    Hanging with Bento Mom
    Cathy B.

Among the best sushi I've ever had. The Boston Roll was off the charts. Don't miss the dumplings. Delicious and sublime. They even make their own soy sauce. Bento Mom is so warm and welcoming. Bento Dad is the sushi master.

Sooooo yummy and mama bento is amaazinggggg. Such a sweet and kind woman. She even Prayed over me and my partner. What a blessing!!

mama bento is absolutely phenomenal and the food is amazing. What a blessing to have such a kind and caring person as the face of this wonderful family owned business. 19 years strong!

Delish sushi, tea, and dumplings. My parents used to take me here as a kid and finally came back after years and it's just as good as I remember.

Bento roll sushi roll SOOOOOOO SMALLLLLLLL 13.95 & 14.95

I got a bento roll & a California roll, $38 dollars. $13.95 & 14.95 plus the delivery fee which still makes this extremely expensive & you barely get any food. I'm so disappointed because I called & was just told, "this is just how it goes" the quality wasn't good, & the quantity isn't enough for one person either. Unsatisfied with the food & customer service.

We had come late at 2 pm and the restaurant closed at 3 pm for lunch. Mia made sure I got my orders in before 2:45 pm when they stop taking orders for AYCE meal purchases for lunch time. There is an additional fee if you don't finish all the food on your plate for AYCE purchases to prevent wasting food & money and to keep prices low. The place was quiet despite having customers at a late time. Loved all the booth seating there and interior decor. It was a mix of modern design & Asian style. Very comfortable, clean, and spacious restaurant. Bathrooms were clean, chic, & modern style Large television screens in the restaurant. One of the televisions had cartoons on it - for children I guess. I selected the AYCE sushi for $27. First order was two sushi rolls: The Christmas roll and Ola sushi roll. The Christmas roll had raw salmon, avocado, masago, and tobiko. The Ola roll had eel, crab, cream cheese, and cucumber. I also two single white tuna sushi, 2 single masago sushi, and 2 single tobiko sushi. It was splendidly displayed on a wooden dragon platter. Despite being full, I ordered a second round of sushi to sample food items I never had: 1 tofu skin sushi, 1 mackerel sushi, and 1 yellowtail sushi. Plus two pieces of takoyaki or fried octopus balls. My husband ordered hibachi shrimp fried rice and said it was delicious. We both ordered Diet Coke. I made a mental note about how I should have skipped meals for two days instead of one before coming here for AYCE. Total price along with two drinks was $43. Not including tips for our server and the sushi chefs. They do give military discount with ID. Definitely a go see restaurant for great Japanese cuisine and AYCE. If you go for the AYCE meal deal, try skipping 2-3 meals and eat it on an empty stomach.

Really wish we didn't order so much everything was terribly low quality and tasted poorly. Spicy tuna and spicy yellowtail had an odd texture as if they cut it with something in order for it to go further. Yakisoba needed more sauce and seasoning it was super bland. Rolls had tons of imitation crab and tasted bland. Nothing was fresh. For all the nigiri and sashimi, it tasted so bland and lacked freshness that we actually needed to chop it up and turn it into poke just to make it edible. We tossed it in a ponzu sauce over rice and with all the toppings made it decent just to stomach it. Total was $94 for everything and I don't have one good thing to say. Will not be back at all.

From the moment we sat down everything was on point -- the food, the service, the experience, all of it. There was not a single moment where anything fell short and that is genuinely rare. The food was incredible. Everything came out exactly as it should -- fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The whole hibachi experience just never gets old and Sake does it better than most. You're not just having dinner, you're having a full on experience. The staff made the whole night even better. Attentive, fun, and clearly passionate about what they do. It all just came together seamlessly. If you're in the Woodbridge area and you haven't been to Sake yet you are seriously missing out. This is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Absolutely stellar from start to finish.

After being seated around 8 PM, we didn't see a cook until about 9 PM. During that time, we even had to flag down waitstaff just to get water. I also failed to mention that while we were waiting in the bar area, I ordered an appetizer and they bought me out the wrong thing. I ordered the steamed shrimp shumai and they bought me out fried shrimp shumai. When I asked the waitress about this, she said she didn't know why and that was all she said. I understand it was Valentine's Day and things can be busy, so I tried to be patient. However, the restaurant didn't appear overly crowded, and it was disappointing to see three tables who arrived after us receive a cook before we did. To top it off, there was an automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill, which may explain the lack of attentiveness we experienced. I'd be open to giving this place another try, but probably not on a holiday.

The interior is small but a lot of their customers order take-away. They are located in an industrial area so that makes sense. I arrived at lunch time. No issues finding a park. I also picked up a shirt love. Dumplings filled and tasty. The miso soup was your standard fair. It did not have any tofu in it so that was a disappointment. I would definitely return to try their breakfast options.

Eggs & Sushi is one of those hideouts and if you're not careful, might end up eating 7k calories before you leave. You'll only know this place exists if you live or work in the Lorton area where Eggs & Sushi stands firm. If not for Google Maps, you may drive on by without a thought. I stopped because their simple sign but just some quirky in a strange way caught my eye and it's in the middle of a warehouse street where you would not expect food places to be. Surprisingly, there are always little cafes in these kind of places that feed the immediate workers there. They are sometimes the hidden gems nobody will hear about unless you work in that area. This is one of them. Walking in, it feels like a small diner, yellow walls, lots of menu above the grill area displayed on multiple screens, properly lit dining area. They take orders at the end and at a kiosk as well. Window seats, couple of tables, and some bar seats also. Seems simple enough but this place is the ultimate trap for the hungry. Be careful! When you look up, you realize they have a vast menu and varied in the most fantastic way. You have your generic American style food, eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, sandwiches, coffee, smoothie, an all day breakfast menu. Then you keep walking around to look at the menu, you see sushi, rolls, poke bowls, ramen, some dons, etc. You might think, hmm, they might be overloaded on the menu. Wrong! They make fantastic sandwiches! Smaller not overpriced ramen but with lots of oomph flavor! These guys bring the umami and drip it like masters. The dons hit, the ramen hits, the sandwiches hit, and my all time favorite breakfast item, the elegantly simple French toast hits. They are serving hits here and only a few know about it. Service was adequate from their high school kid waiters. The owners at the grill are very friendly if you get a chance to interact with them. Just a very chill ambience. It's diner that makes me want to move to Lorton. If you find yourself here one day, be careful. The menu makes you want to try everything. I haven't touch everything yet so I'm definitely coming back to try more. I just hope all these reviews won't mean I can't find my cozy window seat in the future.

While waiting for my order, I politely asked how to operate the hot water dispenser so I could make a cup of tea. The manager responded by stating that she had put away everything customers normally have access to because the establishment was closing in approximately thirty minutes. Rather than explaining the situation professionally, the manager became argumentative and displayed aggressive behavior. Her tone and manner of communication were unwelcoming and inappropriate for a customer service environment. As a first-time customer, I felt dismissed and uncomfortable by the interaction. I understand that businesses may begin closing procedures before the official closing time; however, customers who are still being served should be treated with courtesy and respect. The manager's behavior did not reflect the level of professionalism that customers should expect when visiting a food establishment. I decided to visit a second time on June 15 because my son and I enjoyed the dumplings. As I was paying for our order, I asked the lady attending to us if Simka was indeed the manager. It's baffling to me that a person of that character would be managing employees or a food establishment. Simka questioned the cashier and turned at me to announce her thoughts about my return even with the unacceptable behavior she set in front of other customers. You have lost what could have been a loyal customer and may have many more.
