To be fair, I'm sure they're very competent plumbers. Unlike most outfits, they also return your call and are usually available to schedule either same or next day. If cost is no object, then these are your guys. However, if cost does matter, I would steer clear of this company unless it's an emergency. I'm a retired remodeling contractor helping out my sister at her condo and noticed the water pressure was high and the regulator wouldn't adjust. I didn't have time to swap it out, so she called Desert United Plumbing. Ramon came out the next day and it only took him about 45 minutes to swap it out for a new one and also replace a hose bib. She then got a non-itemized invoice for $698. The water pressure regulator they put in costs about $100 and throw in $15 for a hose bib, so this is mostly labor. We should've gotten a quote before the job, but with all the five-star reviews I guess we figured they were going to be reasonable. If Wes had told her over the phone that it would be a minimum $600 for the first hour, I assure you they would not have been hired. I've worked with several good plumbing subs over the years, but I've never met one that charged $10 per minute. read more

So I found Desert United Plumbing based on reviews. Called at 5:20 PM with a very broken bathroom tub/shower handle. I had no idea what was even broken other then the metal had literally sheered off in the handle. Sent a few pictures because I had no idea what I was talking about and the owner called right back and said "I can come now." Got to our place like at 6 PM and got to work. He was awesome. Very upfront with what the problem was. Got right to work. He went as quick as possible and made a miracle happen.
