    stuffed flounder

I came here for lunch with my family on a Sunday afternoon. I'm surprised there's a Cuban restaurant in Fort Lee which usually just has Asian restaurants. Also, they have their own parking lot which was rare in Fort Lee. We ordered the tamale appetizer, the Cuban sandwich, the pernil, and the stuffed flounder. The waiter was super nice and actually said the stuffed flounder was his favorite dish. The food was fresh and delicious, the stuffed flounder was definitely the standout dish. It's a dish I don't see much on menus in other restaurants. I also really liked the fresh homemade plantain chips that came with the Cuban sandwich. They have lunch specials on weekdays so I would definitely come back!

I've been to Kuba a bunch of times now.. at least four times, enjoying brunch, dinner, and their late-night menu with drinks and music. The atmosphere is inviting, with beautiful interior décor and a clean, well-maintained space. The service is excellent, the bartender is friendly and he makes bomb drinks. The food is delicious. They have live music... they had a dj once but not sure if that still happens. I also appreciate the convenience of their parking lot. I think they need to have the Crab Rangoon as a regular appetizer on the menu.... It was a Valentine's day special but so amazing! I did order it a week or two after Valentine's Day, and they still were able to make it. However, I'm not sure if it's something they'll have all year around.

Came here on a Saturday night with reservations for 2. The place has a parking lot and a lot of street parking. They had a band playing which was very good. I ordered a virgin passion fruit mojito, the creamy chicken, the arroz con pollo, with a side of rice and beans. Everything was good. We also ordered the churros and tres leches which was good as well. Good service and good food.

I was craving chicharron so I ordered some from here. I also got some other things to pick from and everything was very good. The chicharron was crunchy and delicious. The empanadas were very tasty, croquettas made of ham were delicious, the Bao buns very good. Everything we ordered was very and I recommend this place.

Just a disclaimer! You'll enjoy this restaurant if you want Cuban food. It's advertised as Cuban-Asian fusion, but 90% of the menu is Cuban dishes. There's only a few Asian inspired dishes randomly scattered on the menu like fried rice, poke bowls, and bao buns. No kimchi, no bulgogi, no noodles, no curry, no spring rolls, no sushi. Very little fusion between the two cultures at all. With that out of the way... I've been here a couple of times to either grab a drink at the bar or dine-in. Always a positive experience. Good food, good drinks, good service, good music, and dancing... I can't complain. My go-to dish is the churrasco, a 14 oz grilled skirt steak with chimichurri. It comes with a side of either rice or maduros (sweet plantains). It's very filling and the steak is juicy and tender. The bartenders do an excellent job with the cocktails. Never had a drink I didn't like! They have live music or a DJ on the weekends. Yes, there's dancing... Yes, it gets loud... hide ya kids ;) just kidding :-)

The inside is super cute and has a speakeasy ambiance and vibe, which I absolutely love. It still has that bar and restaurant atmosphere with the large tv behind the bar. Service is good, they don't forget about you. However, the drinks are pretty but weak, especially when they're like $14 each, it can certainly use a little more spirit. The appetizers were my favorite, especially with the sampler option, you get a little bit of everything. My favorites were the empanadas and ham croquettes, we didn't even get to the bao buns, but I'm sure they will be good tomorrow when I hear them up. The paella was decent, but the best part is by far the meats, the seafood was good minus the mussels because for me it was slightly chewy. I enjoyed the shrimp, squid, and baby scallops. Overall, it was a great spot to try out, and I'd definitely try some of their desserts the next time around.

The restaurant was pretty busy with a couple of large parties including our own but they managed the service very well! Quite surprised to be honest haha The overall feel of the place gives an intimate setting which would be ideal for a date night for sure. The food: I love it! The sampler I was BOMB, it was nice to truly get a bit of some of the popular items on the appetizers. My favorite were the Bao buns, HIGHLY recommend those. The fried rice, was pretty good. If I'm being honest it wasn't anything spectacular, BUT it was good. If I ever go back, I'd try other things under their main entrees. Overall I'd totally recommend this place 10/10! Ps the mojito = GET IT !

Came here on a whim to try it out. Was not disappointed at all! Service was great and food came out super quick! Not to mention it was delicious!! Some food has to be ordered 30 mins ahead but it is worth the wait since it takes some time while eating the appetizers! The ambiance is good as well! Recommended!

I've been to this place before it became Kuba. This place used to be a Korean restaurant and bar. Kuba was smart enough to close up their drive way and only have one way in and one way out this way only people that actually want to dine here and park here. I remember this place being darker with less lighting, but the ambiance and lighting that they put in definitely brightened up the place. My wife and I came here on a date night and we got to sit at the bar finally without kids. The bartender was good and provided excellent service. Felt like he knew everyone there. I'm assuming it's because they were all locals or regulars that come in for the same drink and dish. The food was alright. It wasn't amazing. I didn't think it had lots of flavor. I did give this place 4 stars because of the live music that was there and the bartender making good drinks. Besides that, the place wasn't anything special. Just good times with good people.

We had a great time! The food was quick, fresh, and absolutely delicious. It's a perfect spot for a date night -- they even had music, which added to the atmosphere. The sangria was amazing too!"

Please don't ask for modifications on anything they make - just trust them and have the true experiencia cubana - they know what they're doing. :) It's a sweet, tiny spot with a cute counter to enjoy your feast. She decided to come on a Saturday night as they have a live DJ. The restaurant has valet parking, but my husband and I opted to park in a local parking garage and walk over. It was about two blocks. The place is absolutely stunning! It is located right across from the city where you can enjoy beautiful views of the skyline and water. The restaurant has several gorgeous chandeliers and a very upscale vibe. The dining area seemed to be split in two and we sat in what seemed to be the main dining area, with the bar. But there was another extended area beyond. I was completing dry January so opted to have a mocktail. I had a guava margarita mocktail and let me tell you... This was the best mocktail I've ever had! A lot of times when I order one it just literally tastes like soda. I'm not sure exactly what they put into this one, but there was a smoky finish that made it taste like there was mezcal. Even my husband was surprised at how delicious it was and how much it resembled an alcoholic drink. I was elated to actually have a delicious tasting non-alcoholic drink. (For once) To eat, my husband and I shared the antojitos sampler. This made more sense for us than getting the individual appetizers we got - as that way would have been more expensive and we wanted to be able to try multiple things. The sampler came with ham & cheese croquetas (which were my husband's fave) mixed empanadas, maduros rellenos, queso Fritos y chicharrones. The fried cheese, maduros & chicharrones were my fave even though it was all amazing. For dessert, we had flan and sadly that was a miss for me. My grandmother's Puerto Rican flan will always top any that I try, so idk why I try lol Their spin is to add pineapple and I didn't like it. All in all, it was a wonderful birthday celebration and the birthday girl enjoyed the food & the vibe. Thanks for having us Son Cubano! I will be back to try your brunch!

The food was mediocre, and the noise level was so high it made the whole experience less enjoyable. Maybe that's why our waiter kept mixing up drink orders. The woman who answered the phone also lacked basic courtesy. When I called to ask if they could accommodate a party of seven, she said "yes" and immediately hung up. No "thank you," no "see you soon," no request for a name. Just... click. We later noticed on our bill that it was "Havana Thursdays" with a pre-fixe dinner option, something no one bothered to mention. Why keep that a secret? And by 10:30 the place was a ghost town--no last call, no notice, nothing. Overall, communication was poor and everything else was just mediocre. Do better.
