Best Burger is not the "best burger" anymore. I bought 3 burgers and all of them were cold, and we ate in. Burgers should have been hot. Told the order person burgers are cold, and he just looked at me and said, raw meat goes in and thats how it cane came out...my look was, REALLY! And he didnt offer to correct it. The chili cheese fries were a disaster....would be good to use better chili. I think chili was made of dead dog, it was horrible tasting. I've been eating at Best Burger for over 25 years and can tell you this is the best burger you will find. I too have fell for the published best burger lists with and I even did a road trip based on the book Hamburger America. Sure, Burger "connoisseurs " will be quick to tell you what is wrong with this burger and simply go off these published lists. I am not a burger connoisseur, I have eaten a lot of burgers, and this is my #1 choice. We've all seen other so called #1 burgers that have perfect beef/fat ratios and are thick and quite impossible to eat because they are overstuffed with ingredients. Well those are just gimmicks and best burger needs no gimmicks! The best burger has a great combination of toasty bread, grilled beef patty, onions, cheese, lettuce and a mustard mayo combo that I am convinced is a secret recipe. The taste is just unlike anything I can describe. Although the meat is a small patty, it is still very juicy. In its simplicity, the BB burger surpasses any other burger I have tasted. If you are looking for kobe style beef by the pound, then you will not enjoy this burger, if you are looking for great tasting burger, get your fix here! 1st Off I love best burger and have been going here for years BUT what really does it for me is when businesses close before the time listed. I manage at a franchise restaurant and this is definitely a no no. I had been calling for 10 minutes prior to closing with no answer, then they picked up the phone so the line would be busy, sent me to voice mail, then just continued to let it ring. When I pulled up the lights were out and open sign was off but there were at least 2 guys in uniform seated at a booth inside. And they just stared at my car, I didn't bother getting out because I know they would have opened the door or worse had they been open they probably would have tampered with my food. My wife and i went here before our wedding. ....fifteen years ago. My wye has been going since the father owned it. The bacon double cheeseburger is exceptional. Unfortunately, my experience at this establishment was nothing like others who love this spot. Although the staff are very friendly, to me this place is highly overrated. It's a convenience store / burger joint /Chinese restaurant with strange mixtures of odors. I ordered the Bacon & Cheese Burger combo, expecting a nice quality beef patty with flavorful bacon. Instead I received a greasy 1/8 pound patty with Monster size buns, super greasy re-fried french fries and greasy crunchy bacon. It took a dozen of napkins to just absorb half of the grease off the burger patty. I reluctantly took one bite off the sandwich and to my dismay I didn't taste any flavor or seasoning, just grease. Yuck! I get the impression that all of the food here is store bought frozen from Sam's or similar and thrown directly into the grease upon ordering. Buyer be aware!!! Eat here if you have an iron stomach, from that little bite, I got the runs and unfortunately, I had to return back to work after lunch. Good Lord I've digressed. read more

My husband has been going to Best Burger for around 16 years. He took me there 11 years ago for the first time and have been going ever since. I must say though, there special fried rice is good one day and crap the next. I think some else is making it instead of the oriental guy. There prices have gone up and it's inconvenient it's cash only. Yes there patties are thin, I told my husband every year they are thinner! LOL. Best Burger is a Missouri City classic spot. This place has great food and it is reasonable prices. You can come here and get a variety something Chinese seafood or burgers. Name suits the burger! I was in the area and it was either this or tornado burger. Both places are really good from what I've heard but I decided on this one since it was closer. I came and got a cheese burger combo for about 5-6 dollars. I picked up my order and got in the car but before I drove off I just wanted one bite. That one bite turned into me devouring the whole thing in the parking lot. No tint on my car windows but I didn't care. The location isn't...spectacular but most under the radar places with the best food aren't so I'm not complaining. My burger was hot and tasty and my fries were fresh. It's a great alternative to fast food burgers. I'll be back but next time, I'll just eat inside lol. read more

Finally braved it and tried out Best Burger after having passed this place for years! The burger was good and the crinkle fries were generous and perfectly fried. The ambience of the place is outdated, but you aren't eating there for the ambience. The food is well priced ($7) for a burger, fries, and a drink with $0.25 refills. I didn't get a chance to try their Chinese food, but the special fried rice looked so good! I'll be back to try that next time! read more

It's been a long time since I tried Best Burger......I was talking to a friend and he mentioned that he just got through having some fried rice. He said it was pretty good. Well, he was WRONG!! Althought he flavor of the rice was o.k., the beef pieces in the rice sucked. This ruined the meal for me and I threw most of it away. The problem is that it tasted like it was cooked several days ago, refrigerated, then stir fried with the rice. There is no disguising the flavor of day old steak....yuck!!! read more

Not the worst burger but far from the best. Tried the bacon cheeseburger. Bacon was good but not a fan of the wadded up pieces that must have been cooked on a wok and makes it not as easy to bite into. Thin patty like a frozen patty from the store which may have been fresh but expecting something a little more homemade considering the claim of the "best". May have considered a second try but when I asked for a refill of my Dr. P and they asked me for a quarter well that kind of bummed the deal. Wish they would have just charged my debitcard an extra .25 cents when I paid because I had no change in my pocket. Everyone gives free refills now days. Sorry best burger won't be back. read more
