From a creative idea it quickly became a dish available in the cities and towns of the Netherlands. Eventually it crossed the borders of Europe, and now available in Bridgeport CT. My wife and I are originally from the Netherlands, or as we say Holland, and familiar with 'kapsalon.' So we didn't wait any longer and made our way to WoW Kebab & Gyros. The restaurant is located at the corner, and we parked on the street. We walked in, and I was hoping to meet somebody with a connection with Holland. It's always good to meet people from the homeland. Hassan greeted me, and we started talking. No connection with Holland, but with other countries in Europe. And because 'kapsalon' had arrived in Berlin, Hassan knew about it and brought it to the US of A. While Isak, prepared our meal (hope I wrote his name right). Hassan and I talked about life, and other stuff cool people talk about. When he however showed me and had me taste the sambal sauce (a spicy chilly originated in Indonesia) and his garlic sauce, my heart skipped a beat. YES! Finally! Oh, man did I long for this. Hassan I'm forever grateful you decided to come to Bridgeport (Yeah, I know Black Rock). Eventually the 'kapsalon' was ready to go. We said our goodbyes.
