I came into Best Auto Glass with a bad situation. My windshield had developed a small crack the day before that overnight had spread to over half the windshield. Best Auto Glass was able to perform my repairs the same day, give me a ride to work and help fix my broken windshield wipers. I looked up their rates on Google and they were below the industry standard so I felt like received a good deal as well. I had never replaced a windshield before so I was a little skeptical about the process after reading reviews about quote scams and scratched paint. I took all the necessary steps to protect my Jeep...copy of the email detailing the price quote, pics of my paint/dash, removed everything from the console...i was ready for battle. I arrived 10min early, the receptionist was extremely nice and had me fill out one simple form and in 5 min they were taking my car in the back to get started. I was prepared for the cheapest no frills windshield, but she said due to Jeepers requests they now carry both factory mopar windshields as well as an off brand that still has all the logos! You mean I can keep my cute Jeep grill AND rock crawlers on the side?!?! She was smiling at my excitement...bc let's be real, I was super bummed about losing my cutesy details. I immediately was skeptical again bc how much would this cost? She said she'd work out a deal for me....what about 50 extra bucks? Um.....YES. So before they started a man came to the counter (I'm assuming the owner) bc he wanted to go over in detail the difference between a factory mopar and the knock off brand. It wasn't a sales pitch...just wanted to over clarify exactly what I was buying so there was no confusion. I think this shows exceptional customer service and I really appreciated him taking the time to give me all the information. A few minutes later he came back again and asked whether or not I wanted a tint strip across the top at no charge...sure! All in all, the process took a little under and hour. I inspected the paint all around my windshield...not even a scuff and the interior was exactly how I left it. Now, I can't say anything about leaks or installment issues since it's only been a few hours, but the receptionist did tell me it comes w a lifetime warranty for anything that could arise. I walked in today totally bummed about losing my factory Jeep windshield, and walked out pumped to have a brand new replacement with tint upgrade!! Thank you guys so much! read more

The glass was installed properly but the latch was not affixed. I told the technician before I drove away, he reclined it, but did not seem concerned that it was not able to be properly attached. A couple months later, the latch fell off (and was lost). When I called to see if I could get a replacement latch, they said because I was not in the area, they could not help me at all. I stated I would buy the latch, but they were unwilling to even try to help me. Horrible customer service. read more

Great and clean job. My insurance company referred me to a different shop. After 10 days and two lies they didn't finish the job! I called these guys and explained my situation, they were very friendly and went out of their way to expatiate the glass order and fixed within 24 hours. First time at Best auto glass, and very impressed with the overall service they provided. Very upfront on cost and time to fix.

They want you to be happy. They gave me a price to replace my front windshield over the phone and honored it when I came in. They have a waiting room with a TV but I don't like to wait so I dropped off my car the night before. I picked it up the next day and they encouraged me to look over the installation before I paid. I noted one concern, the window trim didn't have a cap on the end, and they were happy to fix it. I came back later and it looked great. I paid for my window install out of pocket. Talking about it later, a friend said insurance companies in Virgina are required to cover windshield replacement without increasing your rate or charging a deductible. I haven't confirmed this but you might want to check with your insurance company. And then head over to get your window replaced. read more

They installed a rear window in my car and it leaked like a sieve. To get them to fix it I had to make trip to their location in Lorton, they smeared a tar like material on the bottom half of window, but it still leaks. I don't have time to keep making trips to Lorton so I will have to find another company to do the whole job over again. read more

I'm writing this from the waiting area and wanted to share my experience so far in case it helps someone. From googling to gathering quotes then reading Yelp and others, the process of selecting a windshield replacement company can seem a bit overwhelmingly in the DMV. The cash and insurance rates for the 5 quotes I had received were all within $75 of each other so I decided to call the top 3. When I called Best Auto Glass the choice seemed a bit clearer: 1. My call was promptly answered 2. By someone who worked at the shop (not a call center) 3. Willing to work around my schedule and conveniently offered mobile service 4. They thoroughly answered my differentiator questions and got the owner, Ali on the call to see if there were additional technical questions. I selected in-shop and arrived a few mins early for my 8:30 AM appt. I was pleasantly greeted and surprised when Ali even came out to see if I had any additional questions and then took a moment to bring me back through their really organized warehouse and repair floor to show me the process. I even saw them finishing up a large fleet job as they cleaned and vacuumed the last truck out! A family owned business like Best Auto Glass that cares about the customer, does quality work and warranties their work is inspiring! The quote on the wall of their waiting area seems to say it all (See pic)... Will update if anything differs but so far I'm pleased I found Best Auto Glass. Once the glass was replaced, I started to get dizzy. My kids were saying they were dizzy as well. And as I looked, one part of the glass was hollowed - but it was very small. Anyway, I waited a couple more days to see whether my eyes could adjust. And it didn't. When I went back to Best Auto Glass, they replaced it happily/willingly. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE ! Please do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT go here. I called these people up two times the day before to schedule my appointment. Ofcourse , the lady did not put my name in her system so I called 4 more times in the middle of my work day( first she said she forget , then she said that she would call me back, then she said she would text me , finally she said the guy would be there " soon" ).To make matters worse, she gave the technician the wrong address- so after all the waiting , I hurried out of work in order to wait some more. After the gentleman came over, he handed me a bill of $231, whereas the lady on the phone ( I wish I got her name) REPEATEDLY told me that my bill would be $195. On top of such terrible service, they were rude to me when I asked them why my bill is 32$ more than I expected. I feel like they should have paid me for dealing with their terrible , unprofessional employees and less than mediocre service. The only reason why I gave them one star was because the replaced window is still thankfully on my car. I guess they did something right. While I was out hiking, someone threw a rock through my driver's side window which also shattered the passenger's window. So I came back to find two broken windows and my purse stolen. While I was dealing with calling the credit card companies, my boyfriend called around to try to get someone who could fix my windows. He called Best Auto Glass and they said they were about to close but would stay open late for him. He drove there and they were wonderful, quick, and charged a lot less than the place that my insurance had recommended. It was such a relief to have my windows fixed less than 6 hours after they'd been broken! read more

Very strange experience calling them. The woman who answered said "hello" and then immediately put me on hold for about a minute without saying anything. When I did get to speak to her it was extremely difficult to hear her as she clearly had me on speaker phone and sounded far away from the phone. I asked several times for her to repeat herself but could never hear everything she wasShe ended up asking me about "if I had a camera on my windshield" (or that's what it sounded like she said) and I said I don't think so. Well she was asking if I have frontal collision warning or lane departure warning sensors which I do - so the wrong windshield was ordered for me. I was in the waiting room for an hour before they discovered this issue and then another hour and 15 minutes to complete the job. Didn't plan on this being a full day experience based on other reviews so I was pretty disappointed in my experience with this company. read more

I brought two cars to get replacement windows. Reza and the staff were very helpful. Each car took about an hour and the quote was the end charge (no increase in price). They also work with insurance companies to decrease the cost. They were about $100 cheaper (per car) than the well known alternatives. This place is great. I have not had one problem with the service and installation. Had to replace a broken front window due to thieves that broke the window and stole my daughter's purse. I went in a few weeks earlier for a quote, was happy with the price but not ready yet. I dropped in on a Saturday and they were able to get me in right away. They were finished in the time they said and one of the best parts?? I showed up at lunchtime and got 2 slices of pizza from them while I waited. Lol!
