I purchased a 55 inch television and mounter . The sales clerk was friendly but he kept trying to sell me things I didn't need. He gave me a delivery date and time slot 2:30-6:30. There was no show and no call. I called them to see what was happening to my delivery, as it was already 6:45. I was told it was rescheduled for delivery date a week later. No apologies unprofessional I wasted my Saturday afternoon and then he proceeded to blame me! Worst experience. I'm so disappointed, I have bought laptops and security systems with Best Buy. I am happy to update the review if i can find anything to assist in a proper resolution or place toI provide details on my awful experience. I hope to prevent others from a pain or hassle while handing over their money and expecting to receive what has been paid for Yesterday the washer was delivered with NO dryer! I was not provided any kind of update from Best Buy , but was informed by the 3rd party delivery guy that the dryer was not in stock and was scheduled for a later delivery day. As the dryer was physically purchased in store.... this makes no at sense! it's been over a week and then we find out there's more delay!!! The worst part is that when we finally got them on the phone, a man who barely spoke English and obviously, he either, did not understand it either, or pretended to and only tried to get the phone call off the line and out of the queue. When he repeatey failed to acknowledge or provide proper assistance or answer any questions or do ANYTHING but seem incompetent and lacked accountability, concern, or active listening skills, absolutely ZERO desire to resolve or assist! he could not even identify what he was much less how to do it he wanted to give a generic answer with no relevance and rush off the call. Where I lost my a supervisor was requested (at least 3-5 times) and the rep put the call on hold and said things that were not applicable or helpful. I was refused an escalation! I don't have my dryer or any updates as to why I don't! I was denied an escalation and transferred to a different dept and rep instead! He said he was getting a supervisor and when he finally implied he was going to... He said he was transferring I said where he did not answer and just transferred anyway knowing it was not a supervisor or manager... just a different department. This is unacceptable and this rep should not be working with customers anywhere! i went to Best Buy instead of a no name company to avoid this sort of thing! I had a good couple of experiences with with Shawn in appliances. We were looking for indication cooktops and Shawn was able to make us a deal on the floor model. When I gott it home, it didn't fit )my fault for not measuring the cutout the right way) so I returned it. I struggled to find a cooktop that would work, so my husband and I decided that we should but back the one that I returned. I went back the next day and hoped that Shawn was there because he was so helpful and he was there! He found my cooktop and got me all worked out and out the door. I don't normally write reviews for retail shopping, and I normally wouldn't write one given some of my other interactions, but Shawn is definitely a game changer when it comes to service. Me and my wife went to pick up an order in the store today. Ronnie was "helping" us and by helping I mean she was rude and disrespectful. Her attitude and tone of voice and the way she spoke to my wife was unacceptable. She didn't even offer to put our order in a bag. One of the items might have been too big for a bag but the other would have fit. I looked for a manager but couldn't find one. Thanks to the terrible/non existence service in the electronics department at Walmart on South Cooper St., I left my items on their counter and went to Best Buy. I was greeted with the nicest CSA's in front and they directed me to the department I needed. Not only did they tell me what part of the store to go, but one of the nice young men escorted me back to the department I needed. A nice young man took his time to help me and show me what was offered and recommended a couple purchases that fit my needs. I must say everyone there was really exceptional. The store itself is nice and full of staff ready to help you.....but initially I called to see if they carry a particular item. The recording indicated that this location is not taking calls but you can hold and be transferred to Best Buy's customer service line for assistance....but the hold could be up to 30 mins. So I called another location.....same message. I was nearby so I stopped by. I went into the store and of course they didn't have what I was looking for. Earlier today, at this store, I received the best customer service I've ever experienced in my entire life. I walked in, on Cyber Monday of all days, with a laundry list of order issues, bizarre shipping complications, etc, and the fantastic individuals I worked with at the Customer Service desk were paragons of helpfulness, patience, and determination, bending over backward and getting creative on finding me a solution to a problem almost entirely of my own making. I specifically want to shout out Taylor, Noel, and Ivan. They were exceptionally helpful and unbelievably patient while trying to figure out a solution to my complicated situation. Today I took a shot and went in to ask if they price match - I saved $30 on iPad supplies by simply price matching with their team. Recently, my iPhone was not charging. Stopped in the Arlington store, prepared to purchase a new phone. I was directed to the service area where Luis met me. He took my phone back to the shop and returned within a couple of minutes. He demonstrated that the phone was now charging. When I asked about payment for his services, he replied, "No charge. Thank you for shopping at Best Buy". It has been a couple of months and the old iPhone is working and charging perfectly. Most grateful for Luis and his positive, caring attitude. Back in 2017 I signed up for Best Buys Gamer club unlocked program, $30 for 2 years getting 20% off of new games and 10% off accessories and such. It was the best gaming deal around beating Amazon, Wal-Mart and especially Gamestop which didnt offer anything like this at all! Through youtube's gaming news I hear that they are stopping it after 2018 but if you still have the deal you have it until it runs out. They never have what I'm looking for, but almost always have it out on display, won't sell the display, BUT can miraculously make it appear in their warehouse and have it shipped. The Geek Squad at this store has not answered the phone in 3 days. I have tried for 2 hours each day. This is not customer service.

This location makes customers wait an extended lines just for a question in electronics/computers. Employees are very short with you when looking for items around the store. I walked around the store for almost 30 minutes just looking for an employee to help me. An employee in Computers wasn't much help either. He rudely brushed me off after walking a couple around the department for around 20 minutes. When I asked for help, he told me a general direction to find my item. And went back to his phone. Told the Manager, Daniel about a situation with the rude employee and he gave nothing but excuses. Told me the employee may be looking for an item for a customer. The nicest person there was the cashier. Kudos to her for putting up with bad management. I officially dislike this location to the MAX. read more

The Geek Squad @ Best Buy - Arlington is horrible. I left my laptop with them with a few things to fix. I told them that I needed my laptop back in a couple days and they confirmed that this was possible. I never heard back from them at all. I tried calling Best Buy and could not get thru. I tried to get thru to Geek Squad and could not get thru. Finally, on Day 5 of not hearing anything, I got thru to general Geek Squad customer service with a message for them to call me and that I needed my laptop by the end of the day with fixes completed. I had to go into the store, picked up my laptop and they didn't do a single fix on my PC. Problems: 1. You can't call and get a live person at the store. 2. You can't call and get a live Geek Squad person at the store. 3. They don't communicate properly or effectively. 4. They don't do any work they say they will do within the timeframe. I scheduled a installation for a remote start at this location. Had to wait 2 weeks just to get there and have them rescheduled because they have a new GM and is cutting techs hours. Rescheduled for a weekday to make sure there's a tech there. Took a half day off work to do this, then got a phone call saying they don't have the experience to do this job. I've shopped at Best Buy for years! It used to be the best gadget store around with helpful employees and awesome gear. Now, it is just plain garbage. My experience started with a Samsung employee that got me interested in the S pen via the tablets. I was in the market for a tablet and wanted one with accurate writing. He gave me a deal on an open box and looked up a price match for me. I bought that and some accessories. However, he failed to tell me that the S pen didn't work with the model he sold me after saying I could buy it separately to save some money. I even had to drive clear across town to get a keyboard from another store to find out it didn't work. I came back to the store and promptly returned the item. I also informed the employees manager he should be more familiar with his product line especially when he works for the very company he's selling the item from. They were able to get me taken care of...I THOUGHT. I had to have the tablet mailed to me, no big deal. However, the employee's manager didn't know what he was doing either. He didn't put the correct address for UPS so after waiting a week for my tablet, I was notified that the apartment number was not on the address line. He also misinformed me about the current table I bought and didn't add the warranty I had on the previous tablet. I made another trip to the store just to find out from the store manager that they were "talked" to and that they don't really work for him they work for Samsung. He did say that they were a representation of his store and that he would have another word with them. He didn't even ask what he could do to help the situation. I was in the Arlington store this weekend I was trying to return a camera I had purchased at the Best Buy Store off of hulen street. I had purchased a set of outdoor cameras & a starter Kit on use the Bluetooth light bulbs so I guess since I brought these two things I got another camera free, but after spending $350 I didn't know I got one of the cameras free so after not using the small room camera I took it to the Arlington store trying to get a video doorbell, after being told I had got some type of three camera deal I didn't understand. I had spent $350 on three camera's and some light bulbs and the manger kept saying I got one free NO I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND. I know I gave this young Lady a hard time but I didn't understand no one at the other store told me I got a three camera deal I had my receipt I needed to exchange one of the cameras for a doorbell video camera. We were greeted and helped by Daniel, who was amazingly knowledgeable about all our options.
