A December 2025 fender-bender incident with our Toyota RAV4 was quickly and professionally corrected to my complete satisfaction by the Marina Auto Body service center in Huntington Beach. The facility is very clean, staff professional and attentive, and communications regarding repair status is timely and correct. Technical representative Lewis Bui is courteous, patient, technically-knowledgeable, and speaks with commitment representing facility schedules, materials availability, and repairs completion forecasting. Lewis was always available by phone, email, or texting to provide status of repair updates and completion target progress. He also interfaced directly with our insurance provider, and provided requested documentation regarding estimate updates related to hidden structural damage and a car rental extension authorization. The repaired vehicle was presented on-time, repairs as listed, and the repaired areas of the vehicle and the paint coatings applied demonstrated excellent form, fit, and cosmetic outcomes. Further, the vehicle had been fully-detailed and expertly cleaned both inside and out. The vehicle also has a lifetime warantee on areas specifically repaired and painted, by this shop. My insurance sent me to Marina after I got rear ended. Once my drop off date was set I came in and the staff was very helpful and even drove me get my rental. The car came back great and everything went smoothly. I noticed 10 months later the paint on my tailgate had an issue. Took it back and they agreed the finish is not satisfactory. They were apologetic and got the issue resolved. I'm glad Marina stands by their work and fixed the problem and their staff is very accomodating and even drove me to and from work. read more

So massively over charged my insurance company that my car was determined to be a total loss. They listed multiple items to be replaced that were not even damaged. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I was referred here because my insurance covers 'Toyota original parts,' and this shop was supposed to provide quality service. However, after my repair in late May, I've noticed several issues. It's now October, and my bumper is misaligned with visible gaps in a couple of places. When I brought this up, they claimed I must have backed into something or been hit, refusing to guarantee their work and directing me back to my insurance. I haven't had any accidents, and I'll be sharing photos so you can judge for yourself. As you can clearly see from the photos, there isn't even a single scratch to suggest it's been hit, not even lightly. And this is a bumper! I took my Denali to EXPERTEC AUTO for a oil change. It had been in some sort of an accident while it was there. Roy took the responsibility and took it to Marina Auto Body to have it repaired. This is a 2015 Denali with 62,000, mi. It was in mint condition and garage kept. The dents were not removed, only filled with Bondo, an additional crease in the panel and the bumper was not fixed. I took it to a new Body Shop" they were appalled at the workmanship on my Denali. They marked everything that needs to be redone. It appears my original post is gone? I don't post here often so not sure how it works. This was never resolved by Marina Auto Body. I had to cancel an important DOCTOR APPT in order to get my car and not be charged an extra 2 days for the furnished rental car that the insurance company was paying for. If I did not make the call To Marina how would you have informed me that I must pick up my car on Friday at 4pm. Fyi Marina was not good keeping me informed. It became my job and really upset that I had to cancel my Dr. Visit at the last minute. Justin just didn't care. i made an appt to get an estimate on body work and paint for my truck. James Dean came out and he was very kind but I was very clear that I wanted both body work and paint and he said they don't usually do full body paint there. I then asked him to still please give me an estimate on just the body work without any paint. He agreed and went in and 30 minutes later had my quote ready and I saw that he added in paint to the estimate. I asked him why he added the paint to my estimate when I simply wanted body work and he said even though I'm going to get it fully painted a different color somewhere else they cannot leave it with just primer and would charge me for the silver paint because they can't leave it unpainted for me to go get it painted somewhere else. He said it was a standard at their company and I said well I was very clear with what I asked for and he agreed. He could have been upfront with me before I waisted 30 minutes of my time sitting there waiting for a quote I will not use because it is not what I asked for. Why would I pay for silver paint and labor if it when I'm getting my truck painted a completeIy different color. Nobody has a lot of time to waist. My insurance (AllState) recommended Marina Autobody. Despite being the holiday week and going out of town, with one phone call, Marina picked up the car and took it in for an estimate. I worked with Fernando Duron who was the estimator, coordinated everything with the insurance and managed the repair work. I could not be more happier. Fernando had everything under control. He submitted all required estimates to the insurance and pushed for the repair to start quickly. He kept me up to date on the progress via email and phone calls. He was prompt to respond to my inquiries. With on-going automotive parts shortages due to COVID, he made sure that all parts where ordered and received with minimum delays. Amazingly, the work was finished and my car was ready for pickup very close to the original estimated finish date, despite the repair being quite complex. I discovered that the car was restored impeccably, being like new. After I took it home and rode it, I noticed some occasional rattle from suspension. I notified Fernando and he immediately arranged for me to come back for diagnostic. After a quick fix, the suspension was tune up and the noise was gone. I have taken my truck to Marina 3 times. The first two were outstanding. The third, not so much. They damaged my interior replacing the windshield. Then it was the wrong windshield. Took months to get it fixed. When I returned it for the final fix, we noticed damaged paint and since they painted it, they would be the only one who damaged the paint. It was like a piece of tape was painted over. Bill said they would take a look and he marked the area. The area still had the the marking ink when I picked it up. I would give a zero if it is an option. I am not sure how this place received such high ratings. I had a terrible experience with this auto body. I dropped off my vehicle for an estimate a week ago. I was told that I will receive a call for an estimate and appointment date to have my car fix. A week later, I still haven't heard from them. When I call to follow up, they completely lost the file. I spoke with Cindy, manager, she was completely rude and not helpful. Cindy makes no effort to make the situation better. This place is unreliable and shouldn't be trusted. read more

5-star review not because this business is infallible, but rather because of how they address any mistakes. After both my sister and my father had excellent experiences with body work done here, I recommended my girlfriend use Marina after a pothole on a freeway exit damaged the right side of her car. At first glance, the right front wheel was visibly warped and lost all of its air over night requiring us to get a tow. It took a few weeks to get the wheel changed which has become very apparent is no fault of the body shop, but rather a difficulty in procuring the after market wheels that are on the car. Despite Marina Auto Body having very little to no fault in the time delays, they discounted our repair a very generous amount. The day after receiving the car back, we drove it to Palm Springs and unfortunately discovered a growing crack in the right rear wheel. After receiving a call back within a half hour following our attempt to reach management, Tom was on the phone with his local contacts figuring out how to handle the situation. The crack could have been very minor and unnoticeable when Marina had possession of the car and subsequently expanded as we drove, or we may have not noticed a bump that caused it to crack during our drive to the desert. Rather than arguing this point, Marina Auto Body was focused on how they could help us. Whether or not Marina Auto Body has any fault in what happened is uncertain, but what is certain is that they will do everything to help their customers regardless of any obligation to do so. Tom proceeded to personally stay on top of the rest of our repair and keep us informed as it moved through the process. When it was all said and done, Marina Auto Body gave us the repair at their cost and they comped the tow from Palm Springs to Huntington Beach. There is no doubt they lost money on our business which we don't feel great about, but we hope to make up for it by making them our go-to auto repair shop. Got into a fender bender on a Tuesday. Insurance company recommended Marina auto body and got me in touch with them on a Thursday. They ordered the part and had me drop off my car the following Monday. They took me to get my rental and had my car ready as promised by Thursday. You can also leave your rental (if you go through Hertz) at the body shop and they take care of the return. I called to speak to Tom the owner but he was out for the day. Instead we got a call back from the office manager who apologized for the horrible service that I had gotten. She even admitted that what happened to me was unacceptable but was not able to offer me a legitimate reason why it happened and why it took so long to fix my car. She told me that like anything in life there were good days and bad days and that she was sorry that my situation fell in the bad. If you read my previous review, you will see that it wasn't a one time mishap, it was MULTIPLE TIMES!!!! It was COUNTLESS EMPTY PROMISES that dragged out for weeks!!!!! Marina auto body had PLENTY of times to right their wrong by actually putting the time into fixing my car and having it done by the time they kept promising me. But for what ever reason they had they just decided to put my car to the side and get to it when they wanted to get to it. Was it because I was a nice complacent Asian woman????? The office manager denies that would never be the reason but if that wasn't it then what is?????? She couldn't even give me a valid reason why Marina took so long to fix my car! Since I didn't get to speak to the owner Tom himself I am updating this review so that Tom you can understand the amount of frustration and inconvenience your company has caused my family. I honestly felt that my experience was a complete "switch and bait". I bring my car into a company that promises to give me an estimate/fix at a certain date but instead holds my car for hostage.
