Words cannot explain how angry I am with this place. I thought a 3D printer at the end of April, and I went back to the store to add the protection plan. Over the past few weeks, I've been having nothing but issues with it. The AMS is clogged, having to consistently restore it, the fan cover keeps falling off. And now, it won't reset. It is stuck at "calibrating" - and it sits there and hangs. It will also not pair to my enterprise grade network. I reach out to bambu support. And all I can get is their chat. They send me links. They tell me to restore; despite telling them that I literally have tried that and it locks up. I went to the store on Saturday to look into my options with the protection plan. They spent probably 20 minutes trying to figure out what the procedure is. And they finally tell me that it's in store replacement but it will satisfy the $100 protection plan. So I go home and try to work with Bambu and it is LITERALLY impossible to get ahold of a human- that, and there are MULTIPLE things wrong with this $600 printer I bought two months ago. I go to the store today. And yet again, it takes them 20-30 minutes to figure out what the plan is. All of a sudden since Saturday it changed from replacement to calling geek squad. Before I bought the protection plan - I asked the customer service person how it works, and he told me it's in store replacement. Today, a supervisor tells me that I have to go through Best Buy customer service. Best Buy customer service is HORRIBLE; so I have a 2 month old 3D printer that is a paperweight. I'd like to thank supervisor Eli, for going above and beyond - to help me with a $600 printer, and help me successfully use the $100 "pRoTeCTion pLaN" ((sarcasm)) My advice to everyone. Don't buy the geek squad plan. Use Best Buy to window shop. Check out your items - and then check Amazon, crutchfield, etc - to buy for the same price but with better service. They have a decent selection of electronics that you expect to see at a Best Buy. This location used to have decent service but has gone downhill. I went to see geek squad regarding a simple issue and learn if they could fit me in today or not. I spent over 20 mins and even though agents didn't seem busy no one asked if they could help, none of them would even make eye contact so I could ask. Fortunately there are better Best Buy locations in the area. I scheduled an appointment next day in another city near by instead while I was waiting. read more

Needed to buy a new XBox Wireless Controller! Only had a few on the shelf but none were wireless. We found an employee and asked for help. He was awesome, stopped what he was doing and looked it up on his phone and found they did have them up front. Went up front and the nice man grabbed the one my grandson was wanting and took it to check out! He got the STELLAR SHIFT! It's color changing with custom rubber grips! Came in Saturday the 14th to get warranty on my earbuds they told me had to make an appointment with geek squad so had to come in the next day just to find out they didn't record serial rite when I purchased them so they had to contact apple to get the problem resolved so they told me it would take 48 hours to fix the problem I never got a phone call so I called the store on Wednesday they told me it would take another 36 hours so I called back on Saturday they cody told me he couldn't give me a answer he would have the manager call when she called she said problem was resolved I would have to make another appointment so the following Sunday we went to store they told me they couldn't run diagnostic on them that I would have to go to a apple store wich is an hour drive they told me they couldn't help me long story short I will never by another apple product from best buy in denton they refused to take care of there customer I wouldn't recommend buying anything apple or apple care from the denton store I made three one hour drives to the store all of this happened because they didn't record serial number the first time so because of there mistake I was told they couldn't help me I will never make that mistake again read more

I just wanted to shout out Nathan and Autumn at the phone counter. They were extremely friendly, informative, and super helpful. I wanted to call the store to give kudos but the ai phone system was so abysmal and difficult to use that I gave up. Hubs brought a new Mac computer 2 wks ago, I bought one last Saturday - made the appt to have all my old stuff transferred from my old Mac to the new one, Hubs took it up there, they had to keep it, they called, it's ready. We get it home, E-mail is all jacked up, not getting my e-mails, old e-mails do not delete they just keep coming back - Hubs went back again today to Best Buy - had the Mgr for over 2 hrs "fixing" the e-mail - get it home, jacked up even worse!!!! WHY??? Now we have to go back up AGAIN tomorrow, my day off and spend don't know how many hrs to hopefully get someone to FIX this problem!!!! This was not best buy in Denton, this was an online order I originally bought a TV on Amazon. The seller was Best Buy so they were handing the delivery. I was told it would be delivered on a certain day at range of times. They did not show and did not call. The next day I called. They did not give any reason did but only said they would call back for a reschedule. By the afternoon of the next day no callback. So I called again and asked to escalate. They said they were now out of stock until January. I asked if they ha another 70 inch or something close to that that I buy for Same price. He said no. They were completely unwilling to make any accommodation after all inconvenience. The service was not poor, it just did not even exist. read more

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FOR DELIVERY!!!! Not sure if it's every location or this one specifically but I have ordered a washer/dryer and an IPhone from this store to be delivered and everything that could have gone wrong has gone wrong. Both purchases were made in store with an employee who confirmed the shipping address and both times got confirmation emails for an old address. They tell you they will correct the address for you and you will speak to multiple people all telling you it will be taken care of only to get an email 3 days later saying the address still wasn't changed and you'll have to pick it up at the new address. I don't understand how high dollar items like this are not taken more seriously and how it's entirely our responsibility to fix it when you guys screwed up in the first place. Their delivery customer service is terrible! I ordered a tv to be delivered. They cannot narrow the delivery time from the entire day until the night before. I work, with an erratic schedule to accommodate my customers. I cannot block out an entire day until the night before. I spoke to the manager who told me that this is because they don't know until the night before where their stops are going to be and they route the truck in a very rigid manner to maximize the mileage. They cannot deviate from the route. That would make sense to them, but it means they cannot give you any idea when they are coming until it's far too late for me to plan my work day. Other customer focused businesses can give you a four hour window as to when they are coming when you place your order. I had to cancel my order. read more

I went into the Denton store this morning and bought a small smart TV - set up an appointment for delivery and set up for Monday. By the time I got home ( 2 miles away), there was already a text to say there was a problem.I called " customer service ". In the course of talking to the representative, he asked me if he could put me on hold, which I agreed to. 45 minutes later , still on hold, I was disconnected. Then came texts asking me to reschedule delivery. Mysteriously only the calendar for MAY popped up. After calling again, I find out it won't be available until May!!! I ordered online and within a few hours my order was ready. When you get to the store you can open the app and change your pick up options. I had first selected pick up in store, but then realized I can do curbside for pick up once I arrived. It was very convenient to switch like that. Purchased OTR Microwave on 9/16 at Best Buy in Dallas. The delivery date was going to be 10/21. Not acceptable. Went back to the store on 9/20 and they changed the delivery date to 9/22 which was fine. Received email regarding delivery for 9/22, received text messages that day regarding time and that the product was on the way and would be installed between 2pm-6pm. Time came and went and no delivery or any other text messages. When I called Customer Service they said the MW was not even picked up as it was not in the warehouse. Went into the store on Saturday, 9/23 to talk to a Manager to get some answers. First of all, the Manager was not very interested in the problem. Barely talked to me. I stood there as he pulled up his computer, and in the meantime looking at his watch, visiting with incoming customers. He finally said that the MW was "in transit". Apparently when this was ordered the product was not even available. I was not told this and the salesperson scheduled the delivery for no product available. He told me the product was "in transit", typical BB explanation. I said I wanted to cancel the order totally and a refund. I was given a refund for the installation and haul away but not for the microwave and told since it was in transit they could not issue the product refund. I told him that was unacceptable and wanted the refund for something I didn't have. He stood there and laughed at me and said it's only $200.00 to chill out. This Manager is despicable. I was not quiet before I left the store as to my frustration and told him I wanted a call that day regarding the "in transit" of the MW. I did receive a call later Saturday from a lady stating she was going to escalate this and get my money back that day. Nothing. I have bought many high dollar items in the past from BB but no more. This company has gone down to disgusting, as it used to be a good company but definitely will never set foot in another BB again and will make sure I let as many people know as I can on the horrific service. I am moving my old PS3 to my girlfriends place. Since I bought a PS4 I never use it and she has no blu-ray player. So I stop by this best buy on the way to her place. My girlfriend isn't a gamer so I wanted to grab a remote and I needed a new phone charger. For this simple trip to the store, three separate people offered to help me while I was there. And these weren't kids who were standing around either. These were folks who were working to maintain the store, but still took the time to help me out with finding the things I needed. And each of the people who helped me were very friendly. Even the cashier was fun to speak with, clever, and very efficient. The people of Denton are lucky to have a Best Buy location this dedicated to service. I'll eagerly do business with these folks every time I need something they sell. I'm very disappointed and upset over an experience I had. I bought printer ink two days ago for a printer that was gifted to me. I got home, and realized I bought the wrong one. However, I thought it may still work so I put the ink I bought in my printer which of course wasn't compatible. So I boxed the ink back up, took it to Best Buy to exchange for the correct one and then a very rude manager approached me with no sympathy or empathy and told me "we can't exchange ink once the box is open" I explained I just bought it two days ago and it didn't work with my printer. His rude personality and response was "well you could've bought it 5 minutes ago and it still wouldn't matter" I was so angry I chunked the wrong ink in the trash and stormed out. Now I'm on the phone with corporate to file a complaint. Best Buy has truly gone downhill and I will NEVER purchase another item from this location again. read more

Got a Dell computer from Best Buy on Line. After 6 months had trouble. I'm not sure whether it was outlook or Microsoft but it wouldn't work. Alert waiting 3 weeks for my appointment time, I was there and being attended to. I was told if we can't fix it in 10 minutes I would have to come back. To do that I would have to pay $200.00 for the right to have them fix my computer. I said No. The manager and attendant didn't care at all I waited 3 weeks. Absolutely horrible! No way they're going out of business. I get hounded by emails asking me to come use their card since I have a large available balance. However finding help here is next to impossible. Employees avoid you, blow you off or straight up don't even acknowledge you. I asked two associates for help and they said they'd come find me after they were done with their "customers" luckily the store is always so empty that you can clearly see them shooting the 5hit across the store with fellow employees, I finally approached the customer service desk where a super sweet cashier said she'd be right over to help, then after socializing with a customer she obviously knew she proceeded to yell "im free now" as I was walking out of the store. It seems I can't think of a single good experience at this store in years!. Wow in just 3 months this place has changed. There are more employees here then there are customers. The person that I asked helped for was not helpful. At checkout, the two workers were taking longer than 22+ minutes to check out or handle a return. So I asked the manager if someone can help us since he was so busy on his cell phone and just standing around. There were 5 people behind me waiting as well. He was not helpful and said that there was one person that he already pulled out from a department. Where was that person? He was rude and said that he "doesn't have the bodies to help". No wonder Best Buy is closing stores and laying off employees, my package would arrive must faster via Amazon prime than waiting in line here. The lady behind me said "no point in having stores open if you have no customers". No wonder they are closing stores it's just more convenient to just order online now days. They had me call to schedule an appointment, hung up in my face, and when I called back, they scheduled my appointment without giving me any sort of confirmation. The day of my appointment comes and they tell me it was an HOUR before the scheduled time and couldn't squeeze me in because the next appointment was in 10 minutes. Then says I have to go through Apple to reschedule, when I didn't go through Apple to make the appointment in the first place. I completed an in store pickup yesterday (11/27/2022) and based on a heated exchanged between the Best Buy employee and my husband, it appears that the Best Buy employee used my email (that I bought the in store pick up with) used my email information to subscribe me to various websites and offerings that had crystal clear references to the heated conversation with my husband. This is a breach of my information and absolutely inappropriate. This kind of behavior is disgusting. I would recommend another location to ensure your information and privacy is protected. read more

I had the worst experience ever at this location. I purchased a tv with total tech and full motion mount on Saturday. The sales guy informed me that starting on Tuesday 10/5 the services are free. He even talked me into getting a Best Buy credit card. He insisted that I purchased the items that day but to come back on Tuesday to re-ring the sale for my other tv to be mounted as well. I rushed from Plano to do exactly what he told me and ended up finding out other TVs were not on install and had to purchase kit to hide cords. Jazmin was very helpful. She setup installation on my other TVs and explained what to do on returns. My installation for 82 inch and mount was postponed due to 3rd party not bringing correct size van. Installer called stating he was picking up items then called back 20 minutes later to say a manager would call me to assist. After waiting a hour I called and was transferred to customer service someone working from home which was no help. I drove to the store and manager was aware of situation but only response for not contacting me because he was waiting on a response by email, no direct number to contact company installing tv. No guarantee on when my tv could be mounted. I took off work to accommodate long 1-8pm hour window. Total inconvenience and horrible experience I had to return everything. Manager on duty Ryan was very rude no interaction or apology for being inconvenienced and I don't understand how or why they didn't put any effort in saving the sale or customer. The worst customer service I have ever experienced at a major retailer. I never write reviews but I'm happy to take some time to tell everyone Do NOT buy appliances from Best Buy. Taken me 2 months and 5 trips across town to the store and still don't have the appliance installed. That's not an exaggeration either. Along with that--- their "reward system" when using their credit card is really shady. Get ready to jump thru a ton of hoops to use any reward dollars and it will still cost you more money plus they expire in only a few weeks. I'll never go back. read more

I was looking for a high end gaming router and was considering the Asus AC3100. It said it supported game acceleration, which would be the WT Fast on other Asus routers. However, when looking on the WTFast website for supported Asus models you will not find the AC3100 listed. Neither the sales rep or their geek squad could answer what the "game accelleration" listed on the AC3100 box referred to. Was it the same as the WTFast private game network? Searching forums I found that the AC3100 is basically the same thing as the AC88U, the difference is the AC3100 has 4 ports while the AC88U has 8. Both use the same chipsets and the same firmware. From that I could conclude that the AC3100 would have the WTFast support. Note that I did this research while the Bestbuy goons just sat there scratching their heads with nothing to offer. My conclusion was correct, the AC3100 did support WTFast, even though the WTFast site did not list it as a compatible router. I doubt the average consumer would have been able to determine that the AC3100 would work since it used the same firmware. If so, then Bestbuy should hire the average consumer to advise on routers instead of those that had no answer for me. Sad. read more
