We decided to have a little date night here on a Friday afternoon. It is a great place to hang out, catch up with a friend, and enjoy some entertainment. The lines were super short and the employees were very nice. The best part, I think, is that there is something to drink for every person in your group! They had a plethora of fun-named beers on tap, THC drinks, and their house made root beer was fantastic. We decided to bring our own food (some delicious Vitta Pizza) to eat with our delicious drinks. They did have a food truck outside and they also have a couple snacks, like pretzels, for purchase at the bar. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We sat by the fire and learned a new board game. Very cute brewery. Highly recommend.

Expensive beers, but I love the vibe of this place and that you can bring food in to eat.

Stopped by on my way out of town to try their THC seltzers. I'm familiar with their beer and have visited before, but wanted to try their new canna beverages. I had the puff pineapple dragonfruit 10mg which the staff member explained was a sparkling water, similar to a lacroix. He was spot on. It was refreshing after a day of hiking. Also, love the can design. I brought my dog who received TWO treats from the brewery staff - lucky dog! Their patio lawn was awesome and they had dog bowls and water for the dogs who came. It wasn't very busy so this was a very relaxing experience for both me and my dog (who can get antsy being on a leash). Ended up buying two 4-packs of the canna beverages. The puff cloudberry dragonfruit and the Hightrend Mary Jane's mule (I've had this before and it's my fav!! It tastes just like a Moscow mule). They gave me a punch card, buy 10 4-packs get the 11th free. I've always liked this brewery and their products so next time I'm in Duluth, they'll be seeing me!

Delicious brews, chill ambiance, nice location. I really appreciate that they offer a flight option - great choice to try a number of beers without overcommitting to one you may not like. I really liked the sour and light lager, and my husband really enjoyed trying all the porter and stout options. Highly recommend!

We were in Duluth for an afternoon and this was one of our stops! My husband got an IPA and I got a nitro stout, both very solid beers but nothing unique enough to make me crave to go back to this place. I wish they had some slightly more adventurous beers - maybe even some sours? They do have THC seltzers which we didn't try. The ambience itself is very cool - love that they have table games inside as well as board games to play. Also - love the inside fireplace and the patio area (although the view of the construction on the Highway could be nicer). Cool spot in the city and would go back Ambience, service and product

I met my friend Ryan W. here for drinks. We had a great time drinking for nearly two hours and at least a couple rounds. It is a comfy spot with a neat vibe that was comfortable for conversation and for drinking. They have a wifi, which was useful as I was unusually early and spent some time writing a Yelp review or two and working out where I would be heading in the van tonight (the Walmart in Superior allows overnight parking) and tomorrow (you'll just have to wait for those). We stopped by to grab a drink while waiting for the popular nearby OMC Smokehouse. This place was super clean and excellently run and designed. I loved the huge open area, with tons of seating options indoors and outdoors. We settled on a giant cozy curved booth, but they had an even cozier place right by the fireplace that I'd love to sit at next time. I tried the Wilderness Tuxedo (Sour Ale) and it was fantastic. The staff was attentive, precise and made sure to keep the tables clean. Very pleased with our brief stop, can't wait for my next visit.

We stopped in here to try the beer. They don't serve food but allow it to be brought in. There are several restaurants close by. I had the Blimey beer, an English pale ale. This is a great pale ale that goes down easy. I really liked it. The servers are knowledgeable about the beer but out experience was that it would be hard to go wrong. Great place!

Bright open-air feel; friendly and helpful staff; amazing beer! After tasting the beer at a local restaurant, I wanted to stop in and grab some to go. Even though I was just getting a quick can on the run I was greeted and treated like a VIP. I bought a 26 oz crowler (fat aluminum can) for about $10. Great value for some really tasty beer. I'm looking forward to returning when I can sit for a while with my wife and enjoy the atmosphere and more brews. I saw games available to play and the seating was not cramped. There was an outdoor area with a stage (not in use) for music. A food truck was setting up out on the street.

I stopped for a beer , the beer is ok, nothing to get excited about, the ambiance was ok, nice on a cold day with the fireplace! The music was not loud, but, rap is not my thing and it got to be to much, moving on ! The service was slow, and the place was not busy! No TV's, not a place for sports fans!

Drinks, followed by poutine 5 minutes later, then food about 10 minutes after that. We were all done within 30 minutes! The food was fantastic, too. Delicious poutine, with oozy gooey squeaky cheese curds. I had the smoked fish salad; it had the right amounts of everything and felt like a distinctly Duluth dish. My husband had the fish and chips. I had a bite of his fish, and it was perfect, with great batter and flavor. I would happily come here again on a visit. I can see why this is a city institution.

When we arrived a bit after 7PM, we had quite some trouble finding parking and ended up having to park a couple of blocks away after circling for 20 minutes. Walking in, the place wasn't too busy, perhaps 50% capacity. We were interested in ordering the fried cheese curds, but the server told us they weren't battered in house, so we passed on them. Smoked Fish Salad (Market Price, $18.99) - This is a pretty salad - all ingredients are arranged in rows along the dish. Mixing things together is a bit of a pain, but I appreciate the dressing on the side to add to preference. The dressing is an interesting blend of mayo and other ingredients, perhaps BBQ sauce, that make it slightly tangy and very sweet. There's an undertone of smokiness throughout, which tastes somewhat like liquid smoke rather than the dressing actually being smoked. It is on the sweeter side of dressings. Other than greens, there's a row of wild rice, dark and snappy, completely broken cultivated rice. There's also a bit of house smoked trout, nice and smoky. (4/5) Classic Wild Rice Burger ($16.99) - This is one of the tallest burgers I've seen in quite a while, mostly due to the inclusion of fresh vegetables including onion and tomato, and alfalfa sprouts. For some reason instead of using larger tomatoes, they use small roma tomatoes, including three small slices. They also used red onion that's chopped into a variety of different shapes instead of whole slices. It's really strange - I guess this saves on cost? Unfortunately smaller pieces means things fall out while eating. The patty is larger than the bun. It has plenty of broken wild rice bits giving some additional crunch and that signature wild rice taste. It's charred on the griddle well and it keeps its structure, not falling apart or becoming mushy at any point. I love how it's distinctively a rice burger and doesn't try to be a meat substitute. Two slices of American cheese are melted on top that gives some fattiness to the dish. The bun is toasted without butter and there's a flavorful garlic mayo spread on the top. It would be nice if they had also applied the sauce to the bottom bun as I found the patty to not have enough moisture or fat incorporated. The burger comes with some thin commercial fries. There aren't any issues with the level of fry and they are otherwise unremarkable. (4/5) Fitger's Brewhouse serves some solid good old fashioned Midwestern American food. Not much else to say. Bathrooms - Larger ones shared with the rest of the business in the building Food: [4/5] Service: [ ] Other: [ ] Final Rating: 4/5

Bent Paddle's mission is to create a unique craft beer experience while also being sustainable for the business, employees, environment, and community. And they deliver on it all. I got a flight to enjoy some of their more limited offerings. Munchin Pretzels: An Oktoberfest beer brewed with traditional German Malts and Hops. I get toasted bread malt character with a bit of sweetness, but rounded out by a hop bitterness. The malt profile is definitely the forefront and I wished I had a pretzel to go with it. Infinity Stuf: An Oatmeal Stout that they went all out with 100 pounds of Oreos. Nutty oatiness, chocolate, and medium fullness. I appreciate it not being a Pastry Stout, but still get lots of Oreo character. A Beer of Their Own: A Hoppy Pale Ale brewed in collaboration with a Bar Of Their Own in the Twin Cities. Tropical fruit forward - primarily melon and cantaloupe, with a nice finish. Stratarado: A Hoppy Pale Ale brewed with Strata and El Dorado (get the name?).
