Do not go here! Paid over $1000 to them & got my car back in worse condition than I brought it in. When calling to complain & figure out next steps, they are non-responsive. This was the only auto shop I could get a hold of as my usual mechanic was booked for 2 weeks... I had an overheating issue with my minivan. Alejandro said he replaced the radiator (which we agreed to) but then came back and said they noticed another leak in the tube by the temp sensor along with an oil leak and multiple other replacements which needed to be made along with the cabin air filter which would total about 1500. Well i knew for a fact that the air filter was not dirty as it was just replaced a couple days prior but I just let him talk because at that point I knew I needed to get up out of there. Terrible. Just terrible. Long review but man what a story! My husband and I had our car there for about 5 days. Dropped it off and told them we wanted a used motor replacement for my windshield wipers from pick n pull. Days of no calls and calling with no answer finally we get through to Eduardo. We ask about estimated cost of job with used motor and labor and then he tells us they already ordered and installed a brand new part for nearly 5x the price 2 days ago. They never got our authorization for the repair with a new part. We specifically wanted a used part for financial reasons. We asked to have our old motor reinstalled and the new one taken out since it was prematurely installed. Irritated with the poor communication, we decided to get a different mechanic to install a used part instead. Total miscommunication I guess on old part vs new part but mechanics are always supposed to talk to you, give an estimate and get your authorization BEFORE doing any kind of repair. When we picked up my car the engine sputtered and wouldn't start, and every light on the dash lights up. Smoke coming out the exhaust. Finally the car starts and the speedometer doesn't work. They said it must have been like that when I brought it in. WHAT?? They claim the oil has been run out and I need to now get an oil change/refill- but oil doesn't just run out. I truly believe they purposely drained it to sell me on an oil change thinking we don't understand how oil works in a car. They pulled out the dipstick and showed it was empty. FYI there is no oil leak in my car whatsoever and so it's impossible it was empty when I brought it in. The sticker on my windshield shows my next oil service date at Havoline is for this week. When they couldn't sell me on an oil change, they rushed and put non synthetic oil in probably to cover the fact that they had drained it in the first place- but my car only takes synthetic! Now I've got to take it back to valvoline to flush that crap out and get the proper oil put back in. It was best just to get our car out of that shop ASAP and take it somewhere honest. I didn't want them touching it for another minute. Dishonest. Shady. I do not trust them and refuse to ever bring my car there again. Terrible experience. Shame on you Eduardo for running such a dishonest business. Now I'm off to find a new mechanic to fix new engine problems THEY created in addition to the initial windshield wiper motor replacement. Heed my advice- GO ELSEWHERE. UPDATE- I took my car the next day to a mechanic in Vancouver- Zinda and Sons. They looked at it and within 2 hours called me back with diagnosis and estimates. They looked at my engine and found that the new issues were because a fuse had been purposefully taken out of my engine! Eduardo and his mechanics at Best Auto Repair intentionally removed a vital fuse from my car! I can't believe it and am in shock. They were angry and vengeful and dishonest and purposefully tried to damage my vehicle. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! If I could, I'd give them 0 stars. Zinda and Sons in Vancouver replaced the fuse, did my motor replacement, drained and refilled with proper oil, and it was all ready to pick up in 3 hours. read more

I had my Subaru quoted at another shop(Green Drop Garage) for replacing my cv axles and tie rods, I then called Alejandro at Best Auto and he gave me a quote immediately over the phone for a FRACTION of the price. The work was done and my car has been driving great ever since and I've taken my car for multiple things since then. They always take care of my car and are a real catch, don't go anywhere else but these guys! read more

An excellent repair shop. They fit me in to their schedule and had my car ready in half a day. Quality parts and great service. These guys know their stuff and I'll continue bringing my car to them if I need any work done. They are bilingual and speak good English and Spanish. Excelente mecánico. Awesome shop! I came in here because I needed to replace my license plates because the bolts were rusted on. They helped me remove my old plates and even bolted my new one onto my car. They were fast, efficient, and they didn't charge me for their time! Defiantly coming back here in the future for all my mechanic needs. read more

I bought a fuel pump online. It turned out to be the wrong fuel pump for my truck. Eduardo said he could "make it work" by swapping parts from my old pump. I objected to this. I could not find the right pump at O'Rileys so I went back and let him swap parts on the new and old fuel pumps and install the one I had purchased online. I wound up with gas flowing out of my tank into the street. Eduardo determined that this was the wrong pump and he blamed me for buying it even though it was obvious to him that it the wrong pump before he installed it and claimed he could "make it work". So then he buys another fuel pump and installs it, charging me twice because I bought the wrong pump that he knew was the wrong pump but he chose to install and he says it was my fault. Now the second pump does not display correctly on the gas gauge. So I go back and he says it's because he swapped the float (sending unit) from the wrong pump (not to be confused with my old pump) and installed it on the new pump. Again he says it is my fault and he does not want to work on my truck any more. Eduardo seems to be someone who does not stand by his work. read more
