After a quick cleaning of the charging port didn't work, they replaced the charging unit of the Iphone and I picked it up the next day (for $50 out the door). These guys were great. Professional, fast, reasonably priced. I brought my Samsung Galaxy 7 phone in for repair (cracked screen) and they did it in about 1.5 hours with no appointment. This is not an easy fix by the way, if you watch the YouTube repair video, it involves heating up the screen with a heat gun, disconnecting a ton of different wires, replacing the cracked glass and screen display, then putting everything back into place and adding some glue before closing it back again. The cafe next door has Wifi so I just worked on my laptop then went back. Friendly and professional service. read more

Service was excellent and they did not charge me a penny. I took off one star because of the initial phone conversation. I thought my ipad 2 needed a new charging port. Their web site said the fee was $50. I did not intend to ask the price of that service over the phone, but I heard the question slip out of my mouth. He answered $150. I said it should be $50, and he made excuses about how once you open the ipad, the screen could break. I reminded him that the web site stated $50, so he said he would meet that price. When I got there, he insisted I leave if there so he could try to charge it up. He said it might not need a port at all. In the end, he was right. The problem was with my cable. So he return a charged up ipad for no fee. I talked him into selling me a new cable for $15. read more

They did nothing to the phone (bc a tech wasn't available) and I ended up calling Berkeley iPhone Repair on Sunday asking if they had a tech on-site who could look at the phone. Last night I dropped my phone into a bucket of water and although it worked fine initially, by morning time it was frozen. An employee managed to hard reset the phone (which I had tried but somehow failed to accomplish) and that solved the problem. He took the phone apart and unscrewed various component connections to ensure there was no water hiding anywhere, which there wasn't, and that was that. No charge.
