I haven't been to bento in a minute and thought I'd stop by for some sushi! This is a great location with a ton of seating inside so you can always bet on being able to eat in if you want to. I started off with a green tea boba and I wasn't the biggest fan as it wasn't very sweet at all. I feel it needed to be a little more sweet and that's coming from someone that hates sweet drinks so that says something. I ordered two different sushi rolls the rainbow roll and another creative roll. I honestly really enjoyed both rolls and it was a ton of food. I'd say the rainbow roll was a bit better just because I prefer that style of roll and would normally be my goto at sushi spots. I'd definitely recommend both of them though if you want two different ones. Glad I stopped by and can't wait to stop by again soon read more

"'Total $h!t show" somehow still feels too generous. We came in for lunch today after seeing this place on my inKind app, genuinely excited to try something new. We were greeted promptly, which I'll give them credit for--but it felt less like hospitality and more like everyone was collectively participating in a low-energy dress rehearsal of what service might look like. We attempted to order at the kiosk, only to discover (after waiting, of course) that if you're paying with inKind, you must order with a cashier. This crucial detail is revealed only by a tiny sign on the kiosk itself--so naturally, you find out after committing to the wrong line. A simple sign at the entrance would solve this, but that would deprive future guests of the scavenger hunt experience. At the register, things really began to blossom. I mentioned using a birthday reward for free wok rice. This required a consultation with a manager, who advised entering my phone number--confidence was high, clarity was not. We proceeded. We then played a quick round of "Will we receive cups today?" (spoiler: almost no), followed by "Spot the Incorrect Charge" on the receipt. The wok rice was indeed charged. When I pointed it out, I was assured it had been deducted--despite basic math suggesting otherwise. At this point, I trusted my calculator more than the system. Next stop: the soda machine. Or rather, the soda crime scene. Drinks tasted... experimental. One nozzle was missing entirely, resulting in a surprise splash feature. It felt less like self-serve and more like a trust exercise. To her credit, the employee helping us was kind--clearly trying, but significantly undertrained. She offered a bottled drink as a solution, which I accepted as a peace treaty. Just as we sat down--hopeful, fragile, naive--the manager summoned me back to the register. I declined, citing a strong desire to finally eat food. They insisted. So back I went. Now a third employee entered the storyline, unaware of what was happening, asking me to recount the entire saga like I was submitting evidence in a trial. The manager stood nearby, contributing mainly vibes. At this point, I was informed that rewards cannot be used with inKind--information that would have been spectacularly useful before we attempted to use one, consulted a manager, and completed the transaction. The refund process itself was a masterpiece of confusion. At one point, I was asked if we had eaten the wok rice. We had not. Then someone else asked if we had eaten noodles. A different employee confidently stated that I was, in fact, currently eating it. I paused to consider whether I had entered an alternate reality. Eventually, refunds were issued. I returned to the table to eat what can only be described as a very modest $15 sushi roll. But the experience was not yet complete. An employee clearing a nearby table wiped toward us, launching food debris in our direction like a finale. At this stage, I genuinely scanned the room for hidden cameras. It felt less like dining and more like immersive theater. Throughout all of this, the manager appeared largely disengaged--occasionally present, frequently on her phone, and consistently uninvolved. Leadership was notably absent, which unfortunately explained everything else. We will not be returning. Not out of anger, but out of a deep respect for our own sanity. read more

My husband and I have been dining at this location for a few years, and at our latest visit, it was evident there has been some wonderful changes! Everything is so convenient, from ordering at one of the two kiosks - the software is extremely user friendly and provided an opportunity to easily digest all of the food and drink options available. We found new things in the menu to try, including the crispy onigiri and crispy chicken bao bun. Both were delightfully crispy and flavorful, however we were disappointed to find the chicken in the bai bun to be a sauced chicken patty, and not the crispy karaage chicken from the appetizers. Would definitely try the bao bun again if you switched the chicken patty to a few pieces of karaage. We both got 2-protien poke bowls. My husband has a few allergies-pork and tuna being some of them, and this location is so good with not causing cross- contamination with his tuna allergies. We really enjoyed the new sauces and tried the eel and hamachi. I never finish my bowl, and usually have to ask for a to-go container, but they added a to-go box area with chopsticks and condiments, making it so convenient to finish my meal at home, without having to disrupt the prep line. We already enjoyed dining at Bento Davie, but the new upgrades made our visit so pleasant and convenient. Thank you! read more

Craving for Asian food and decided to try this place. It's not disappointing. The sushi roll is delicious and made from fresh ingredients. My son try their chicken katsu on top of fried noodles. The chicken is juicy and the noodles is very tasty. We do self-order over the counter and take the number. The staff then deliver the food to us. The service is quick. There are plenty of seating inside the restaurant and they also have outdoor seating area. All the condiments and utensils are available on the side near the fountain drink machine. Bento is a great stop for fast dining. Their service is very fast, and they bring your food out to your table, which makes it feel less like fast food. I went on a Tuesday evening, and it was somewhat empty, which I prefer over busy afternoons. We got the pao pao bowl and poke bowl. Both great staples and a perfect amount of food for one sitting. We tried the spicy bao for the first time, and while they were nice and crispy (both the chicken and the bao) I found it wasn't spicy at all. The portion sizes are great, the food is always hot and fresh, they have great deals. They have food for everyone, carnivores and plant people alike. Absolutely love this location. I've eaten here three or four times in just the past two weeks. Wonderfully fresh, delicious vegan and vegetarian options. My friends loved their shrimp and chicken bowls. And the kids enjoyed their tofu. This time we ordered the family meal which came with side salad and ginger dressing, 4 bowls. Got the food and there was one tiny little packet of soy sauce really all this food one little tiny packet of soy sauce you think you could've spared some.. then there was no chopsticks. I had to eat the seaweed salad with my fingers. Also, a little bit more than a pee size piece of wasabi would've been great. The roads are not bad. The Uber eats was great, but I gotta say the attention. The details is very lacking. Wow! I am at an absolute loss for words. I ordered takeout of 30 different bowls. First off, when I called to check on my order, the girl spent literally five minutes searching for my order. That was a bit concerning because I imagine they don't have a ton of $500 orders coming in the middle of the day. They were also pretty unaccommodating when I asked for a simple request for my order. Finally, when the poke bowls arrived, it was an embarrassingly small amount of fish in each bowl. They should be ashamed to provide these portions especially for someone who is giving them a good amount of business. They didn't even pack napkins! Absolutely shameful. A modern twist of Asian takeout food. They have Japanese curries, sushi, poke bowls, Chinese, and even Korean dishes. Lots of different things to choose from but I normally just get a poke bowl. Dining inside is very nice with their signature red and black color scheme. I've been going my to Bento since they first opened in Gainesville and glad they have a location in south Florida. Lots of seating inside and shocking hasn't been overcrowded even during lunch time so it's not a long wait to get your food. It's kind of confusing your first time eating in because you just leave your trash on the table and a staff member will clean your table. The plaza is kind of busy so it's hard to find parking in front of the restaurant but nothing too far. read more

The restaurant was a mess, flickering lights and the soda and water self serve area was closed off. We don't notice until we ordered and paid. Instead of fixing the mistake, they tried to charge me again for the same meal I had already paid for and waited extra long for. At that point, I left. Decently easy to find parking but this center is always packed. As soon as you walk in you can find menus and hop into line. We were lucky and there was no line for us. I saw Hawaiian Suns while walking to the register and I could have cried I was so happy. While living in Hawai'i we were too obsessed with this flavor and I was SO excited to be able to have it again. The strawberry guava tastes exactly the same as usual and I could've died happy. I also noticed the lychee boba and had to try it as well. It did not disappoint but it is very sweet as a green tea. Boba wasn't hard, but instead it was nice and squishy. After finding a table, the roll and poke bowls were brought out to us. I wanted the bamboo roll because it was honestly one of the only options without cream cheese. I've never seen so many cream cheese options on a roll menu before. Too many. The roll was good because of the tuna and shrimp tempura with the avocado, but the rice was extremely dry. The rice in both of our bowls was extremely dry as well. My boyfriend ordered the Hawaiian bowl and it was delicious, since his fish was marinated with everything. My bowl was good because the salmon itself was fresh, but I would have preferred a marinated salmon with spicy mayo on top. The spicy mayo came in a packaging that I knew I would mess up the moment it was set on the table. Which did happen, but the sauce was still good. I liked that you could choose a few additions and toppings for custom poke bowls. Overall it was a good, quick dinner in a friendly and clean environment. If you are in the area and are craving some thing Asian, this is the spot for you! I've been here before and usually get the bento box, but today I decided to have something different. I decided to try the Shanghai lo mein noodles with chicken as my protein. My dish was amazing, it was not spicy and the ingredients blended so well. My girlfriend had the Pad Thai and she liked hers too, but said that mine tasted better. I will have to agree with her on that observation. Now I usually get a combo when I come over but today their soda machine was down and I was told that due to to that, they could not give me a combo, which consists of a fountain drink and a side. I wish that they could have accommodated us with still giving us the combo options but substitute the fountain drink with a bottle drink. I hope to have a better experience the next time I come by. read more

I frequently order the Pao Pao tofu bowl and haven't really had a good time. The bowl flavoring is pretty good, but not as good as before. In addition, I have recently been getting more trouble with my stomach after eating here. I do enjoy the boba teas here and started to order the lychee slush with honey boba. My go to choices are the pao pao shrimp with noodles or sushi. That pao pao sauce is basically bang bang sauce but so much more addicting, especially in their super crispy shrimp tempura. Everything is pretty affordable and quick service. Things I'm not so much a fan of are their boba and the fact that there's no booth seating.
