon. Went up to Yelp and saw that Ben's Plumbing had some great reviews. Called Kathy the receptionist who said they were overloaded with some big jobs but understood that water was getting all over the place. Had to cancel a month ago because of an emergency. Was going to call a different company that gave a good rate to reschedule---Issac was great! Had an appmt btwn 12-2, but he called and asked if he could come over within 45 minutes; so he was at the house by about 10 30 am. I was expecting to have to mop the floor after he left, but he took everything out of the cabinet under the sink, and laid down a nice, thick mat to work on, which also kept the floor clean. As it turned out, the developers of the complex did not put in an electric outlet under the sink for the disposal, so he immediately called and got an electrician who came over. (Larry Palmer) Issac explained to me what was to be done, and also said that he'd call the next day to make sure the electrician came. Disposal was put in; Issac left the area neat and clean---hope we don't ever need a plumber again, but if we do, I certainly will call them! read more

Technician stated he would contact me on Tuesday (June 7) to set up a time. He, nor anyone else ever did. Based on this I would have to relate their dependability and reliability as zero. Ryan from Ben's Plumbing installed our Pelican Soft Water System. He knew his "stuff" and did a high quality installation. Unfortunately, when I questioned the charges for time spent, he explained he charged for waiting at the gate at our complex. Also, after quoting $20 to haul away our old softener, he charged us for the time to take it to the dump (apparently, an after-thought since this was not mentioned in his original estimate). I have a vacation home in Palm Desert and so I relied on Yelp to find a plumber to fix a loose kitchen faucet in May. The faucet was installed by another plumber and kept coming loose after about 6 months of use. Ben's Plumbing was very friendly on the phone and were able to send someone out the same day. Ryan came out the same day and did a great job. I think he found a solution that will be permanent. He was also able to do change out my old corroded outdoor faucets while he was there. I'm really happy with the work and the prices charged and will use them again. I have a new project planned in September for them! read more

I called Ben's plumbing at 7 AM this morning. The receptionist told me that Ben would get back to me within a few minutes. He called back within 10 minutes. He told me that one of his crewmembers, Isaiah, would likely be out to my house around 9 AM to help with my plumbing issue. Isaiah called me at 8:45 and actually arrived at my house a few minutes early. He went right to work on my stopped up kitchen drain. Within 45 minutes, he had fixed the plug drain and also installed my air gap correctly. He also use the router on our main drain line and cleaned it all out. I was expecting the charge for a plumber visit on such short notice to be over $300. The final bill was about half of that. I am much more than satisfied with the excellent service and prompt response of Ben's plumbing. I will most certainly be calling them again with any other plumbing issues and I encourage everyone else in the Coachella Valley to use them as well. Won't call again. I have utilized their services a few times in the past but last one was well below my expectations. Bottom line is that I was charged more than was quoted for no additional work, And, the sprinkler valve continued to leak. I contacted the 3 times to come back out and fix, no one got back to me. Had to contact a competitor and sure enough the pipe was leaking about a foot and a half down. They did not bother to dig deep enough to check the pipe. read more
