My wife and I went here on a Sunday. The place was packed but there was plenty of seating. The building is very nice and the outdoor area is huge. I was greeted at with a smile and very helpful gentleman. My first beer was All Day long lager. It was just the right temperature and tasted great. My second beer was The Blessing. I have been to Bent Iron twice now. Once for the girl beer group I am in when we visited last year & this past month, 07/25 with my husband. My husband & I both enjoyed some flights outdoors. There is plenty of seating both outdoors & indoors as well. The staff is super friendly & helpful! The beers were alright they did have a big selection to choose from! Though I will agree with some reviews below, the audio may need some work. When we came for the girl group I am in it was on a night of trivia and being outdoors it was really hard to hear the host of trivia from outside. Other than that the experience was great! read more

What an amazing spot with even better staff and selection of beers!! I had a surprise party planned here in their private room a couple of weeks ago, and it went better than I even could've imagined. My husband was incredibly surprised, the staff did absolutely everything possible to accommodate us and make it the best day ever. One of the owners was even kind enough to help video the actual surprise of my husband and it was so perfect. From emailing and asking 100 questions to their event coordinator to executing the day itself. It went completely flawless. This is a family friendly brewery with a beautiful outdoors for family of all ages. I couldn't have picked a better place to hold a surprise party. All of our guests absolutely loved the beer and I can't wait to make this our new local spot that we go to all the time. If you drive far enough into the quieter corners of Hamilton, where the roads seem to forget what they were supposed to be doing, you will find Bent Iron Brewing. It rises up out of its surroundings like an idea that someone decided to make real. There is a large main room where people gather around long tables and a lovely sprawl of outdoor gardens and patio space that make you wish you had brought a boxed lunch and a less complicated life. I was there on a Friday afternoon for a work happy hour, which is to say I was in search of beer, conversation, and a brief reprieve from civilization. I found all three. The bar staff were cheerful and generous with their samples, a rare and beautiful trait in this day and age. The beer itself was good. Not the sort of good that you write poems about, but the kind that makes you nod, smile, and say you'll have another. A few leaned toward the bright and citrusy side, others were dark and patient, and all of them sat comfortably in the realm of above average. Thanks to the arcane laws of our state, Bent Iron cannot sell food. It feels like a joke, though not a particularly funny one. Still, people find a way. On my visit, groups arrived armed with pizzas, picnic baskets, and takeout bags. A food truck was parked nearby, though its operators seemed to believe that time was infinite. The line was long enough to make you rethink your life choices. None of that, of course, was the brewery's fault. Out on the patio, a man with an acoustic guitar was singing to the crowd. His heart was in the right place, but his amplifier was not. The sound carried like a small engine running too long. We retreated indoors, where the air was cooler, the laughter thicker, and the beer easier to enjoy. Bent Iron Brewing is a bit of a drive into nowhere, but sometimes nowhere is exactly where you want to be. The beer may not change your life, but the place itself might remind you that good company and an honest drink can make an evening worthwhile. It earns four stars, and the promise that I'll return the next time the week has worn me down and the world needs to be softened by foam and laughter. read more

There is always some kind of food truck parked outside and more times than not there is multiple bands or artists playing there on a given weekend. Bent Iron is a wonderful space that gives off winery vibes due to the expansive outdoor space looking over large fields, and the rustic and modern indoor space with an area that can be sectioned off for private parties. My girlfriend and I visited for the first time on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed. For most of the afternoon, every table was taken. There were a ton of babies and little kids. We each had a flight and a pint, and I really enjoyed everything I had. There was a great variety of beer including IPA's, a farmhouse grisette, a winter warmer, an imperial porter and an imperial stout. Plus two hard seltzers and a cherry smoothie sour. The bartenders were very friendly, and there was a food truck parked outside, and overall it was a very pleasant afternoon with good beer. My only complaint is the price. The total bill for two flights (4x4 oz pours) and two pints (12oz) + tax + standard 20% tip came to $65.26. We have been to 60 breweries all over NJ and this is hands down the most expensive one we've ever been to. While the beer is good and the experience was nice, I'm afraid the price will keep us from coming back in the future. read more

I attended Art All Night at the beautiful War Memorial in Trenton today. Bent Iron Brewery was the sole purveyor of excellent beers ( according to my friends who sampled what they had on tap at the event). I loved their fruity seltzer, and particularly appreciated the perfect customer care. Dave and Jack delighted attendees. I just checked their website, it is astonishing to see the well curated variety of events they have posted on their easy to navigate site. I cannot wait to visit this beautiful property, a stone throw away from capital city. We had our work holiday party here in December. Nicole was always easy to touch base with. Both Nicole and her husband Dave were present when a few of us arrived early to set up. We were helped with decorations and the food as well. Nicole stayed awhile after the party began. Dave stayed the entire time. The holiday decorations that were in place throughout the brewery really got us in the holiday spirit. The fire pits added to the ambiance. It was a chilly night but many of us traveled outside to enjoy their warmth awhile. Ryan was our busser and did a great job. Jack and Matt were our bartenders, assisting with adding even more spirit to our celebration. They played a solid playlist and took our requests. The drink selections are awesome.
