I had my SUV serviced here and everything went well. Ethan was very thorough and explained every step. He did not try to upsell anything which I appreciated. I decided to use a loaner since my service was estimated to take around 2 hours. The loaner was basically the same as my SUV which made it easy for me. Was a loyal customer , asked every year from 2022 , 2023 , 2024 , 2025 , 2026 to get a bespoke LC 500. Never was told of a list they brought up later , never asked for a reservation amount , nothing. Introduced me to some guy that was their special order king and never heard from him. So the exact car comes up ... did they reach out to the loyal person that bought multiple cars from them ... nope. Totally disloyal location. As an enthusiast and someone that bought multiple cars and only now a magical list appears to either explain they have no clout with Lexus or they marked it up way past msrp but whatever it is , is is fishy. Then. Lots of stories about how this year allocation was tight but been asking for years not just this year. They did try and sell me a car they took to golf courses and was scratched up but since it wasn't titled was "new". All my next purchases go to different dealers or even maybe time to dump this brand completely. read more

This is for the service department. I made an appointment online for 1:00 for an oil change. I received an appointment confirmation via text and on the day of the appointment I received a reminder text. When I arrived at 1:00, the check-in person couldn't find my appointment info, and I was asked to go to the waiting room and someone would get me. I waited 10 minutes, and then talked to Mike Vestuto. He looked at the messages on my phone, checked his computer and said yes I had an appointment. At this point someone came out and got in my car. Mike said it would be 45 minutes to an hour, 2:15. At approximately 2:15 I received a text with a video of my service inspection. The voice on the video said "Here's what your filters look like, and I will now do an oil change." I went in to talk to Mike again, and asked him what was going on. He checked and said the oil change had been done, and the car would be ready soon. We did some paper work and at 2:35 the car appeared. We bought the car new from this dealer, and have been having it serviced here for 7 years. This is our worst service experience to date. We expect better service from Lexus. read more

Although I bought my car from a different dealership (Actually.. far far away), it has nothing to do with the sales department nor did I even start my search with them. However, when I purchased with used 2017 IS300 CPO, I received 4 free services over the course of 2 years in addition to other Lexus standard CPO deals. Last week, I finally used up my last service and I must say that I am very impressed with this dealership. The process of getting my car serviced is very seamless. There are clear markings of where to enter your car (which is on the east side of the building, facing the main road). Once you enter, you will get a free alignment as your car is driving through the building. You pull up at the other end, and someone will greet you right away at your door. I have been to other dealerships, IE: Ford, Mitsu, Mazda, etc, and Lexus currently wins for the best customer service that I have ever been with. They will ask you more about your car and what kind of service you are doing. You give them your key and off you wait in the waiting room. This is during COVID years so they always had a bottle of hand sanitizer, mask, etc at the door waiting for you. In fact, they have them all over the place especially hand sanitizer. You enter through the door and are greeted with a wonderful waiting area. It has plenty of seats, about 4 or so big-screen TVs on various channels. In the back left, you will be greeted with a cafe, coffee, sodas, etc. Every now and then, someone will walk around to give you warm cookies. I have been to dealerships where their waiting room is the size of a typical bathroom or so, but this feels grand. During my 2 years here, I have met a lot of their service advisors and I do not have anything bad to say about them. They are all very nice and friendly, and easy to get a hold of if you need to call. This location is great for keeping you updated about your car and recommends other services shortly to watch for or current issues. I have never felt pressured to do anything or buy anything extra. After your car is completed, they will wash it and bring it out to you. And off you go. Great service, friendly staff, and a nice car wash. There is nothing more you can ask for. Normally I do most of my maintenances myself at home, but I will gladly come back here for any services that I am too lazy to do or do not have the typical tools to do. In fact, it is almost time for me to buy my wife a brand new car (typical.... I get a used 2-year-old car while she gets a brand new one....joys of being married, I suppose haha).. we might have to come back to find her a nice new Lexus soon. read more

We were extremely interested in 2 vehicles, but quickly learned that they do not negotiate. They call this gimmick "no hassle" buying. Interesting concept. They set the price not only on their vehicle, but on the trade as well. No negotiation. I am not sure I understand or can even comprehend a one-way deal model and why anyone that would participate in a screw job hiding under the cover of "we are here for you." My recommendation is that if you are a planning on spending 30, 40, 50K on a vehicle, find a place that understands the art of a business deal, unless you a sucker. read more

I choosing to write a review, something I would normally not do... I feel like I have to share my story though, as I am in complete shock as I write this. My experience with Lexus of Naperville, and more specifically the General Manager, Eric Matway, has been no the oddest interaction I have ever had with a dealership. I will forego the start of the deal, where they admittedly were less than upfront about a few key details I was inquiring about. This being a car I am purchasing sight unseen, from Arizona, there were a few points I wanted to iron out, and that's where the madness started. Alas, we moved forward... Contract signed, funds from USAA sent, and confirmed received by the dealership... The funds were sent via ACH, as stated by USAA, and personally signed and agreed to by Mr Matway, the GM, per the dealers funding request. This is where things take a more, almost personal turn. I received a call from Mr Matway, and he let me know that they do not accept ACH draws as a form of payment for vehicles. I then spoke to USAA and was able to verify a check could be overnighted, if ACH was returned. His reply was that they would not accept any checks from USAA, they will only accept a bank wire?! This was a certified used Lexus, nothing fancy, possibly the cheapest car on the lot. They made sure to treat me as if I owed THEM something for being interested. I had much higher expectations for Lexus as a brand, choosing to work with someone as small minded as Mr Matway was a poor decision. In speaking not only to USAA, but several other corporate Lexus dealers in my area, this is completely abnormal. Mr. Matway has no one to hold him accountable, and that is unfortunate for Mr. Wolf, and his family of dealerships. Lexus of Naperville is not a business I would EVER recommend anyone to frequent if at all possible. The unprofessionalism literally cost me 400$ in a cancelled trip to pick up my vehicle. So I haven't purchased yet so this may need to be adjusted to account for the complete process to include the sale of the vehicle but so far so good! I was met by Dan Foster when I came in. Honestly, I came in ready to be like "I'm just looking!" and keep the sales people at arms length but I didn't have to with him. He was very nice, super knowledgeable about the vehicle that I looked at, and the best part about him was that he was so NOT pushy AT ALL. He let me ask a million questions (and I really did ask 100000 questions) without feeling rushed, feeling like he was pushing his own agenda, or making me feel like he was annoyed. He also made himself available for us when we were short on time so that my husband could come in a test drive the vehicle. My first visit I brought my kids with (I didn't have a choice- not ideal) and he never was bothered by it... he let them get into the vehicles and allow them to just be excited kids. I told him that I wasn't looking to buy for probably about a month or so and also told him that this wasn't the vehicle I had had in mind for purchase and his demeanor never changed and he simply told me that if I give him enough notice that he could like get whatever vehicle I was looking for w the options that I wanted. Frankly, I had not had the greatest experiences in the past during my vehicle purchases so my expectations were low re: the sales folks so I honestly planned on being on guard and ready to put up a fight w the sales person pushing his own agenda. I was very pleasantly surprised and hope that if we choose Lexus for our purchase that it continues in this way. We haven't picked out the vehicle we want to purchase yet but Lexus of Naperville so far has been the best experience so far between all the dealerships that I have been to as it relates to the knowledge and bedside manner of the sales person and the overall experience. Vehicle shopping is hard. It's a big decision and you're spending so much money so it takes time and I'm glad to know that there are actually dealerships that seem to understand that and are respectful of their customers. Vehicle shopping would be so much nicer of an experience if the sales people were as nice, polite and considerate of the customer's wishes (not calling all the time, being pushy, etc.) as Dan was for me. However, Brent found my mom an RX and we worked out the numbers and a pick up date. Mom gets a call. The car is sold. No, they found someone that would pay more. Well, Brent found another RX. Mom gets a text that the car is sold too. Why didn't he check the availability before promising cars to customers. He told mom three times he wasn't running her credit. After we left my mom got an alert. He ran the credit. These are dishonest and fast talking sales people. We are a Lexus family. They will never get our business. read more

I've been in the Lexus family for a number of years and after a short stint of shopping around online, I actually on a whim decided to purchase my first ever 'new car'. Lexus of Naperville was one out of two in my area that had the exact color option and packages/trim that I was interested in. Anyone that knows anyone that knows me, can understand I am quite OCD to the details and it's always the little things that matter. My inquiry was responded to by Nick by the very next business day (I inquired online via Saturday or Sunday after hours). I went in on a Monday morning and within 2 hours, I was outside with a new car. The sales experience couldn't have been anything "less" than that - it wasn't sales, it was the build of a new relationship. Never once did Nick or the finance team try to pressure or annoy me into purchasing anything I did not need nor want. Sure, they did bring up a few items that may pique my interest but that was it. Shortly after my purchase I did notice a very light scuff in the interior, this was remedied immediately and I also have to give my hats off to the service department for their quick and accurate turnaround. This may be the start of a new relationship and I'm proud to say it started and was first earned by Nick. This last deal was really frustrating as the sales manager and sales person discussed this with both me and my wife. I heard all about how they wanted to earn our business back, the free car washes (really) and jiffy service. But the bottom line is what got me only discounting the car $1500. We ended up going to McGraph in Westmont and were very please with our deal which saved us over $3,ooo ADDITIONAL dollars. Needless to say we will not be going back to Naperville again to purchase a new RX350. They also had false advertising regarding top dollar for trade in which turned out to be false. He attempted to sell us one of several packages, which we declined; he was visibly disappointed, and his attitude went from friendliness to fairly cold. In fact, he told my wife and I that he didn't give a [expletive] whether we purchased one of the packages or not because eventually Lexus was going to get our money anyway. I shared this with our salesperson, who told me the new car sales manager would follow up, but I have not heard from him. We chose to lease from this dealership over another primarily because I gave my word to the salesperson that I would lease a car from the dealership. Lessoned learned. I will never commit to buying or leasing anything from a vehicle dealer. Yesterday night we bought our first Lexus GX460. The sales process itself was pretty smooth, maybe because I went to check the vehicle a night before and then emailed our salesman all requested paperwork before coming to sign the contract. Was a little disappointed that when we came to the dealership with my wife yesterday we was asked to sign some documents right away without seen a car even everybody new that this is gonna be her ride, and she never saw it. I know - it was dark and rainy outside and they should of bring the vehicle in, but never did. Finance manager did a nice job and we ended up buying some warranty on the truck, even it was in good technical condition- but it still was previously owned. After signing the contract we've been offered to transfer all the belongings from our trade in vehicle to the new purchased OUTSIDE ! 8pm, rain, wind... After we refused to do so, salesman had to bring the car in. Now in the good lightening we understood why they were always keeping it in the shade: - tan carpet and floor mats were very dirty. - a lot of scratches all over. - light color seatbelts are so stained and greasy that I thought before that they were black. I get it! We are buying pre-owned vehicle, but we are buying it from the Lexus dealership! They could clean the vehicle nice so it would be no shame to put it under one roof with a same brand. Unfortunately this is not all. This morning my wife got a ticket for parking on the street by her office without a city sticker. As we found earlier the old sticker was never transferred on the new car. After I called dealership to find out what was the reason - I was rudely told by the manager that this is not their responsibility to do so. OOOOK, but please why didn't you at least tell me: "Hey listen Mr.Max we transferred your license planet only the windshield sticked you should peel off and put on your new car". Or at least: "sorry we missed it, but we will mail it to you shortly". Please... Right now we are still exited to own a new vehicle. And no matter the experience still looking forward to enjoy our first family trip... Dear managers! You should not let the brand like Lexus appear in situation like that. Unplanned purchases are always with some trepidation; we were not planning anything, but last summer a vehicle appeared in the showroom at "L of N," and it would not 'go away'. Every time we came into the store, it was still there. Summer turned to fall and a few days before official winter, our purchase was negotiated. Two exceptional members of the sales staff are Sal and Tony, who made the deal possible and fair-minded. The process was rather long, because we (my wife and I) needed extra time to decide. We 'kicked the tires' for nearly five weeks, and these gentlemen accommodated our dance without being pushy or intrusive. It was a nice experience. Our trade-in was given the best dollar value, while the new vehicle's price and after-purchase packages (extended warranty, 3M shield, special coating, pre-paid maintenance, etc.) were negotiated to honest price points.
