Wow, what a great guy! I called Ben when my 15-year-old 47" Samsung TV developed vertical lines all the way across the screen. He asked me to send him a picture along with the model number of the TV. Ben is a really personable person and his service is great value. My Samsung 75" 5v is 3 years old and out of warranty, Samsung repair out of warranty is $180 to diagnose the issue, $120 per hour plus parts. I also had to wait a week for an appointment. I called Ben and he was at my house the same day to look at the TV. He determined the main board was the issue, ordered the part and repaired my TV within 4 days. Ben even showed up earlier and was finished by the time he originally told me he'd be over. I heard lots of good things about this business and thought I would give it a shot. Our 70" Vizio had a blue tint to it and I'd finally decided I would try and get it fixed. I called Ben and he told me what the problem was. He said he would order the part and when it was in he would come pick up my tv and get it back to me the next day. It took a little longer than expected to get the part and to put it in but I got my tv back and he was very accommodating with payment. A few days later half of the tv no longer worked. I called and he told me it was probably happening before he worked on it but I didn't notice it because of the blue tint. That didn't make any sense to me seeing as how half of the screen just stopped working which had never happened before. He agreed to take it back and work on it some more and it took almost 3 weeks before I heard back on it. He did loan us a tv in the meantime. Eventually, he told me the tv couldn't be fixed and he offered to sell me a different tv to replace it. I declined and asked for my tv back. He said he would refund the repair but he had already threw out the original part that was broken and I would be getting my tv back without that part as he was going to take his part out of it. He never gave me back my tv! I did get a refund and I guess he had to deal with the disposal of it but I'm sure he used it for parts before getting rid of it.
