By not including any less than complimentary comments a clear picture is not being presented. My mother (and my father until his passing) lived in the Seasons community for 11 years - 9 years at Seasons and 2 years at Courtyard. The years in independent living was tolerable - Courtyard, not so much. The lack of staffing, particularly at night, was very concerning. When you have one nurse on duty and a scattering of aides handling 3 floors of elderly residents, this is makes for a less than ideal assisted living arrangement. Care conferences were never held, repairs requested for her apartment (broken tile in bathroom - possible trip hazard), thorough apartment cleaning as stipulated in lease agreement each took over a year to achieve. Other than an ideal location there is nothing ideal about Courtyard. My mother at age 96 passed away recently and no one in the management of Senior Lifestyle had the humanity to even utter condolences to our family. Concerns regarding the facility were also voiced to the President of Senior Lifestyle in their Chicago headquarters and has also been completely ignored. Would NOT recommend this facility to any family looking for an assisted living facility.

My family was very pleased with my dear mother's stay at Seasons for short term rehab.  From the…read moremoment she arrived until she was discharged, she was treated with the highest level of professionalism and compassionate care.  The facility is very nice, very clean, safe, and we felt very safe with the covid protocol that was in place.  Her room was lovely and everyone was very accommodating and responsive.  All of the staff/administration were very helpful, approachable, knowledgeable, kind, considerate, and went above the call of duty to make my mother's stay a great experience.  We appreciated the friendly and hard working housekeeping staff, food staff, and all of the workers whom we encountered from day to day!  The food was good/prepared well and extra care was taken to ensure I was served meals with regard to my nutrition restrictions.  Heartfelt and special thanks to the Therapy Dept., Nursing Staff/Medical Team and the Social Worker!  They worked tirelessly to provide the highest level of care that we have received anywhere and it was absolutely the primary reason for such a great and successful outcome.  We would highly recommend Seasons to any family looking for great, quality care!

We filed a notice with the state. We spoke to another resident's family a few months after my dad died and their family members had also contracted scabies. The staff who took care of my dad in the back was absolutely wonderful. Can't say enough good things about them. The management is another story.

Physical therapy staff was very curteous and professional and showed concern for my limitations, pain and the needs of the environment I would be going into. I am very impressed with this facility!

Puts on a happy face but when concerns are made but is a professional gaslighter and manipulative behavior on his end. Blames and shames residents and family members instead of his own incompetence. Very condescending and belittling! Assisting living nurse manager incompetent. Untrained, uneducated, and uncaring staff. Was told the very first day, by an aide, that we should hire private care for family member if we want good care. Direct debited over $2000 out of bank account without authorization and over charges without even an apology. So technically stealing from family members. Refuse to recognize family medical doctor ordered POA status. Again, great location, pretty place, all shiny on the outside but a mess on the inside. No wonder place is still half empty two years after being open. Run!!!!!! You get what you pay for.

I'm leaving this review based on my experience while providing care to a resident at Maple Knoll…read more Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed and uncomfortable with what I witnessed. During my time there, I observed situations where a resident's call light remained on for an extended period while staff members were sitting in the hallway talking and laughing. I found myself having to assist with many of the resident's needs because staff were not responding as promptly as I would have expected. I understand that I am there to provide support, and I am more than willing to help, but there are certain things I cannot do because I do not have the same access or responsibilities as facility staff. I also witnessed interactions from some staff and therapy personnel that came across as impatient and unkind. Residents in a care facility deserve patience, dignity, compassion, and prompt attention--especially when they are asking for assistance. What bothered me most was seeing staff socializing and laughing in the hallway while a resident was waiting for assistance. Whether or not there were other circumstances I was unaware of, the situation did not give me confidence in the level of attentiveness being provided. I'm sharing this because I genuinely hope management takes these concerns seriously. The residents deserve better. They deserve to feel cared for, respected, and heard--not like they are an inconvenience.
