I've never written a complaint about an individual before, but today I had a really poor interaction with the barista girl with arm tattoos. There was a large order of seven drinks ahead of me, which she mentioned. No problem. After ordering one latte, I asked if she could restock the water cups so I could have some water while I waited. With a frown and attitude, she said she'd grab them after finishing the order she was on. I waited about 5 minutes, then came back when the very last customer in line was paying and I asked again. With even more attitude, she told me again she would after finishing the order, then grabbed some cups and stacked them in front of me without a word. No friendliness or apology. 15 minutes later, I noticed the other barista had finished all the drinks in the queue and was doing something else, but I still didn't have mine. When we asked her, we found out the barista with tattoos never wrote my latte into the queue! The other barista was super nice, apologized on their behalf, and made my drink right away. I see other reviews mention rude service here recently, and unfortunately I had the same experience. My family and I come here often, but I hope management takes steps to improve the customer experience. I feel hestitant to return if the barista with tattoos is working.

Had the amazing matcha latte lavender flavor. Was my first time so didn't have any taste/ flavor benchmark but it was good. The chocolate croissant was average. The space was cozy and service quick. They don't have plastic serveware and their fork still had food stuck on it. I pointed out and the server exchanged it. But I shouldn't be served dirty fork! Otherwise its a good brunch cafe

Service was kind and they have a good GF menu. They did run out of GF muffins when I got there which was disappointing but I'll be back to try it out. The place wasn't too crowded on a weekday afternoon so I was able to get some work done. I tried their latte with cardamom syrup (all their syrups are house made). I also for their Medina Panini with GF bread. They did warn me about cross contamination, which I didn't mind. The sandwich tasted divine. I love a warm turkey sandwich and it was delivered.

Bequest Coffee has a modern, bright interior that feels welcoming the moment you walk in. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, which added to the overall experience. The cappuccino came out smooth and well-balanced. A solid 7/10 and a good choice if you're in the area.

Nice little cozy cafe with friendly staff in the Mill Creek area. We visited on a weekday afternoon. While the place was busy, there were tables available. We ordered a Cortado and Hot Chocolate. Both of them were very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our drinks. We will definitely visit again.

Got a coupon for a 12 oz drink and got tiny 8 oz. Counter person took advantage of the teens that used the coupon. Not coming back.

I was trying to find a local spot with some good pastries and chai reviews. This place came up and I'm glad I got the opportunity to check it out. Walked in and was quickly greeted by the staff. Their display case had some yummy looking pastries but opted for their avocado toast. The weather was pleasant for a Fall day and we sat outside. It's a cool atmosphere outside. You grab your drink order at the bar and if you have any food, the staff will take it out to you. The chai was really good, I would definitely come back for another. The avocado toast tasted good but it wasn't a deal maker for me. Overall, great spot I'd try again and recommend!

I needed a quick bite with a nice caffeine boost. This place is popular location and easy to find. Togo options are available. Wait time is 10 to 15 mins. I would like to try more items from the menu. It can be a bit loud, not great acoustics if there's your thing.

Had a lovely time here! Met a friend for coffee and it was the perfect place to meet. It's quiet, cozy, great ambiance, and lots of seating. I went in the morning and it was busy but there was no line, which tells me that they are well organized! I got a decaf pumpkin latte and it was absolutely incredible. Just the right amount of sweetness and I loved the big mug I was able to enjoy it in at my table. They had a few gluten free pastries and I look forward to trying them another time. Definitely a great coffee shop with amazing seasonal drinks!

Better late than never. Found this place about a year ago. Came during showing homes, tried their Açaí bowl and latte. Small but cozy inside. Parking outside ( more in the back) Coffee was a ok the first time. But been coming back several times since. It's convenient meting my clients that live in the area. It does get busy. But you can find a place to sit usually. Unless it gets so busy, I go across to visible coffee but lattes are much better here.

Specials drink with cardamom and pistachio. Very good

Excellent coffee! Ok pastires. Not great breakfast sandwich. We tried the pastries last year and while creative flavors the puff pastry was way too blond. Puff pastry should not be pale - it should be golden brown. Recently I tried a breakfast sandwich and I have to say it was not good. The eggs need salt and pepper and the meat and cheese were flavorless. The bread needs butter for flavor. I would not get that again. But the coffee was amazing. I tried the pure joy even though I was worried it would be super sweet as it has chocolate and almond and coconut. But it was incredible. Not too sweet and had CHOCOLATE WHIP CREAM. Yes! When I complimented them on the drink I was told they make all their syrups and they obviously make the whip cream fresh. Amazing. I will come back for the coffee for sure. read more

First thing first, the service is marvelous. Very friendly and genuinely helpful. This place definitely caters to the stepford wife/yoga mom crowd and seems to do quite well at it. Expect to wait for a table at 10am on a weekday. The coffee is also outstanding. Breve cappuccino was rich and creamy and they piled perfectly frothed cream to the top. This was a good thing because I had time to drink the entire thing while I waited 30 minutes on a bench for a sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was good, and would have been even better if the bread was crispy and the eggs were hot. I'm not sure if they rushed it because they were backed up or that's just how it is, but for the price and the wait I'd expect a little more, in terms of temperature and ingredients. Final note would be, I don't think it's appropriate to have 20% be the minimum suggested tip for counter service. I will definitely be back and do hot food when I plan to kill some time with a friend at a table. Until then the pastries looked amazing and I'm going to grab one next time I want something to go. read more

What can I say about this place??? I absolutely love this cute little coffee shop. This was the very first stop on my vacay to Washington. This spot came highly recommended by my sister and mom. This place did not disappoint. Since I was staying just right down the road, I was able to try different drinks and food. From what I recall, I ordered directly off of their special holiday menu for my drinks. I've tried their cinnamon pumpkin, gingerbread, & white mocha for the drinks. Special avocado toast, chocolate croissant, and bread pudding for the food. The ambiance of the place is very cozy with both indoor and outdoor seating. I cannot wait to go back to visit next year. I will definitely be back!!! read more

Bequest gave away our table on a busy concert night that we booked three weeks in advance. They claimed we arrived 25 minutes early instead of 30 minutes and then repeatedly lied to our face about any communication before giving up our table. This behavior is unethical, greedy, and inappropriate for a legitimate business. Do not book with these guys during concert series in Mill Creek!!! Or take the risk and have Family and friends. Some over 80 are now driving back to Seattle after their blatant selfish decision. read more

The service at Bequest Coffee Co is top notch! food is made in house and super fresh, Coffee is prepared to perfection. They have and amazing outdoor seating area (my fav). Next visit you should try one of their house made flavors in your Coffee and pair that with ANY panini. Been coming here since it opened. I love love love the baristas/staff here. Coffee never disappoints, pastries are always so fresh. The açaí bowls ruined it for any other place for me. They are so good, I can't have açaí bowls anywhere else now. So thanks for that! Lol! I want to be selfish and not tell anyone because this place is such a gem but also it's so good everyone has to try it!! Highly recommend! read more

I tried this place for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. The owners were so nice and helpful. They recommended a prosciutto breakfast sandwich and a caramel latte(they make their caramel from scratch there). Both were delicious! It's hard to find a place where customer service is great and the food is great. I will definitely be coming back and I have already recommended this place to a few people. :) read more

Bequest is my go-to cozy local coffee shop! I absolutely LOVE the taste of their lattes -- creamy and flavorful every time without a miss. Prices are a little on the higher side but you pay for good quality and that's what you receive. I also feel good knowing I'm supporting a small business. I always order a pastry with my coffee and my favorites are the blueberry and cream cheese pastry and the spinach ricotta pastry (if you can catch it! Not always available). The workers are friendly and sweet. It's a small establishment and I never actually have a chance to find seating inside, which is ok because I like sitting outside even in the cold. I come with my French bulldog and he always gets so much love from the customers and workers alike which makes me so happy knowing this cafe is dog-friendly! I get my usual latte and pastry, sit outside with the pup, and read while the music from the outdoor speakers play. It's the best place to settle down on a cold, winter morning. One thing I would love is if they were able to turn on the fire pit at the outdoor tables if they noticed patrons out there. I asked once about a year ago and they said they were not able to, so I didn't ask again but maybe things have changed. read more

I've come here a few times now! The staff is very friendly - the coffee is pretty great and their baked goods are MADE FRESH along with breakfast sandwiches and acai bowls. I haven't tried the acai bowl but I bet it's good! Indoor and outdoor seating. It's a great place to have meetings, study, work on stuff etc. Keep in mind, if you go just to sit down outside, it's courtesy and recommended to at least order from them, even if it's just a cup of joe :) The bathroom is single and clean! read more

First off, the customer service is outstanding from beginning to end. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a smiling face and a "welcome". I purchased the small acai bowl for $10 (large available as well for a few dollars more) and was very satisfied. Honey, granola, vegan sorbet, fresh strawberries, and banana. Not only was the taste delicious, the presentation was great as well. Super comfortable atmosphere with ample seating (even an electric fireplace for chilly days). Many bakery options in addition to espresso/coffee. I will be back!!! read more

My wife and I went out for some coffee and decided to explore something near us and initially we had not considered it. To be honest, we did not know it existed and we just happened to stumble upon it when we left another nearby shop that had great reviews but the ambiance wasn't for us. We are so glad we found this little gem! To start, the service was amazing. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a genuine smile and hello. The vibe inside is calm, cozy and gives a feeling of intimacy without isolation, just what we look for in a little coffee shop. We were thrilled to see they had Cuban coffee options which I had not seen since we moved from Miami and it was delicious! The pastries were ALL delicious. We had the Blackberry and Cream Cheese, the Fontina and Bacon Croissant, the Homemade Flan and an Açaí Bowl. They also have sandwiches and omelettes made to order which we will have to return to try as they looked extremely appetizing as we saw on others tables. Everything is made in-house and I would highly recommend! We highly recommend this spot if you're looking for excellent service with delicious food options and coffee. read more

Outstanding cafe that's way more than coffee. Tasty pastries and food, too. This family run (yea, Vinny!) place is in a great location with easy parking. Love the covered outdoor seating shared with other shops, and Wednesday evening live music in the summer. Highly recommended. read more

Top notch coffee shop! Great location, great prices and a cozy atmosphere - I really couldn't ask for more! Build your own Açaí bowl is perfect for after a morning workout or if you need a healthy afternoon pick me up. It's so delicious! Plus I love the pastries... the bacon and fontina is my favorite, order it in the morning because it sells out fast! The chocolate croissant and apple tart are also both absolutely fantastic. Would definitely recommend if you need a breakfast or lunch pick me up that's healthy and fast! If you need something more substantial they also have panini's, breakfast sandwiches and omelettes. read more

YUM!!! I absolutely love this place! This is one of the few places where I'd never complain about the price of the coffee because I've never had a bad cup of coffee here. Their pasties, sandwiches and soup is also delicious! Who ever is doing the hiring is doing a great job because the customer service is truly great! Cute spots to sit in all around the cafe, both inside and outside options, which has been nice for summertime weather. read more

Came in for a quick bite and was not disappointed! This coffee shop seems like it's run by a small family and they're all so sweet. I ordered a London fog with house made lavender syrup and vanilla syrup. I love that their syrups aren't too sweet! I also had a breakfast sandwich with bacon and pepper jack. I personally find it too small for the price, but it was still simple and good for a quick bite. Like other reviewers mentioned, I think they can benefit from buttering the bread and adding a bit more seasoning to the eggs. I recommend anyone in the area to stop by and give it a shot! read more

The best coffee and bakery in Snohomish area. I live 30 min drive but always drive here for a coffee and chocolate croissant because they are the best here. European style bakery, always fresh and soft. And the owners are super nice and kind people. I advise all my friends to stop by this spot every time they are in Mill Creek. read more

Food was ok, nothing spectacular. Coffee was ok. Service wasn't extraordinary but didn't have terrible service. It's cheaper than Starbucks and local so that's a plus but it wasn't anything I would go out of my way to continue to support. read more

I'm sorry, I hate to be that person. But this was awful. Worst white mocha I have ever had, genuinely. My bacon fontina didn't have 1/2 name ingredients; there was literally no cheese in it. My fiancé's pastries were "ok" according to him, but his latte was also bad. We threw out nearly full coffees. Waste of $35. read more

Love this coffee shop! Family owned and extremely dedicated to sharing that feeling with you. Coffee is phenomenal, they bake almost all of the pastries themselves, and they have great regular food items as well. Try the omelets or the Redmond sandwich with soup - delicious. Great tasting coffee. The coffee beans they use are aromatic and flavorful. The drink orders are usually consistent but they vary slightly based on the barista and I've seen the baristas rotate often. Unlike most other coffee shops that provide a punch/rewards card, this place provides a stamp per visit instead of stamps based on drinks, which is not great. read more

It kind of overpowered the drink in a a way that didn't feel very balanced. The signs for the matcha flavors were also a bit sticky and dirty (as shown in the picture), which gave me the ick a little -- a quick wipe down would make the experience feel a lot cleaner for people trying the matcha flight. The coconut matcha and lavender matcha were actually very good flavor-wise, but the matcha itself still wasn't very strong. I think the drinks could really improve if the matcha base was more bold and if some of the flavor options tasted a bit more natural. The café itself is cute and the vibe is nice, which is why I'm giving three stars. I would definitely come back again, and my review could easily change if the matcha becomes stronger in the future. Matcha can be amazing when it's done right, so I hope they refine the recipe a bit.

Bequest is our go to coffee shop! They not only serve excellent options for coffee, but also yummy pastries, tasty sandwiches and flatbreads (their cheesecake is the best I've ever eaten!). The owners, Vinney and Andi, are gracious and welcoming. We took advantage of their offer to reserve a table for the Summer Concert Series at Town Center. We enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere, great food, and entertaining performances by various local band groups. We will be regular patrons of Bequest and recommend you pay them a visit. I really like the Bequest food and beverage offerings. But what I really like are the owners. They are very humble and friendly. They remember who you are and what you like. Delicious coffee, cute atmosphere (I especially love sitting outside under the twinkle lights!), and the staff are always helpful, quick, and do a good job.
