Sayeed looked at my rotors and showed me that they needed to be resurfaced. I would have tore up the high end track pads I'd purchased if I'd thrown them on myself without doing this. The service, confidence and friendly attitude changed a quick run to break lugs into an afternoon hanging out at the shop. New brake pads, machined front rotors, DOT5.1 fluid swap and wheel stud conversion with 10mm spacers and my M3 has never looked (or braked) better

Sometimes when you go to a shop you feel like you might be getting the run around, or you're anxious that you're going to get charged for stuff you don't need. Not Bat City. Straight shooters, honest work, AMAZING communication with the customer. This is service with integrity. I had them install new calipers, rotors, and brake lines on all four corners, plus fresh fluid and caliper bleed. They were straightforward with their prices and timetables, even sending me pictures of work along the way. Best service I've had from any garage. They're doing really great things for some of the kids in the Oak Hill neighborhood, too. Ask Sayeed about it. I'm coming here again for sure.

After their inspection, I approved additional repairs and paid $2,006.64, picking up the car on Nov. 17. Within days, the leak was worse. Instead of one leak, I now had two, along with a strong burning-oil smell while driving. I returned on Nov. 21 and was told it was just leftover oil and that everything had been cleaned. That same evening, I discovered the car was leaking from three different places. I brought the car back again on Dec. 2. After no communication all day, I called and was told they found another leaking gasket and wanted an additional $400. I was also told that "oil leaks are tricky on Volkswagens," but a properly diagnosed repair should not turn one leak into multiple new leaks in a matter of days. At this point, I declined further work. I paid over $2,000 and ended up with a car in worse condition than when I brought it in. I requested a refund in writing and never received a response. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.

This is a very well organized business so if you're looking to trusting someone with your vehicle, this is the place to be. Sometimes they give you the same day appointments and sometimes they don't, kind of depends on how busy they are. But other than that they treat you with respect and honesty, when they tell you something wrong with your car they really mean it! Even if you research it like I did in the very beginning not knowing these guys but now that I've been with him for a few years I can truly tell you that I trust them one 100 percent. Highly knowledgable I highly recommend Lakeway business with the Austin automotive specialist! Give them a try....happy yelping!

I have been a loyal customer of Klingemann for over 5+years and have referred numerous friends and…read morebusiness clients to the Cedar Park location. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I can no longer recommend this location. I brought my 2006 Hummer H2 in for A/C repairs and an oil change. During the visit, I was charged $210 for a basic engine air filter. I questioned the price because it seemed unusually high, but was simply told, "The price is what it is" by Johnathan. To verify the pricing, I had a male friend call the South Austin location with the exact same year, make, and model of my vehicle. They were quoted $139 for the same engine air filter. I also called other automotive shops, and their prices were significantly lower. I contacted the regional manager to ask why there was such a large pricing difference between locations. He reviewed everything and confirmed that I should have been charged $139, not $210. He agreed the Cedar Park location overcharged me and approved to refund the difference. When I mentioned what the regional manager had told me, the technician, Jason, decided to insert himself into the conversation between myself & Johnathan & argued with me in the reception area in front of 3 other male customers saying something about being cheap. while Jason was arguing with me about price I asked Johnathan did you not say the $210 was for a "basic engine air filter" which he would not answer. To make matters worse, after paying for the A/C repair, my vehicle still was not fixed. There is now a loud humming noise, there is little to no airflow on fan speeds 1 and 2, and only limited airflow on speed 3. I now have to take my vehicle back for additional repairs because the original repair was not completed correctly. Since I refuse to go back to this north location I will have to travel an hour away to get my AC fixed. To his credit, the manager who was in lunch while this was happening walked in at the end & we spoke outside. He handled the situation professionally. He refunded the air filter overcharge, reimbursed me for the window switch repair that I chose not to have completed, provided $30 additional compensation for my inconvenience to drive south & sincerely apologized. While I appreciate how the manager resolved the financial issues, the experience at the Cedar Park location was unacceptable. No customer should be spoken to or argued with in front of other customers, especially after a pricing issue that management later confirmed was valid. As someone who supported this business for years and referred many people here, I'm disappointed to say I will not return to the Cedar Park location while that technician Jason is employed there. I sincerely hope management addresses these issues so other customers do not have the same experience.
