Visited on a hot afternoon this past weekend. This location is huge- lots of seating area inside and out! Industrial vibes for the spacious atmosphere. Some tv's for sports enthusiasts above and behind the bar. Variety of beer options- good beer but a bit pricey- believe it was $8/pint for most beers. Also tried an appetizer- ordered the fried pickles ($9.50). These fried pickles were in spear form. Personally didn't care for the chicken strip style breading as it was too thick and salty.

We've been coming to this place for years now, back when it was Fort Collins Brewery, Red Truck, Sweetwater, and now Breckenridge. This is the best rendition yet! Every time we enter, we're enthusiastically greeted by the staff and post up at our regular spots at the bar. Before we even have to ask, our drinks are ready and waiting for us (I'm a creature of habit, so my seltzer is normally poured for me before I even sit down). When it comes to the food - the pretzel nugs stayed on the menu from Sweetwater and are a MUST. Deep fried bread with beer cheese sauce? I'll take two trays, please! We love the weekly lunch specials, and the grilled chicken sandwich (but make it fried, obviously) with the spicy orange harissa sauce, and the beer selection is large with plenty of rotators that are brewed on site. The space is large with a great view of the fermenters and now-defunct canning line in back, and large garage doors that the staff opens on the beautifully warm days we've been having. Generally we stick with the bar seats since we enjoy chatting with everyone behind the bar and either watch one of the games they have on the many screens, or play cards. They have an insane amount of events every week that pack the house - trivia, bingo, cornhole leagues, fitness classes on some weekends, you name it! In fact, we're going today to celebrate their Saint Patrick's Day party with some of their specialty green beer!

    Spring forward

The "spring Forward " is (In my opinion) the best beer on the menu. Holy Guacamole! I could drink a 30 pack of this year round. I love this beer. Breck, if you're reading this make this a year round beer!

Unfortunately this was a let down :'( The food was pretty bad, and expensive for what you got (for reference my partner got three tiny chicken tenders w/ bad fries for $15.50). The sour I ordered was more like a fruity IPA; I can't seem to find many actual sours in FoCo. I ordered fried pickles, and I couldn't finish them due to taste and how much they hurt my mouth to eat. The acoustics sucked, and children were running around. I don't think I'll be back, but they do have a lot of weekly events and games and things, so theres definitely folks that would enjoy this vibe! The fire pits outside looked very nice as well, and everything was clean.

While the building itself is not new, the brewery itself is which is Breckenridge brewery. Well, I had it just a short visit which was a quick bite to eat and a few beers. I can say that the food is amazing. The beers are even better and the staff is great. Definitely a place. I'd recommend if you're looking to have some good food and good beer And great service while in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Chips and salsa! The chips are dusted in house seasoning which offers a nice layer of flavor!

The walls are covered in old photos, which gives it that cozy, authentic pub feel. We started with the Brussels sprouts, and those were a win. I love Brussels sprouts when they've got a little sweetness to them, and these hit the spot with a nice flavorful sauce. For my main dish, I ordered the cottage pie (similar to shepherd's pie), and it was honestly really, really good. The flavors were on point, and the mashed potatoes on top were super comforting and well done. Definitely something I'd order again. The only downside was the service--it was just okay. Nothing terrible, but it definitely could've been better and more attentive. Overall, it's a solid spot with great food and a fun atmosphere. I'd come back, especially for that cottage pie.

When it comes to the size of the brewery, it's comfortable and has room to move around. There is an indoor taproom as well as an outdoor patio. The patio is a good size and there are fire pits during the cooler nights. For entertainment, there is shuffleboard, pinball machines, a wide variety of board games and a little gift shop area. They have a good sized screen for sports games and they are very kid friendly. They have clean restrooms and changing tables. For drinks and menus, they have many different beer choices, a selection of wine, visiting taps, and a few non alcoholic options such as sodas. They also offer good snacks such as pizzas, salsa platters, pretzels, burritos, chips, and kids snacks like goldfish, chips and Nutella snacks. Everything is reasonably priced and we do recommend this great spot to those with and without little ones.

It takes a lot for us to leave a one-star review, but this experience, combined with the constant turnover of beertenders over the years, has finally pushed us to that point. Tonight, at 8:45 p.m. during last call, a new beertender named Rob poured me another beer. Then, at 9:12 p.m., he came over to remind us that they had closed at 9:00. We immediately gathered our things and left, but the interaction made us feel like we were being pushed out. I didn't even finish the beer I had just been served because we no longer felt welcome. For nearly 10 years, we've never been approached like that. We've often stayed up to 30 minutes after closing to finish beers that were poured at last call, and it has never been an issue. We fully understand and respect posted closing hours, but if customers are being served at last call, they should be given a reasonable opportunity to finish those beers without feeling rushed. What made the interaction even more confusing was that Rob was still in the middle of his own closing duties, like bringing in the outdoor cushions, so it didn't appear that our presence was delaying the brewery from closing. It's incredibly disappointing that after nearly two decades of supporting this brewery and being regular customers, this was the experience we had. Between the revolving door of beertenders and the way we were treated tonight, we've decided it's time to take our business elsewhere permanently.
