The shrimp and octopus tasted fresh, but the sauce had an overpowering smoky flavor that felt out of place and overwhelmed the seafood. The skirt steak fajitas were the best of the three dishes. The steak was well seasoned, but it was also quite tough. For nearly $70 for three items, I expected much better quality and flavor. I do plan to give El Asadero another chance and will update my review after dining in, although there really shouldn't be a difference in food quality between eating in the restaurant and ordering takeout.
