Not only that, but they send u digital files of your pictures if you're interested, which is great for digital storage. I had one roll of 35mm film to process and in total it cost me about $35. I went in to get 2 rolls and 2 disposables developed and honestly the scans were fine but is it worth what you're paying? Nope. I print my scans so I always have to go high res and was anticipating paying between $10-15 per roll/disposable but was shocked when it was $25 each. Totally on me for not checking their pricing before I got there but I truly didn't anticipate the cost. $110 for 2/36 + 2/26 feels steep. When I picked up my negatives I expected to have them cut and stored in the sleeves like most places do but they were just rolled up in the envelope that was used to drop off. Okay service and product but not worth the price when you can hit up a film lab in the South Bay or mail Harvey Film Lab. Overall, this place is fine for convenience if you're local to the area but if you have time I'd rather recommend other options that have just as quality scans and at a more affordable price. read more

Loved Berryflash! Went to get my infant daughter's passport photo taken. Nick was incredibly friendly, quick and awesome at working with babies. We were in and out in under 20 min. Passport photo for two pics was about $16 and some change. Parking is super easy for this photo lab since it is in a strip mall. Berryflash can also take any of your digital pictures and color correct them before printing. Awesome find since other places (like Costco) don't do that. I highly recommend this place for any personal photos or passport photos you are looking to get printed! read more

Going to be honest I have yet to find a film development place I really LOVE in LA. First time coming here and brought 2 rolls of B&W 35mm film. My own fault for not looking up prices before but it's 25 a pop (before taxes) for B&W 35mm film scans only which I think is pretty pricey and not even for a super quick turnaround. (I dropped off on Friday and got Wednesday afternoon). On top of that, one of the rolls came back unexposed (which easily my fault) but they only give you a $10 refund on that....places I have been previously will fully refund you if there are no photos show up. They're perfectly nice I just found it overpriced for what they offer and am still on the hunt for a great place in LA. Limited hours only open on weekdays (which is typical) but easy to park in the Ralphs lot. read more

I really hate to take the time to write a negative review but, I've now had three separate bad experiences at Berryflash. I keep coming back because they're fast and affordable compared to the nearby competition, but they've now lost six rolls of my film and claimed they were "blank." Each visit, I thought wow, that's really odd? I shoot dozens of rolls of film a month, in over 10 years of shooting film I'll get maybe one or two "blank" rolls every few years. Somehow in less than six months Berry Flash has claimed six of my rolls were blank. In the same time period from the same cameras, none of my rolls from I took to a competitor came back as blank. I never got a straight answer from Berryflash, its really easy to just blame "user error" and move on. But to be honest the rolls they did develop came back with very weird and saturated colors on film stocks that I'm deeply familiar with. Ektar and Porta with a heavy magenta cast and splotching. It's a bummer, all I wanted to do was support a photo lab near me but my only guess is a few of the people in the back are massively under-qualified and too inexperienced to be turning around rolls of film that quickly, mistakes are clearly being made consistently and I will no longer come to this lab, too many lost moments. read more

Went to Berryflash because my friend told me it was the best place to go. Unfortunately I can't say the same. Had two disposables from recent trip to Portugal & two disposables I found that I had never gotten developed. Ordered scans and prints for all four cameras. Was told I'd receive an email with the scans indicating that the prints were ready. Didn't receive an email for over a week so I decided to call. Went to voicemail and left a message asking about my photos with a callback number and never received a response. Finally went into the shop to ask about my photos. No apology for not receiving my scans or for not responding to my voicemail. Turns out two disposables came up as "empty" which I assumed were the two I randomly found in my house. Was told I'd still need to pay for processing for those, which I understood. Then they "resent" the scans to my email. Either some weirdo out there has my photos or they never sent them at all. Don't know which is worse. Then they told me they don't have my prints because they forgot to print the photos. So I waited while they printed the photos. They didn't charge me for the prints since they admitted they messed up in this case. Came home & downloaded the scans to find that only one of my cameras from Portugal came through as well as one old camera. Very odd. Not sure how it would have came up as empty. (Lost the photos from the favorite part of my trip.) Also, some of the scans from the old camera are in both folders in the file transfer. Some of the prints were not scanned. Whole thing was weird and expensive and I won't be going back. Disappointing considering all the other reviews are good. read more

Literally in the parking lot of this business with a huge smile on my face typing this because 1. They deserve it, 2. I know if I don't do now, chances are I won't do later haha AWESOME PLACE. Anyways, I was freaking out cuz I'm a full time procrastinator and it's my boyfriends birthday wanted to get him a personalized mug and I couldn't find a place that would make my mug in the two days I needed it (except one other place that wanted to charge me 80 for same day process), a friendly girl helped me over the phone and even when I when I was desperate she never took advantage and was so accommodating to my requests WITHOUT my even asking. Found out I could get mug within the next day AND for literally 1/4 the price of the other place. I was in disbelief. Thrilled. Down. Sign me up. And just when I thought it couldn't get better within two hours I get an email saying the mug is ready for pick up. Thank you so much, sincerely, it seems like a dumb mug but for me it's the perfect present for my loved one at the moment I needed it. Here's a picture of it. I am making a shirt for my dad's birthday and needed to get the final design in today! There was a photo I wanted to use, but I only had a negative of it, so I called a ton of places to see if any of them could turn that into a photo. Some places said they couldn't, others didn't know what a negative was at first. I called one place that said they couldn't, but I should try Berry Flash. I did, and the gentleman was so helpful (I'm so sad I didn't get his name!), but said that even with an expedited fee, the soonest they could have it back was three days from now. He said, however, that MAYBE they could do it faster if I took it to the lab location. He told me where it was and transferred me to them, where I spoke to Natalya (sorry if I misspelled that!). She was so sweet and said if I could bring it within the hour, they should be able to have it ready for me by end-of-day. When I came in immediately, she and the receptionist met me with smiles and she totally followed through! I was so excited to have the picture digitized! (I'm not using it in the end for the shirt, but if I hadn't gone through this, I would have wondered and probably kicked myself for not trying...) THANK YOU ALL!!! read more

Highly Recommended! I wanted to have a picture on my iPhone enlarged and the results were beyond my expectations. I was told by another photo lab that enlarging it to the size I wanted (8" x 10") would result in "low resolution". Berryflash Photo Lab couldn't have gotten it more perfect as well as printing two different versions of the same picture within one hour. On top of that at a great price. I can't say enough about this place and I will definitely be taking all my projects to them in the future. read more

I have had two great experiences here. The first time I went in with over 200 photos to do a powerpoint. As soon as they heard I was a teacher I received a great discount and very quick service. Costco told me it would take 3 weeks and Berryflash did it in 2 days. I got the CD's and a fresh set of prints for no charge Just yesterday I went in with a photo of the teachers at my school to put on a poster for the LAUSD teacher's strike. They give me a great price on the one print I got. When I called to order 10 more they were ready in 30 minutes and did not charge me for them because they were being used for our strike posters. My colleague was in need of digitizing some old 35mm slides so we looked around and found Berryflash Photo Lab. They had the best price in town and excellent reviews so we gave them a shot. They didn't disappoint. We got the digital photos on two formats: through email and on a USB drive. Took 2 days. Quality was very good, especially considering they were about 30-40 years old. MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION UP THE STREET ON SEPULVEDA BLVD, NORTH OF NATIONAL BLVD.!!! I've been going to Berryflash for years when I need passport photos for traveling. I pulled up to the old location in the shopping center today and was disappointed that it wasn't there. I checked on Yelp and realized that the address is different. I'm so glad that I checked Yelp for the new address! It's half a block away north on Sepulveda on the west side of the street. It is across the street from Maple Tree Academy. There is a free parking lot in the back. The entrance is at the front of the building. There is no sign in the front but Berryflash is there! Stephanie who is beautiful, friendly, and knowledgeable, helped me with the passport photos which I need for my visa. She was amazing, so kind and patient! Anyway, I'm happy that Berryflash is there. My consulate asked for 5 photos 30x40mm with a white bottom border of 7mm. This is not a standard size and the photo lab would have to go an extra mile to execute the request.
