I had the misfortune of bringing my QX80 here for a used vehicle inspection. To summarize, my interaction with them was plauged with gross incompetence and outright fraud. Ultimately they refunded me for the service performed, but on a follow up appointment demonstrated the same basic lack of competence on their flagship vehicle - the QX80, and cost me thousands of dollars in additional repairs. When I brought my vehicle there in August 2025, right from the start the serivce advisor Eddie refused to review and discuss my list of known issues. His only interaction with me was saying he was having problems scanning the barcode with the VIN on my car, and that this inspection would cost me $405. A few hours later when I returned to pick up the vehicle, while reviewing the report I was astounded to see that everything passed, except for the power lift gate, adaptive cruise control radar and horn. I appealed the findings of this inspection to Eddie, even taking him to my vehicle and showing him that the engine air filter was so dirty it was black, he pushed back and supported the findings of "Technician 98" and it was in perfectly acceptable condition and did not require replacement. When I went to pay, I saw that Eddie had tacked on unauthorized and fraudulent charge of $37.65 for "non attributable supplies and services", the only possible shop supply used here was a single paper towel to wipe off the oil dipstick, as to how that would cost $37.65 perhaps they used a sheet of gold leaf? Of the issues with the vehicle: - Contrary to their report the horn functioned fine. Eddie refused to say how they determined it was faulty unless I paid him $225 for "diagnostics". - The adaptive cruise control radar having a DTC code for being blocked was already known. It was the first thing I noticed when I picked up this car is that the license plate was blocking the radar. Instead of just telling me they could install the license plate elsewhere on the bumper, Eddie demanded another $225 for "diagnostics" to determine why the radar was blocked. - The tires on the front axle had 4/32" of tread depth and more than 73,000 miles on them. Illinois state law requires them to be at least 4/32" of tread depth, and the manufacturer rated the tires for only 70,000 miles. Instead of telling me they required imminent replacement, Eddie just listed it as a "caution". - Both front brake rotors had a deep groove cut in to them, several thousands of an inch deep. The factory service manual says they should be replaced if it is more than 6 ten thousandths deep. Instead of failing them as the service manual indicates Eddie listed them as a pass. - The emergency/parking brake was non-functional, the factory service manual says it should be able to keep a vehicle stopped after 5 or 6 clicks. Mine required 14. Eddie listed this as a pass. - The windshield washers were severely misasligned, Eddie marked them as a pass. - The windshield wipers had significant problems with streaking, Eddie marked them as a pass. - Passenger compartment air filter was extremely dirty and filled with leaves, Eddie marked it as not applicable. - Engine air filter was so clogged it had turned from white to black, Eddie marked it as a pass. - The vehicle had the wrong battery installed - a size 65 instead of size 27. A size 27 battery has 50% more capacity. Eddie marked it as a pass. - The transmission had a problem with shuddering, instead of inspecting it or the fluid, Eddie marked it as not applicable. - The only actual problem they had managed to confirm is that the power lift gate was broken. They wanted an additional $225 in diagnostics to tell me that the motor needed to be replaced. - The on board maintenance computer said the engine oil was past its end of life and required replacement. Eddie listed it as a pass. - The front seats were both defective, one stuttered while moving, the other would rock back and forth on the track, these issues were ignored by Eddie. I ended up emailing the service director Mark, and he convineced me to ultimately brining my vehicle back to Berman Infiniti so they could try again, to refund me the $445 paid for the inspection, and file a warranty claim to cover the service. I prepared a 45 page report for Mark showing him everything which was wrong with the vehicle, pictures documenting these issues when possible, and excerpts of the factory service manual as an authoratative source as determining if an issue existed. Mark filed the warranty claim, and due to the amount involved the warranty company wanted to send out an adjuster. A few days later the adjuster denied the claim. Eddie at Berman Infiniti refused to tell me why, and when I contacted warranty company I was given reasons such as not being to inspect the power lift gate motor, as the technician at Berman couldn't figure out how to manually open the door. So thanks to Berman Infiniti's repeated incompetence, I ended up having to perform these repairs myself. read more

Friend... Coolant goes missing every 3-4 months and Service advisor Eddie states it's normal to "top off" your coolant every 3-4 months as long as it's not a lot being added. Let him know that it's not normal as my brother owns a Q50RS and his stays the same level. Have gone in for service 4 times total (3 oil changes and one time after my first oil change when I brought up that my coolant was low.) Every single time they've added coolant. Eddie tried denying it last time but I made sure to clean the area before I brought it to service. Every time they spill coolant. Brought it up to Eddie that he's lying and that's when he called the mechanic and he confirmed he did add coolant. Eddie stated the second visit "Doesn't matter you have warranty".... Last time I buy an Infiniti or recommend anyone. Horrible dealer. read more

The other poor reviews are validating my years of horrible service from Berman Infiniti. I love the cars and am on my 4th lease from Berman. You would think that would mean something to them but their actions demonstrate that they couldn't care less. Today I arrived at my 3pm appointment to repair my key fob (a problem that never occurred before they replaced the battery the last time I was there). Eddie the service manager appeared completely baffled as to why I was there even though I made my appt online and got a confirmation. I specifically stated when I made the appt that I would wait for my car vs leaving it. Eddie proceeded to tell me it "would take an hour to fix" and "they would be closing at 4". I told him then they should get started with the repair. He then pressed my key fob and stated "it works just fine" and put it down and said they couldn't complete the service. (Note - this is the second time this has happened. Last time I did leave my car for 2 days for them to replace a tire and ruin my key fob. Thanks a lot!) Also to note- I was also there to discuss my 5th lease because they harass you at the end of your lease (multiple people calling, texting, emailing) and I made a separate appt with Sales to discuss options. *Out-Of-State Buyer Beware* I purchased an Infiniti Q50 Red Sport from Berman INFINITI Chicago in February of 2023 from out of state (IL to AZ). The experience was not ideal and I would not recommend any friends or family to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. 1) Certified Pre-Owned Guarantee Issues - As an Infiniti Certified Pre-Owned (CPO), my vehicle went under a 167-point inspection to ensure all mechanical and some cosmetic defects have been addressed before my purchase. There were 3 issues that should have been addressed with this inspection: broken driver seat leg support, tire tread depth, and a wheel alignment. The first issue I experienced was the broken driver seat leg support after a day of ownership (delivery 2/22/23 and in for service on 2/24/23). Although frustrating, my trusted, local INFINITI dealer fixed this for me free of charge under warranty. While at their dealership they did a basic courtesy vehicle inspection that gave way to the last two issues not addressed by Berman. The second issue being an AWD vehicle, it is essential for all tread depths to be within 2/32" of each other. This was not the case as one tire was 8/32" tread depth , one was 7/32" tread depth and two tires were 4/32" tread depth. This required the purchase of 4 new tires ($1,439.16). The third issue was that the vehicle needed a wheel alignment ($339.19). All three of these issues should have been addressed and fixed by Berman before the vehicle was available for sale as an Infiniti Certified Pre-Owned. 2) Poor Communication - The purchase process for this vehicle took an entirety of 20 days from start to finish (not including delivery time). The salesman Nate was extremely quick and pleasant! He provided me with ample pictures and videos of the vehicle at my request, and got me in touch with the finance department within a day or two of initially inquiring on the vehicle. There was no haggling on price as I agreed to pay the full asking price on the vehicle. Once through to the finance department, they performed a credit pull within the first 24 hours. After the financing was approved, Johnathan, Finance Manager, took multiple days to get me the documents that needed a wet signature through the mail. He was extremely unresponsive and would not be in contact with me for multiple days at a time, in which I had to reach out to him. This process took over two weeks as he delayed sending out the documents, and did not include all of the needed documents so had to re-send them through the mail again. 3) Added Fees and Packages - As mentioned previously, there was no haggling on price as I had agreed to pay the full online asking price. After the credit pull, I was then told that there were mandatory "Add-Ons" and "Warranty Packages" that would be tacked onto the price. This was not previously mentioned and I was told by both the Representative and the online webpage listing of the vehicle that all packages are optional at the buyer's request. To add onto this, Johnathan told me that the required $1,500 cosmetic protection warranty could only be redeemed at their dealership 1,500 miles from me. 4) Damage Upon Delivery - As Nate sent me complete inside-and-out pictures of the Q50, I was able to throughly compare the vehicle for any new signs of wear that occurred during the delivery process. I expected a couple new small rock chips which there was, but on the passenger side rear of the vehicle there was a crease about an inch long along with a scratch in the paint. The delivery driver agreed that it was new damage to the vehicle by comparing his pictures, and marked the damage on the bill of lading. I am appalled that their transportation partner has sub-par reviews, multiple complains, and is not BBB accredited. They provided an end result of "we are not repairing your vehicle." Overall, I was extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and negative experience that I received at Berman INFINITI of Chicago when purchasing a vehicle over $50,000. read more

I have been attempting to get my tire changed on a my QX 60 Infiniti. They all gave me different info. I finally was able to come in and order my tire on Saturday. The tire came in Monday. I got here Monday at 1:10pm and they advise that it may take a little longer to get my tire fixed . What would usually take 45 minutes. It is now 3:40 and I am still waiting this is crazy. There service here has been horrendous, I definitely would think twice about purchase my next vehicle at this location or Berman in general. They have given me an estimate time of 5 pm on my service ticket. For a tire change THIS IS CRAZY!!!!! By the time I finished writing this it was 4:05pm still no car!!! So I just might be here til 5 pm, which would be a 4 hour tire change. WOW!!!! read more

I used to go to this place for years, and I stopped going here because I was told by a licensed mechanic that the majority of the services that they told me that I needed were not needed. Thus, I stopped going to this location for anything, as I no longer trusted them. The technicians make money from every service that's done; thus, it's advantageous for them to create fictitious services because they pocket a certain percentage. Despite the above issues, unfortunately, there are service issues that only an official dealer's service department can address. As a result, I had no other choice but to contact this swindler location. Initially, they told my husband that they'd take out my malfunctioning HDD system and send it to the manufacturer for repair. No further diagnosis was needed because we just received and paid close to $200.00 for a diagnosis at Berman's in Niles. Today was our appointment, but given the hustling reputation of this place, I told my husband to call to confirm that they are actually going to take the part out today and send it for servicing. In speaking with Angelo, the " manager", he was extremely rude, arrogant, condescending, dismissive, and could benefit from diversity/inclusion training ( so that he can educate himself on how to appropriately converse with different types of people). It has been any dealer's practice to look up any type of service that you have received from another official dealer, as they can look it up in their system via the VIN, which this location used to do ( I also have the diagnosis info via email on official Infiniti letterhead). Angelo told me that they are not going to look at that info (only done a month ago), and he stated that they are going to start from scratch. His tone was authoritative as well as condescending...just straight nonnegotiable. Again, they are like vultures and want to take the opportunity to get any penny out of you that they can. Angelo will not be a manager there too much longer, as it is a revolving door at this hustling shop. I don't know how they sleep at night with being so unprofessional and unethical. Angelo's abrasive response and my past experience make this place one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. Lying, cheating, falsifying services that are needed, and being rude have not worked for this location, but they continue to do so...just pathetic and sad. Don't lease or purchase from this dealership. I have taken my 2019 QX50 in to get serviced 4 times because the driver's seat jerks forward and back when I accelerate or stop. They keep telling me it's normal. I've owned a Ford Tempo, Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Nissan Maxima. Nissan Murano, Ford Escape and guess what...the driver's seat never moved the way this one does. On other forums I've read state it's the seat's railing that causes the issue. It affects other years and models too. This dealer hasn't offered to replace it. They just keep making excuses. Service has gone downhill since they moved to the new location. Buyer beware. read more

BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP - They are far from a "luxury" brand with their terrible customer service, they damaged the interior of my vehicle during a service repair and refused to admit to the damage and repair it. The damage was clearly in the area that they were repairing and definitely not there when I gave them possession of my vehicle. They also left me abandoned without a car because of poor communication and customer service from their service advisors. I dropped my car off for repair in the morning and I asked them to give me a status update in the afternoon (but they never called me and just went home for the day). I finally had to call them back myself around 4pm to inquire what the status of my repairs were going to be and all I got was voicemail and unanswered texts to their customer service portal that they advise you to reach out to. The phone number provided in the portal didn't even work. I was left without a car until the following evening. Their advisors never updated me that they would be keeping my car overnight and this happened to me on several occasions and with different service advisors. Not once was I provided with a courtesy car over the 5 or 6 times I had my vehicle in there for service, shame on me for going back after it happened the first time. Also their Apple CarPlay software update (recall from Infiniti) to my navigation system basically made my GPS Navigation System inoperable and they tried to fix it and couldn't and told me that I was just out of luck, try calling consumer affairs, we cant help you anymore. So now I'm stuck with a car with a non functioning Navigation System. Thanks Infiniti, guess I should have gone with the Audi instead. Words of advice, stay clear of this repair department and save yourself a headache from their mismanagement and poor customer service. I'm updating this review, and giving it 3 stars because one of the service directors gave me a call, Mark, and actually provided me some assistance regarding my vehicle. He reached out and wanted to make sure my experience had been rectified and if I had received any updates. Mark apologized for the service I had been receiving, as well as the customer support, and immediately reached out to get an update for my vehicle. He gave me a call back within 10 minutes. It's evident that Mark is the main service director, and deservedly so, considering the professionalism and empathy he displayed while tending to my concerns. However, my car still persist with an ongoing issue that has not been fixed, which is another reason why I am only giving this review 3 stars. read more

BEWARE OF CAR SERVICE DEPT. It was our own fault, left sunglasses in there but we've taken the car to get serviced before in non official dealerships and it was never an issue. Took it in for maintenance spending over $2k only to get it back with the sunglasses stolen. Also had to put the car mats back myself afterwards because they just left it all hanging in the trunk. Contacted manager Mark Yalda and he didn't care. Emailed me and said he'd call but didn't and said they use a 3rd party anyways so can't be responsible, not taking any accountability whatsoever so just know you're not getting serviced by actual Infiniti or Berman people. Not sure what else they're using 3rd party for but if this is their response to everything, I guess they are not responsible for much. The only reason for 2 stars is because our rep was very thorough for the maintenance process, before we found out there was a stolen item and he helped with putting the mats back in place after seeing it was thrown all over the trunk. read more

Buyer beware! Please make sure you do your homework and you are prepared when walking into Berman Infiniti. They will keep at you until they make a sale so please don't fall for the below scams or going to the dealership tired after work like I did and end up overpaying because they'll take advantage of any situation: 1) They will immediately bring up how much you want to spend for monthly payments because they will do anything to avoid discussing and disclosing the actual cost of the car and what they are charging you for it! Don't fall for the scam and don't discuss monthly payments until you have gotten the price that you want for the vehicle. Once you negotiate the a fair price the monthly payment will already be what you're looking to pay for. 2) Come in prepared with your TrueCar, Edmunds or Kelly Blue Book fair price quote for the vehicle. If I had done that I would've paid $5000-$7000 less than what I paid. 3) Do not allow them to sell you an upgraded version of the car if you don't want it. They will use the excuse that they do not have local inventory for the car you want. For example if you don't want All Wheel Drive then don't pay for All Wheel Drive. They will try and sell you an upgraded more expensive version by telling you they don't have much inventory in the lower-priced vehicle that you want. Walk out and go to another dealer. 4) Do not go in without your own financing. Go to the bank and get a car loan before you walk in Berman. They will run your credit report and of the 3 credit bureaus they will use the lowest score so they can charge you the highest interest possible. 5) Do not purchase the extended warranties! This is pure profit off the bat for the dealer. Whenever the dealership tries that hard to sell you something... run for your life. This is the only scam that I will say I didn't fall for. 6) The arbitration agreement they ask you to sign is a joke! Do you bring your attorney with to a car purchase? No! So I wouldn't sign anything as that is seriously underhanded as most people are not familiar with the law! 7) Be patient! Walk away! Don't sit in the car as they play to your emotions! Be patient! In the end if you're willing to walk away, which you always should be you will get a good deal otherwise they will take you for every cent you have. Shop around! Go to every Infiniti dealer if you have to! Whatever you do don't go tired after work when you can I think it's clearly and bring someone with you. Berman is one of the worst examples of scamming a customer that I have seen of all the car purchases I have ever made. While I love the Infiniti vehicle that I've purchased I was completely scammed and robbed and I just want to make sure that this doesn't happen to anyone else at this dealership. Howar Ruiz was the manager on site on my visit. The online price with CASH payment was set, Howar and the dealer told me I had to pay another $1000 because I did not finance. I did not select the FINANCE option, I selected CASH which I was willing to pay full price. I talked to the dealer and Howar several times including mentioning I would be posting their deceptive practices with no avail. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! Vehicle Acquisition Experience: I came in from STL to purchase the vehicle. Confirmed the price in writing and was asked to bring the details of outside funding. When I arrived at the dealership, Johnathan Juarez said they would not release the vehicle because I didn't bring a PAPER CHECK from the lender. The lender provided a Loan Note Guarantee and offered an EFT. Johnathan said they would not accept either from USAA (the lender). Instead, he required a "back up loan". They ran my credit and couldn't meet or beat the APR I received from USAA. Suddenly, not having the paper check in hand was a non-issue and I could leave with the vehicle. This nonsense caused more than a 3 hour delay which I wanted to avoid by confirming and sorting all the details out ahead of time. Lack of Professionalism: I sat in the showroom while waiting to speak with the Finance Manager, Johnathan Juarez, and listened to a woman in her office laughing/joking & cursing on a video call. It was totally inappropriate and reflects the level of professionalism I have seen from most of the employees. Lying about Refunding Money: The funding came through for 1K more than expected. The dealership told USAA they would send the check. 2+ weeks without the refund. Johnathan's reply? Nothing. I called and left 4 voicemails and sent 2 emails. He finally returned my call and said the check was sent a week prior. The check arrived postmarked 2 days AFTER my phone call with him. Temp Tags Expired: They didn't send the titling paperwork to the MO DMV until 3 weeks AFTER I purchased the vehicle. The MO DMV received it 3 days before the temp tag expired and added it to the queue to process (which was another week). The reason for the delay? The dealership didn't have 2 check signers. Did they let me know? No. I had contacted them 4 separate times about sending the info and was given the runaround. The LT&T person punted to Johnathan who then punted back to the LT&T department - this was close of business Saturday. The day before the tags expired. I am now without a vehicle I can legally drive. Lack of Urgency, Accountability, and Respect for Customer's Time: While Johnathan was polite, he lacked accountability. He continuously blamed this department and that department. Rather than be the face of the dealership, he told me about how this department is in another building, that he doesn't handle this or that, etc. He was disrespectful of my time spent sitting at the dealership and the time I spent emailing and calling. Bought a used car from them and did not honor the agreed price: My sales representative was Ken. We agreed up on a price and I took the car for a pre-purchase inspection to my mechanic. The inspection report said there might be some work I would have to get done in the near future. So, I was not sure and decided not to buy it at the moment. I went back the following weekend and after confirming they would honor the previously agreed up on price. Upon arriving I was giving a price that was $500 more than what we had agreed upon. Do not go to this place expecting a good treatment. They will try to get as much money as they can from you (which dealer does not?). Lack of manners: They were friendly at first but there was a delay when I took the car for the inspection since the lift at the mechanic broke and the car was stuck. I called and left Ken a message explaining the situation. An hour later my wife gets a nasty call saying I was gone for too long and that his shift was almost over. When you want to make a sale, you stay or pass the customer along to another person. You do not call and yell at the customer when there clear attempts to keep him updated. read more

Leased our car from Berman Infiniti Chicago now on Hooker Street (originally on LaSalle) about a year and half ago and recently made the decision to purchase the car, out of respect for the dealership, we returned to this location to purchase the vehicle. We tried negotiating the price and we were told "NO" because we were buying the car from ourselves. OK, that is understandable. We then requested a set of winter car mats to throw in the deal and the response from Luis the sales manager was "No problem, you buy the car mats and I'll throw them in the car for you!" as he said with a "smirk" on his face in front of 4 other Berman's employees. Guess he showed the employees who heard our conversation how to put a customer (me) in their place for asking for car mats!! A dealership that cared about their customers and possible repeat business would have gladly added a set of car mats to the deal. Will not be returning nor will we recommend. read more

A loose dime stuck in something sticky in a cubby. Dirty surfaces. Just really, really dirty. $30+k certified car should be detailed. I feel like they took advantage of online pandemic shoppers. If you are looking for a pleasant experience purchasing a car but zero customer service if there is an issue after purchase, this is the place for you. I purchased a certified used SUV. My salesman, Anthony, was easy to work with, not pushy, friendly. The finance guys, Rick and Micah, had great positive attitudes, friendly, not pushy, really enjoyed working with them. I walked out with my vehicle and thought the whole experience was great. I got home to realize an accessory (a $400 one) that was listed with the vehicle and told to me by my salesman that the accessory was for the vehicle I was purchasing was for a totally different car, make and model. No big deal I thought, they will get me the correct part and I will turn in the incorrect one. Oh no, I was told any accessories that come with used cars are from the previous owners and Berman's has no responsibility for them. Then, they advised they could order me one at a 'discounted' rate which turned out to be more expensive than what I could buy it for myself on Infiniti's website. Then my calls and emails went unanswered. I escalated this to Kodi who asked for feedback about my experience at Berman's and was again ignored. At this point (almost 3 weeks later) I was done giving Berman's a chance to fix their mistake so I reached out to corporate (who also said Berman's was not being cooperative with them - yikes), corporate offered to right the wrong and order me the correct accessory at no charge to me. I would definitely make sure you have every possible question and issue addressed before you sign anything, they don't seem to care about their customers once the sale is made. This was really disappointing because I would have given a raving review about everyone we worked with and highly recommended them if they would have just fixed their mistake from the beginning. SWEETHEARTS! And gay-friendly sweethearts at that!! Here is why... You know how at Nordstrom, the salespeople are always smiling at you and offering to get you tea and water and happily refunding you and even *apologizing* for the dress you have clearly worn with the deodorant marks still on it, and generally bending over *backwards* to make you feel like a Million Bucks -- even though all you're buying is a single sweater off the Clearance Rack -- bc this is the only retail place left on earth where "The Customer Is ALWAYS Right"? Well, it's JUST like that HERE - except it's also a CAR DEALERSHIP - crazy right?!? Luis was our sales person and he was so kind and genuine and down to earth; not at all salesmany-y. Everyone we met there was friendly and transparent and NO PRESSURE at all. Which we greatly appreciated. And gay-friendly as well - which was a major plus. You never know what kinda Attitude you'll get when you and your partner walk into a (ugh) Car Dealership, looking for a car as a couple. I'm looking at you, Weil Cadillac of Libertyville! Whereas Weil Caddy TOTALLY made it clear that we were beneath-them 2nd class citizens, probably with a bad case of Cooties....QUITE the opposite was true at Berman's Infiniti. I felt like Luis would probably have been happy to let us Test Drive a dozen cars in the same night, and at expressway speed, with no concerns at all whether we bought that day or not. :) ALL car dealerships should make you feel this good and happy. Luis even found us EXACTLY the car we wanted in EXACTLY the color combo we wanted - the very 1st night we came in - and had it driven over from Timbuktu - just so we could "check it out" - before it even came on the website. Yesss! We came in the next day and bought that car - thus making the biggest car purchase of our lives - a real "grown up car!". =) We bought an Infiniti FX35, fully loaded and then some (we're talking TV screens that you can game on, air conditioned seats - and on and on). We loooove this car. A few days later Luis called us just to see if everything was going well with the new car. WHO EVEN DOES THAT ANYMORE?!? Thanks to Luis and this wonderful place, I have a SERIOUS car of Car Lust now - as in I can't WAIT to get up in the morning and drive to work - and I can't WAIT to get in after work to drive home - and I don't even LIKE driving - esp not on the stop and go cruddy pothole-filled Eisenhower. The service department at Berman Infiniti have questionable if not suspect tactics. I took my Vehicle there and they fixed a relative simple repair and they tried not to provide receipts detailing my costs. Once I finally received a receipt, to my surprise they have a $50 just because we can charge you fee and I was never told the cost of my repair up front. Kelly Smith is sneaky and unethical. This service department fixed one issue and started another so that I would have to spend more money. This placed ruined a part on a rare Infiniti just to have me come back to have it fixed for another $1200.00. This is my last Infiniti, I wish I had not even brought this one if the service department wants to make more money off of repairs than I have paid in car notes since I purchased the vehicle in two visits to the service department. read more

I walked in to Berman's the day after I totaled my car not at all looking forward to purchasing a new one. And to make matters worse, I had just ran (almost screaming) from another dealership (not Infiniti) because of how skeezy the place was. Berman's was a refreshing and unexpected experience. We were greeted by Luis, who is warm and friendly and not at all salesman-y. Several minutes later, Ronnie, the Sales Manager, came over to greet us. Luis had told him about my car accident, and he asked how I was doing and seemed genuinely concerned about me. Luis patiently answered all our questions, explained the differences between the cars we liked, and let us test drive. We stopped at the service center, which is just down the road, and he took us on a tour and let us see more of the pre-owned inventory there. Since we were waiting on insurance, we couldn't commit to anything that day--we were just looking. That was totally fine with him. We were not rushed or ignored. There was literally NO pressure to commit to buying anything. Fast forward a few days, and we called Luis to let him know that we wanted to purchase a pre-owned car. I stopped by to drop off the onus money, and Luis drove me home--in my soon-to-be new car. When we showed up on Saturday to make the purchase, Luis was already having the car detailed and the paperwork was in process. He let us test drive the car and made sure he had answered all of our questions. Ronnie the Sales Manager also checked in and made sure we had what we needed. He also asked about my injuries and how I was healing. The whole process took a couple hours and it was PAINLESS. The Finance Manager Misty went through all the numbers with us, as well as the additional options that were available: road side assistance and hazard coverage, extended warranties, etc. Luis even put the plates on our car so it was ready to drive home once we were done with the paperwork. There was no haggling, no back and forth--it was all straight forward, honest, and transparent. We got a great deal and great treatment. We are more than satisfied with Berman's and are very happy that we will be dealing with such a professional, courteous, and honest dealership for all of our needs in the future. Big fan of their sister dealers, but I did not have the same experience that I had at Star Nissan. I contacted the dealer to come and see a G37x. The sales guy who I spoke to was very helpful, and I was looking forward to working with him. When I got there, the sales guy wasn't available, so I was stuck with another salesman. Coming from a person who sells to clients on a daily basis, I'm a little more critical of the people I work with in my personal life. I couldn't express how disappointed I was with the salesman I got. At one point during the negotiation I was told that "I was crazy", "It's an Infiniti, it's going to be more than a Lexus", and my favorite "You have champagne taste on a beer budget". The amazing thing, is that I was able to find a Mercedes with less miles and more features than the Infiniti. There's always a time to listen and take care of the client. If you disagree with the client, the first thought shouldn't be to argue back. read more

We were torn on how to review Berman. Five stars (or more) to Addy, the sales person that we worked with. Earlier this year we went in, no appt, and Addy was very informative, helpful and not at all pushy. Months later, once we had reached a purchasing decision, we were working with Addy over email and again he was extremely helpful. The one day that it worked for us to come in to the dealership to potentially finalize a purchase he was not working, so he put us in touch with his manager Jordan. I would give Jordan 2 stars. And I don't take 2 stars lightly. From the start, Jordan was rude and not helpful. Both via email, over the phone, and in person. I work with sales people every day and am still shocked that he manages to have a job in sales. I was ready to walk out of the dealership that day because of him (and to be honest, at times still wish we had). The only reason we stayed and ended up purchasing the car was because we knew that Addy would still get the commission. My advice, if you go to Berman avoid having to work with Jordan at all costs. But, I highly recommend Addy - he was the contact person that we picked the car up from, and post purchase he has continued to impress us with his knowledge and demeanor. read more

We came back to turn our G in for the new Q50 and this was by far the easiest, smoothest, and quickest transactions I have ever experienced buying a car. Misty Reiser and Luis Guzman were in a word, phenomenal. Misty searched high and low for the perfect car and Luis even drove to Michigan to pick it up (to avoid the delay a truck transfer would have caused) to have it ready for our appointment a couple days later. Was very pleased with my purchase. They were able to sell me the car of my dreams, and worked with me to finance the vehicle so that it would work with my budget. Luke handled my sale, and was very professional, and down to earth, and answered any and all questions we had. The only issue I had was that the tires were extremely bald. My only suggestion would be that they replace tires on all used cars with tires that bald. Not a huge deal, but it did give me some reservations about driving it home to Michigan, from Chicago. Needless to say, I made it home just fine! All in all, I was very happy with the purchase, and with our salesman, and with the rest of the staff who were very courteous, and welcoming. I purchased a pre-owned vehicle exactly two weeks ago today. I raved about my experience at Bermans! I was truly impressed with the service, the staff, the extensive inspection, 30 Day Promise, etc. I gave Vlad and Addy 5 star ratings! I was totally sold on the fact that Bermans stands behind their vehicles both new and pre-owned. I was truly happy to join the Berman Infinity family and overjoyed about my purchase! It was awesome...until last week. While the deal was being made, everyone was amazingly kind and extremely helpful. Within a two week period, once an issue was discovered, the masks were removed and the truth was revealed. The Berman's Commitment did not last a full 14 days! Do a VERY VERY thorough inspection before driving off! Trusting the 180 point inspection and/or the word of the sales team alone, will lead to buyers remorse. There is absolutely no reason why a customer should be slapped with a service bill less than two weeks after a major purchase!! DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP! THEY DO NOT RESPECT YOU, YOUR TIME OR YOUR VALUE OF A LONG TERM CUSTOMER!! The Berman's should be embarrassed to have their name on this place. I have been a loyal customer for 7 years but after this past weekend I will never go again and I will never consider infiniti as a future vehicle because of how unprofessional, missmanaged, incompetent was and truly sad my experience was. I was told upon arrival by a young lady that the wait for my oil change was 3 hours which is just ridiculous, and that was with my scheduled appointment! I ended up waiting 4.5 hours and only had one update from my advisor the whole time! Upon leaving, my oil light was still on, my sticker wasn't changed, my tire light was still on and my car was filthy. Im not even sure the oil change I paid for was done. When I left there I had to go to Jiffy Lube to make sure it was complete and they treated me much better then Berman's Infiniti did. I called back for a manager and of course I was told there is none on duty and you can call Joe Monday. I asked where Hilary was and was notified she was no longer there and that you had two manager since shes been gone. I can not understand why the people who run Bermans Infiniti are so brainless, obtuse and use the poorest of judgement when it comes to choosing managers! What kind of so called professional luxury dealership goes through more then a half dozen managers in the 7 years when you have guys like Ramon and Nick that are well deserving of this position. I called the manager on Monday and was told hes not available. Called again and was told the same thing, called again, and again, and again and every time one of the young ladies who answered my call all said they will relay the message. Monday passed and today is Tuesday. I called and asked for a managaer 5 times today and no response or call back. Its no wonder why your service center is so poorly managed because the individual you have as a manager clearly does not care and lacks proper social skills. This shows unprofessionalism, incompetence, lack of urgency, poor judgement and overall disrespectful of his customers time. I can not fathom how he expects me to wait 4.5 hours for a half ass oil change but can not give me 2 minutes of his time and return my call. After writing this out, I realize that this is no longer worth my time, a return call now would be an insult and realized after this experience that this is my last interaction with this dealership!
