On my most recent visit, they estimated the repair would take about four days, but the work was actually completed two days ahead of schedule. That was a pleasant surprise and speaks to their commitment to taking care of customers. What also stands out is their attention to detail. Not only was the repair work excellent, but they thoroughly cleaned the vehicle before returning it to me--even the floor mats were spotless. It's those little touches that show how much pride they take in their work. Because of the aluminum truck bed body the shop I previously used could not fix it. So I searched around and called some well known body shops that did aluminum body work and they declined to see my truck. Thanks to Yelpers that left earlier reviews for Chang's I called and came to them. They saw me the same day which was great because I had taken off the day from work. BEST part was I was actually able to leave my truck in capable hands. They did ALL the work contacting and working with my insurance company, AAA (who did an awesome job too). Simon and his crew kept me updated along the process. Happy to report the work was great and the calibrating of the truck sensors were perfect too. Last shop could never get the rear right sensors right and I always would get a false warning. Thanks Simon!

They did find more issues after removing the bumper, and I trusted them to add the extra work beyond the initial estimate. Tony was courteous and extremely responsive, keeping me updated through the entire process. When the body work was done, there was an issue with the rear window where it kept rolling down on its own. I was able to take the car into Tesla to fix that problem and Tony was able to get it covered by filing a supplemental claim with my insurance. Hai Tech does great work. I wouldn't be coming back over the years if they didn't.

But the stand out was that the repair was above and beyond the expected. For a neighborhood shop they service their community extremely well and are efficient in Vietnamese and English. Usually when you look for a mechanic, you want one that will turn you away more than they reel you in, and that is exactly how Andy runs their shop. He knows I have an aging car so we often discuss what is worth and not worth fixing at this point in time. On the rare occasion that he does have to repair my car beyond a routine oil change, he would go out of his way to inspect other areas as a courtesy (complimentary) that other shops would charge diagnostics for. It's a shame that there are some old complaints in these reviews because this shop has been a pillar of the community. Opened around the time I was born actually, so to claim that they are "out to get people" is disingenuous, it is clear that being open for 3 decades and counting means they are in it for the long haul - their reputation is all they have. I'm sure if there were some misunderstandings, speaking with them instead of running to Yelp would solve every issue. I'm just glad I got a mechanic I can rely on which is hard to come by nowadays!

Although it has stock: exhaust, exhaust manifolds, intake manifold, and a Rochester carburetor, it does have a slightly spicy cam. It's just never felt that fun to drive. Bob rebuilt the carburetor and found an issue with the kick down switch not engaging, he also resolve a few other issues. It has never run this good, and is really fun to drive now. The throttle response is amazing. This must be what it felt like in 1970 off the dealer lot. Worth every penny, which when calculating rebuild kit and other parts, trouble shooting, labor and an excellent outcome, it's an excellent deal. Thanks Bob!

I was involved in a car accident that damaged both my front bumper and left fender. Repair required challenging repainting. My uncle referred me to the Benson Auto Body. When I came to Benson and talked to Brandon (the manager) about my situation. He gave me such an excellent combination of service and price deal. He's very honest, friendly to talk to and not trying to up sell you. If any of you guys are looking for a good auto body shop, take it to this one. They have been around for a long time and continue to do wonderful jobs. You will not be disappointed. I'm still mesmerized by my bumper today because it's soooo shiny and look like brand new! I've just involved in an accident. I tow my car to Benson Auto body for repair recently. The customer service here is awesome. Brandon is the manager there and he helped me out alot when dealing with the insurance and the rental. He is very nice and friendly. Also, The car came out excellence. I just have my car repair here recently due to a hit and run accident. The car came out great after the repair. Although it's take a little bit longer than expected, but i'm really happy to have the car back looking brand new. I love how they treat you here, very nice and professional.
