Came in for a quick lunch, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The food came out at different times, so we weren't able to eat together. The soup was awful--I took two bites, let the server know, and they apologized and took it away. That was it. They didn't offer a replacement, suggest something else, or remove it from the bill. The rest of the food was subpar, and the sushi was falling apart. Overall, a very disappointing experience. We won't be back. read more

The food was so yummy. Abd very filling. I got the hibachi with rice and and tofu and loved the tofu. Crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The sauce was super flavorful too. Very strong garlic flavor (delicious) but if you're on a date with a vampire, you might want to order something else. The staff was good. Went here for a dinner date with my friend. We both ordered a steak and shrimp hibachi bowl. They brought out my friends food with mushrooms when she had asked for none. They took it back to the kitchen.They then brought both our meals. After taking a few bites of the fried rice ONLY with yum yum sauce mixed in, i realized it was missing shrimp. I informed the waitress. She took my bowl, i told her it was ok she could just give me the shrimp, but she still took it back to the kitchen. After about two minutes the manager Alexis comes out and says "there was shrimp in there when we gave you that bowl" i was confused and asked what she meant. She repeated and said "there was shrimp in that bowl. I have video to prove it" i then told her there wasn't shrimp, that i had barely even taken a few bites at all and to please pull up the video. Then the chef handed her my bowl and told her he PUT IT BACK ON THE GRILL AND ADDED SHRIMP. He put food that i had taken a few bites out of BACK on the public grill. She then told him and the waitress they shouldn't do that. The chef then told her that there WASNT shrimp when it went out. She then told the waitress that "her fat ass ate it", referencing me and why she was saying i had already eaten it. I then became upset, and told her i wanted to see the video to prove that there wasn't shrimp. She then told me the camera was broken. I continued pointing out the fact that the chef even told her, and that she had said there was video proof. I then said "i don't even want the food. I just want you to apologize for calling me a liar." She kept telling me there was shrimp when she gave it to me. There absolutely was not. I have never had an experience like this at a restaurant. I genuinely only leave good reviews. Also, she called the cops on me because i kept asking for her to apologize, i will admit i was upset about the body comment and being called a liar. Bentoooo okay okayyy. There's nothing fancy shmancy about this place but they are right where it's at when it comes to getting her done! They have great staple dishes like udon noodles, fried rice bowls, sushi rolls and some great choices for appetizers! Kids eat free on Mondays and they have like a happy hour situation 2-5 on weekdays. I usually get California, chicken, tuna rolls and a Vietnamese coffee with ube foam and it smacks every time. I didnt see menu (until after) so i ordered on app (needed to see images of food before ordering - with someone who is disabled). Super fresh , made to order. Mongolian platter was incredible. Pad thai good with a little kick of heat. Crab rangoons good. Loved the taro cookie drink. Nice music (though a bit loud). I did not like the flavor to red curry but thats my preference. Amazing fast food Asian spot! I had the Thai curry and it was spot on - loved the flavors! The noodles were also a hit. This Bento is in Pembroke Pines at the plaza by Palm Ave and Pines Blvd, right by the UFC gym. Bento reminds me of college and the trek we'd make to get Bento anytime we were in Gainesville. Now that it's close to home, I don't make it out here too often, although it's super close to me. Bento is pretty expensive now and the service is usually just okay but this past visit, it was super friendly as soon as we walked in, even just for pick up. The quality is okay, especially considering the price but I will always love their Pao Pao sauce for a bowl and will also get their poke bowls from time to time. This location is super clean and spacious. They even have wifi available here, which I love. If you like Bento and are looking for a quick bite of Asian food, this is a pretty good place to stop by! read more

Located on Pines Blvd just west of Palm, this Bento is pretty large and also pretty quiet. Came in around 6pm on a Tuesday and I was the only person there. The store looks like it can accommodate a lot of people and good for large groups. The young man who took my order was friendly and helpful. I was looking at two different bowls and wanted to use the sauce in one on the content of another but was told they don't customize or mix bowls like that. My order was ready in a pretty quick time frame. While it was a decent size portion, the food had a weird combination of areas with some ok taste and no taste at all if that makes sense. This was our first time at Bento and the woman who took our order didn't take the time to explain choices and was not helpful at all. We ordered a Bento box, a bowl and two drinks and our total was $50. I thought this was VERY expensive for chicken meals with a vitamin water & beer. The fried rice in my bowl was inedible. It was SO salty. Hours later laying in bed I could still taste the salt from the fried rice. The chicken katsu in my bowl was good but tasted like frozen chicken made in an air fryer. The green beans were very good. I had a severe stomach ache after eating here. We left over half of our meal and did not take any leftovers due to the quality. The restaurant was empty and they only had a few to go orders yet the tables were dirty (not cleaned). Overall it was very underwhelming. read more

After attending a networking event, I decided to place a quick order for my favorite signature sushi roll, Hot Lava. It was a quiet environment with barely anyone there. I had a reward to redeem that requires you to have the cashier enter it, which is annoying since I like to order ahead on the app to get in and out quickly. Previous times the cashier has been able to ring it up so so could use it with my order. This go round the lady acted confused and bothered. And when she asked who I assumed was a manager they didn't bother to really review, just said they can't enter it now. I stated it was done for me before but she walked away... Now to see that the recipe for my favorite roll was changed to no longer have the scallops which was part of the reason I fell in love with it, I'm under impressed with the whole visit after a brief hiatus. Bento is a go to take out staple for me during the week for lunch. I really love their pow pow noodles with shrimp, but when I want to go for chicken, I really love the wok fried rice. The Shanghai lo mein is also an old reliable. This little triangle offense rotation is my starting lineup during work days. They always include extra sauce when requested and they have delicious Boba teas to accompany the meals. The food always arrives quickly and is very fresh. When you actually go into the restaurant, which I do sometimes, it's very clean and a great atmosphere. Not too cold, music isn't too loud. The staff is also extremely friendly and prices are fair for what you get in this market. Great spot with hardworking staff! I've seen some negative reviews, but honestly, I think a lot of that is unfair. This place on Palm & Pines is run by local teens who are balancing school and work--and doing a great job at it. There's also an older gentleman in the kitchen (maybe the chef?) who's always there and clearly dedicated. The whole team is polite, helpful, and provides great customer service. Is it pricy? A little but what isn't these days? Don't let the negative comments fool you--go check it out for yourself. It's refreshing to see young people working hard and staying on the right path. The emoyees who helped us were very nice and the restaurant was very clean but I'm afraid the food just wasn't very good. This time I had the Mangolian beef with lo mein and my husband had the beef szechuan with white rice. To begin with, the quality of beef just didn't taste very good, more like a cheaper cut of meat. The veggies were good and the lomein was good but there was a lot of oil in the bottom of my bowl. My husband's meal was just ok, nothing special and mostly rice.
