His enthusiasm and excellent communication skills clearly demonstrated his expertise and experience in the field. When the inspection for both pests and field mice was needed, Matt and LuLu handled the attic inspection. They were super friendly, meticulously thorough, and highly professional, which made me feel completely comfortable and confident in their findings. For the initial exclusion work, Dakota and Josh were amazing. They were extremely respectful and completed the necessary tasks with impressive efficiency. For a follow-up, Joel was personable and easy to talk to, patiently answering all my questions. Dakota has been the consistent contact for the final exclusion steps. His patience, diligent work ethic, and apparent comfort with heights are truly commendable. Throughout this entire process, which includes routine pest control alongside the exclusion work, the customer service has been exceptional. Their consistent communication and remarkable friendliness set them apart. The downfall was I was charged additional $291.19 Without explanation or authorization. When I called to request a refund she stayed she will call me back. I didn't receive a called back that day. Unexpectedly, I did receive a call the following day with apologies and a refund. The company showed professional candor, readily accepting responsibility for the fault on their end. With the second exclusion step now complete, the current lack of mice activity is encouraging. First and foremost I am so lucky I came across Berrett Pest Control to do my WDIR for my Refi for my VA loan. From Abby over the phone to Carl who came out and performed the inspection, I couldn't have found two more nicer, knowledgeable and helpful people in the business. I would tell anyone if they are searching for a reputable company, don't search any further than Berret Pest Control. Carl was friendly, personable, knowledgeable, wasn't intimidating. He actually answered my questions and while he worked paid attention to me. That is really important to me. There is nothing worse than asking someone a question and there is awkward silence or they give me an answer that wasn't related to my question. I guess the word is rapport. Carl is awesome and I would have said that even if I had failed the inspection, I gained trust for this company right from the beginning. That being said, I did pass, and I was worried about some wood rot, but Carl assured me right away and not needing to wait until he was done that I was ok. It was a relief knowing I was in the right hand if I hadn't passed. He provided me with copies, and they were able to work with my bank to direct bill. That is amazing because I didn't have the money to pay and they kept the process from being delayed for 2 weeks. So back to Carl one more time, he was awesome, awesome personality, great demeanor and very respectful to our property. OH, and they came out the same day!! Who does that? We signed a contract with Berrett to do our pest control at our business. Knowing full well we have to have service every month per city health inspectors as I stated to them at the time of setting up service, they agreed & supposedly set me up for every month service. Jan 2025 they showed up & did their job. I was billed towards the end of Jan for the following month (Feb). The next time they showed up was March only after I called & complained that it has now been 2 months since the last service, yet they billed me. Fast forward 2 more months with regular service, & here we are with the same issue again. Billing me & not showing up. They serviced May 7, billed me on May 28 & still to this day have yet to show up. After I called them a second time regarding their breach of contract, I decided to cancel do to their failure to hold up to their end of the agreement. Now they are billing me for the remainder of the contract for which they initially broke. I'm pretty new to yelp so hopefully this works. First off Darren is amazing. He listens to all of my concerns and does his job with ease! He is always kind,courteous, and respectful. My mother is very old and disabled so I come sit with her when he comes (to open doors, let in dogs etc) he makes sure he calls us when he is on the way so we have time to be ready. Great service! Customer service seemed to have some phone issues for a while so that was kind of annoying but we haven't had any problems getting through here lately yay for that. I spoke with Candice who was as nice as could be. I got a little chuckle out of her country twang. She answered every question I had joyfully and even said she would keep my momma in her prayers. Customer service with a heart. You can't beat that. I love her I will definitely ask for her from now on. Overall berrett is great and we will be staying for years to come. After a couple years of service with Berrett Pest Control, I am rewriting my review. The service was fine, and probably kept some bugs at bay, but I had to call and use the "if you see a bug in between services, we'll come back and spray" feature of the plan many, many times. We are clean, tidy people, and had a messy, dirty neighbor, so some bugs were expected, but for the amount we were paying, I was hoping for a better result. They also never listened to me about needing the 30 minute warning of when they were coming. (What is already promised with the service.) They came multiple times unannounced, once when I was in labor, and once when I had a newborn and woke him up. I called 3 times to tell them I needed a head's up or I would be cancelling, and they supposedly made notes on my account. They ended up giving me one quarter for free, but again, the service wasn't even worth it. read more

Kayce has been very impressive and much appreciated in his start as our mosquito treatment technician. I told him on his first visit that we were still having a problem with mosquitos this season. He then promptly did a property survey, including the foliage area where they are worst. He then told me very precisely how and when he planned to come back and treat our property. He was true to his word and came back several days later with all of the tools and chemicals to perform the treatment. It is too early to tell if his work gets the mosquitos under control, but Kayce's game plan was impressive as well as his ability to keep his schedule commitment in spite of storm conditions that disrupted his ability to do the treatments. I am also confident that Kayce will do whatever needs to be done to control the mosquitos. read more

I had read great reviews about this business and saw Angel's name quite a bit and for very good reasons. He happened to be the tech for our area (76133), for the initial and then for the first quarterly visit. Both times Angel has been great- very friendly and it seems he is very happy to do the job, he is also very educated on the spray/ treatment. He mentioned he will mostly be our tech every visit which makes us happy. The groupon was a plus and it ended up in us getting a routine plan for the year, which we think is reasonably priced. I also enjoy the online portal which is very detailed and lets us know of upcoming treatment visits plus any outstanding invoices to take care of. Thankful to find a great company that we can trust and thanks so much to Angel, we are very happy that he is our guy! :) read more

After having a terrible experience with another Winchester company, which will remain nameless here, I was happy to have ended up with Barrett Pest & Termite Services. I did not have to wait weeks for a return call only to end up with a cancelation. No, Barrett Pest contacted me within 24 hours after I submitted their online form. And they showed up days later, not weeks, and on the promised time. No 4-hour window. The technician, Jim, was professional and courteous, taking the time to explain what was going on with the carpenter ants, wasps, and yellow jackets, and what the treatment would be. He even captured the queen. I'm glad their competitor failed to provide me with any customer service. I have no doubt that I will be better off using Barrett Pest for all my future needs. read more

I have been using Berrett pest for years, I have never had anything but excellent service. I have had the same technician for almost the entire time I've used them (over 5 years). He is pleasant, professional, answers all of my questions and takes any concern I have seriously. I have pets and he makes certain to remind me if I need to keep them away from anything he has sprayed, but also won't use anything that could hurt them. I highly recommend them - they perform quarterly service for me - they always spray around the pool equipment outside and knock down wasp nests for me, we have a lot of wasps! Tony, my technician, is a great representative for their company. He always calls before arriving and sometimes gets to me early, if I'm home. read more

Deion showed up on time, followed up with our concerns we had (with recently noticed bugs inside/outside the property) and addressed/solved these issues. The assurance/confidence Deion provided, made my wife & I feel great! Berrett Pest Control is extremely lucky to have Deion on their team. These people are not only dishonest and manipulative, but they also take advantage of the elderly. I am a 72 year old who was promised that they would cure my mosquito problem. Not only did they not cure it over a 5 month period, but they charged me a cancellation fee of $144.51. They never informed me that there was a cancellation fee. They did not give me any chance of having them come finish any so-called agreement... they just posted the charge to my account. If I could give them a minus 12 stars... James is a personable and friendly technician who offered a lot of background information about the types of pest problems in North Texas homes. He was quick and efficient and left so quickly after the service that I failed to get his card or, I am embarrassed to admit, his name. I signed up with Barrett several years ago at they agreed to spray my whole property for mosquitoes and match the price my previous company has given me. There was a constant turnover in employees who came out to service our yard. Every new person world day they couldn't do the whole lawn unless we signed up for Platinum service. We pushed back pointing to what they agreed to do. Now, our technician of several years has retired. Again, they're insisting they won't do the whole yard without a 50% increase in price! We cancelled with them. I do not recommend this company. read more

However, the technician Austin Alvarado did such a great job. He was so professional, thorough and polite. He made sure to get all the areas of concern addressed. He did a fantastic job. Robert is not only a great technician but I would also say that he has become a friend. He's very trustworthy, knowledgeable in all things bugs and rats, and really gets in the head of those pests to know just how to treat my house. I had a HUGE ant problem that invaded my house and due to Robert's many visits, they disappeared.
