We came here for a high school reunion gathering. We worked with Joscelyn and she made everything smooth and easy. We had just over a hundred people show up. Plenty of room upstairs (especially with the patio). Great food (I had a brisket sandwich and contemplated getting more because it tasted so good) and our bartenders kept everyone happy. We came for wings & pizza, and it did not disappoint. They have a ample of outdoor seating. Their indoor seating seemed a little cozier than what we wanted to experience this visit. The server at the bar seemed genuine with their suggestions for beers & food. I had wings with buffalo, and asked them to make them crispy. Their was a lot of meat on them, not sure if they truly smoked them or if they just put smoke flavors -- I will have to scope that out next time. The pizza was great -- leftovers were still great! Great, laid back spot for brews and good bites. Came here for a late lunch/early dinner and enjoyed their outdoor seating to soak in the CO sunshine. Nachos were stacked with toppings and the pizza was perfectly balanced; crisp crust and also tons of toppings. their kitchen does not hold back on the flavor! Service - order at the bar and pick up the food at the back. Staff was all very friendly and willing to offer suggestions on what to order. read more

Okay so I came here when I was not hungry--but when handed a menu I KNEW i HAD to get something. I had no choice--everything looked so fantastic. So I went ahead and got some tacos--and let me just tell you...... I should not have eaten them because my belly was FULL--but i ate them anyway and my mouth was IN HEAVEN. AND LET ME JUST SAY I WISH I HAD SEVEN MORE-- Okay but it wasn't just the food that I admired--it was the atmosphere. Felt like I was in my "cool girl era" just being there! My favorite worker, personally, is miss Ashlyn. If you go in while she's working, know that you've been blessed. What a gal. Despite the cool girl time, FANTASTIC tacos, and great worker--it was something I wouldn't be able to keep returning to because 1) I live in Wyoming and 2) i can't afford it. Sadly had a terrible experience. Imagine ur starving and you get the most mid meal of your life. Got chips and salsa, nachos, Italian sandwich and none of it had flavor. No dressing on the Italian sandwich menu description did not match the ingredients. The cheese on nachos was curdled and flavorless also. The mozzarella sticks were the only thing that was alright tasting but still pretty mid. Wish I could get a refund because it was expensive too. (Also you have to serve yourself). How do you mess up chips and salsa?? No salt on the chips no flavor in the salsa. Probably wouldn't get any food here if you don't want to be disappointed. read more

Really nice brewery with a nice vibe. I had a couple slices of pizza with various toppings and found them all to be very good. The beer was nice. I chose an amber that I was very pleased with. Bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the various beers they offer. The location is cool and kinda sneaks up on you. You're not in the mountains but you know you are near. I enjoyed this brewery and would recommend it to anyone. Give yourself a little treat! read more

Berthoud Brewing in Loveland is such a hidden gem on the west side! Tucked away just enough to feel like a local secret, but absolutely worth the visit. The pizza is so good-crispy crust, creative toppings, and always fresh. Their microbrews are solid, with a great variety to please just about any palate. I especially love chatting with the bartenders...they're friendly, fun, and make you feel right at home. The space itself is clean, cozy, and really well maintained, which always stands out to me in a brewery. One small confession: I'm still confused by the name. Berthoud Brewing... in Loveland? (Berthoud is the neighboring town, so it throws me off every time!) But hey, name mystery aside-it's a great spot. I would recommend for a casual night out, great drinks, and laid-back vibes. read more

We came in about a hour before closing time on a Sunday and there were still quite a few people there. Staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The group decided on pizza, and an order of green Chile fries. Both were great! I could not drink that night so I skipped out on the alcohol but my girlfriend really liked the beer that she got. Very good food, very food beer, and the prices are pretty good too. Place looks like brewery and it certainly feels like a brewery. You simply walk up and and place your order and they will let you know when it's good for pickup with one of those little buzzer things. We went to the Loveland location for HH on today, Sunday, February 22nd. They advertised $10 shareables on their website. When I pointed out they charges us full price, the bartender didn't honor it and didn't call a manager over to speak to us. I had two negative experiences here this week. I came back a second time to give them another shot. I'll just mention the last one. I got BLT pizza, had sprinkles of lettuce and bacon on 3:8 pieces. Other wise cheese bread with mayo on it is what I got. I waited 40min+ for the pizza. I was the ONLY customer and employees doing everything but cook my pizza. The other customers were just chilling. Not adding tasks to employees, not ordering drinks and they were done eating. After 30 minutes I noticed how long it had been and asked, i was met with "sorry we got delayed" With what? Sweeping the floors behind no customers? I got my pizza about 10minutes later and got another apology. With a hand on my shoulder. Don't touch people either. And maybe next time have a valid excuse or give a fricken soda at the very least. Pizza tasted good and had a good chance, but All 3 I tried in the 2 visits, none were cooked enough. I was warned of this exact issue too so it's often an issue I assume if 3/3 of mine were undercooked. I sat on this review for two nights due to feeling bad it's a small local business. Unfortunately I gave the second chance and just was not impressed how my pizza delay was handled. Over 40min for ONE pizza when they had ZERO other things they were actually doing. Zero other customers aside from at my 40min mark someone ordered beer to go... they were playing on phones and mangers/owners assuming sitting at bar talking about business. I was there Tuesday around 2:30 until 315. Tall Girl was in kitchen doodling around doing anything but cooking and shorter muscled man was manning the bar. Aka sitting on phone with no customers not wondering why I was still sitting there after half hour? Maybe a refund for my pizza should have been thought about after 30 minutes let alone when I finally got it. I was originally told 15 minutes. I walked in at 10, was told "I'll check that" And comes immediately back and he says "oh just a few minutes left" what a joke. read more

Wide variety of beers and awesome food menu choices. Downstairs is more for adults and upstairs is for more for families. Service is friendly, knowledgeable, but not overly attentive. They appreciate that you settle your tab if you change floors because there is upstairs and downstairs seating. It's a friendly, casual atmosphere. read more

The food was average or below to be honest, the pizza was ok but the crust was kind of limp. The wings were under cooked and just smeared with bottled sauce. The beers were great so we would come back for drinks sometime. The service is 100 % self and they want a tip. I am noticing a lot of places trying that scam lately. I am not buying it. If I have to do all the work, I don't mind, but don't ask for money and point me to the "pick up your food" counter. The place felt like a typical sports bar slash brewery. I liked it ok. One girl in particular is oblivious of people waiting to be helped as she just talks about who can cover her shift. Additional, she has no social politeness. We stayed at the LaQuinta next door, for several days while on vacation and visited them several times while there. The food was pretty good, the craft beer was great, and the service was fantastic. We tried both upstairs and downstairs and the food was good at both. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed. We got to know the bartender/server upstairs during our stay and she was great! read more

My friend lives in Loveland and she frequents this place and for good reason! I tried 5 beers, the fire, chocolate cherry bomb, peanut butter, 8th street ale, and coffee fire, and I loved all of them! The coffee fire was probably my favorite. But I would have taken a growler of the fire as well. I love Irish reds and these beers were top notch. Smooth, creamy, and beautifully drinkable. The salad is well done per my friend it is exceptionally fresh. The pizza was delicious! I ordered the Colorado supreme, and being from California I have never had cream cheese on my pizza, it added a sweet creamy element that I didn't know pizza needed. The margherita pizza was a little bland after the supreme's punch of flavor, but it was bright and fresh. The wings are smoky and cooked to perfection. The sauce is sweet, and smoky with just a little bite. Not too much spice which I like. I would be a regular too if I lived here! And I will be back on the next visit. read more

Yall need to fix your website hours at both locations. Literally losing money. Lost mine the first time we came by. Had to call to find out if they were open. We held off on this place as it was 200 yards from our crappy hotel. We also held off on eating next door at the BBQ place and... I sure wish we didn't. The BBQ place was closed when we wanted to go. The other Berthound? Location was too. So, we got the duel option of booze and food. Beer was legit. We had a couple rounds. They have beer to go. We opted for a couple pizzas as that is supposed to be the jam out here at ghis place. We took em to go. Glad we did that because they took a bit too long to make. Luckily we drank brew as we waited so it was fine. Pizza was actually pretty good. I'd go back if passing through the area. Tons of seating. read more

We came here Saturday after a hike and there were only two other tables. The cashier was super kind and sociable which was appreciated! We ordered two pizzas and onion rings at 12:40 and did not get our food until 1:40 pm. Staff did admit to fault as the line skipped our receipt or something of that nature and the cook/owner made it right by refunding us for the two pizzas. I still give them a 4 because the pizzas here are always great and I never had an experience here that was this slow where other tables who came far after us got their food before us but hopefully they can learn from the experience altogether! read more

Might be the best brewery in Loveland. Great variety of beers that isn't just IPAs. Cool location with plenty of outdoor seating, plus they've got a good bar food menu with an awesome bbq place, White Paper BBQ, just upstairs in the same building. Staff is all incredibly friendly too. This brewery is absolutely slept on, probably just because it isn't in downtown Loveland. read more

Also after looking at the receipt we were charged for doubles when no doubles were ordered. To pay $190 and be rude interrupted by the bartender demanding a better tip is absolutely pathetic.
