Respect for the customer. We purchased a Kitchen Aid dishwasher, and a Maytag washer and dryer Nov. 17, 2025! To date the ONLY thing delivered on time was the dryer! They cancelled our dishwasher 3 times and rescheduled to deliver our washing machine 5 times- it's Feb 1, 2026 and we have visited Best Buy as a customer for the last time. We cancelled the washing machine and have in turn returned the dryer as well. The lack of concern by the store managers has been so disappointing - you'd think a customer coming and spending over $3k would get a little respect - especially a repeat customer who has spent well over $20k in the last 15 years with that one particular store. So if you're in the market for appliances Best Buy of Florence is NOT the place to make a purchase - they want your money but they don't care if they product you bought ever makes it to your home. And it's not just Florence it's Best Buy in general. We had numerous calls into the corporate customer service - just to be overlooked continuously. The plus side to this is we are able to purchase the SAME Maytag Washer & Dryer else where for $600 less! We're DONE with Best Buy. read more

One sent me around the store on a goose chase, while the other two flat-out said no. About 10 minutes later, I had a friend go in and ask the same question. They were initially told no as well, but after my friend insisted, an older employee actually went to the back and came out with a full box of Pokémon cards. Either the employees are genuinely unaware of their own inventory...which is concerning or they are unwilling to help their own employer make sales. read more

The sales people can be rather pushy to buy stuff, when you're really just coming in primarily for comparison shopping. My parents bought a desk top computer from here 25 years ago and the service was A LOT BETTER back then! The selection of stuff is lackluster and when the guys pushing me to buy the more expensive item realized that I was going to NOT buy it -- he got mad at me. The item that I had initially asked for from them was not only what was more aligned with what I wanted and needed at the time, but was closer in price. To what I was looking for in the way of need. I am now looking for a specific camera, which I saw that Best Buy had, so I battled Black Friday traffic today to check it out. I wanted to look at the Zoom before purchase. What a wasted trip. All demonstration models were not working. And apparently, this is a thing here. The salesman wanted me to erase the iPad before even opening the new iPad. I asked him, "Shouldn't we be going over to the tech counter to have them transfer the information to the new iPad?" he said,"No, the data is all in your apple icloud account." Then HE pressed the erase button! What an idiot! I lost over ten years worth of work and multiple manuals that cannot be recovered, family photos, music. All erased! Ordered a TV. Had BB deliver. Plugged in, TV is broken. Let them know. So great, they offer to deliver a new one and pick up the old one! Really nice... except despite giving them the correct address, confirming the correct address, and the confirmation email having the correct address, the delivery people went to the wrong address. And now apparently it's my problem and I have to reschedule to another day, instead of them driving the five minutes it would take to go to the correct address. read more

This is a belated update to my original review. After eventually contacting Best Buy's corporate offices, and intervention by an executive intervention specialist, the matter was looked into. Then, three weeks after the original appointment, on Saturday, June 22nd, the TV and soundbar were delivered and professionally installed. This was done by members of the local Best Buy Geek Squad; not that third party outside contractor who failed to follow through on multiple delivery appointments. Additionally, the executive intervention specialist compensated us for our time and trouble by refunding delivery and set-up fees. In essence, the matter has been resolved to our satisfaction. read more

I called Best Buy to schedule and appointment to get my battery replaced due to being swollen. They scheduled me an appointment. When I got there 15 minutes early they said they would be with me momentarily, have a seat, 35 minutes later they called me back. When the rep asked what I was having issues with and told him he informed me they don't replace swollen batteries. I live an hour away. Why would they schedule me for a service that they don't perform. Representative was a total ass. read more

Well I've shopped here since early 2000's at this location. I've always found the help to be average, not the best, but also not the worst. NOW! It's absolutely awful. It's a bunch of kids that never have an answer for anything. They always blow you off. Everyone of them have the same exact answer. "Oh sir I don't know the answer, but I'll have someone meet you over there that can help you." So you walk over to where they asked you to be, and wait. 45mins-hour Then you see these young employees chatting, laughing. Noticing you are waiting and nothing is said. So, when you approach them. They give you the same answer or they say they're helping someone. Okay I 100% get they are young and it's a job to them, but what happen to customers survice? This place has seem to go down the hole after Covid. It looks like a K-mart on the inside right before going out of business. This is my 4th time having an issue with this place. I've bought a phone from here and they didn't order the correct one. Tried to say that's the one I picked. I've bought a laptop that had an issue with it charging after 3 months. They couldn't offer any help with that and a watch they ordered incorrectly and shipped out to the wrong place. Now this....Do better best buy in Florence KY. Lessons learned! read more

So I bought a high end pc worth 2200 dollars from this store. When I recoeved it the first time the pc was completely bricked. I sent it back and got it from back order 2-3 weeks later. After I finally got the new pc it began having issues within the first year. After a a year of having it the pc bricked out again and its motherboard completely died. With it still being in warranty I took it back for repairs. It was sent out to be fixed and low and behold the company doesn't have any motherboards in stock and put the pc on back order. So far not a solid pc but I understand however. As a best buy plus memeber I assumed that the support squad there would have my back well news flash they don't. They lied about the repair turn around time. They lied after I called to get an updated return around time. They lied to me on the phone when I asked for information and help. And they have hung up on me from their call centers. And their leadership now refuses to answer calls or provide any information. So I'll be dropping my memebership and informing my entire company that best buy and their memebership means nothing. Their geek squad will lie and provide no assistance to customers who need help. So I hope and pray that any person who takes the time to read this will save their money and time and avoid this place like it is a living plague. You have been warned. Never again! Bought a $3500 Samsung TV and 17 days later it was completely dead. Could not reach anyone at the store. All calls go to an extremely unhelpful call center. Only able to return in 15 days or less unless you pay for the + membership that gives you 60 day returns. We were pushed over to Samsung customer service and had to have a 2 week old tv repaired. The only reason we bought from Best Buy was because they have a storefront so you'd think the customer service would be better. From now on, we'll go there to see what we want and then buy from Amazon. If I could leave a 0 star rating, that would be more appropriate. read more

Ugghh..as has been well documented on here, I am not a fan of Best Buy overall. Used to be one of my favorite stores..but now I pretty much can't stand it here. This location is a prime example of why I hate it so much. Stopped here to kill some time..and to possibly find a blu-ray that had been sold out everywhere I had looked. So yeah, my main reason to go to Best Buy was for movies & music. Their entire section of both at this store is down to two racks. One and a half racks of movies..half a rack of music. Pathetic. As always..nothing is priced properly..sales aren't noted..there is no sensible order to anything. Luckily (?) I was able to find the movie I went in there for (priced incorrectly of course)..so then it was on to dealing with this places terrible service at the registers. As I've complained about before, the register situation at most..no I'd go so far as to say all..Best Buy's is abysmal. You could only have a couple people in front of you and you'll be waiting there for 20 minutes. This time there were two registers open, and the person at the purchase pick-up aisle was ringing people up too. Two people in front of us..one being an employee buying an energy drink. Customer in front was being waited on..Best Buy employee was up next to purchase his drink. I kid you not, we stood there for five minutes while the employee talked to the person behind the register to buy his drink. It was ridiculous. The line behind me was growing. The person at the pick-up line decided to stop ringing customers up. The actual customer was in a long conversation with the cashier about what they were purchasing, the employee was just standing there talking to the other cashier holding up the line, the pick-up person was just ignoring customers..and the line was growing behind us. Completely maddening. Once the line behind us got decently long the pick-up person decided she would start ringing people up again and called us over. She could have done this five minutes earlier..but she didn't. Now, she was nice enough, the movie I purchased was on sale so it rang up cheaper than it was listed as..which was nice I guess. But seriously, this visit overall just helped cement in my mind that it was a smart decision to walk away from this company overall. Seriously Best Buy..eff you. read more

DO NOT EVER PRE-ORDER A PHONE AT BEST BUY. I preordered a phone for in store pickup 2 weeks before release date of the Samsung S22. Well here it is, the day the phone is released, and guess what. NO PHONE. Tried calling them but the store cant be bothered to pick up the phone so I could not find out if it was in. Drove 45 minutes to the store and was told "sorry your phones not here". When I asked when it would be in he had NO IDEA! Said they had 25 pre orders but only got 6 delivered. I asked the manager how they decide who gets one he had no idea. Its apparently not by rewards status because I spend about 10K annually at best buy and have had ELITE status for many years. I will never order a phone from Best Buy again and will seek other sources for the appliances for my many rental properties. read more

Went to Best Buy for a new printer my old EPSON was getting old so I decided to get a NEW CANNON printer. Well it seems I got some one else's return or trouble at least that's what it seems like I tried to copy a family tree circle and got a terrible result. I checked the ink and it was out of two color's so I can only assume this was a returned printer or a demo, I checked back and was told they did not have the print ink that was used in this printer so I ordered from the supplier. We bought an LG OLED TV 65 from here. We already knew what we wanted and the sales guy was super nice. We dropped 5k on Sound Bar and TV in Feb 2019. Fast forward to today and the TV turns on and off and won't connect to HDMI 3. Called up there was transferred to Geek Squad and spoke to a less than rude woman Mary Beth who told us she couldn't find our purchase and that if they sent someone out it would be a 99.99 charge plus parts. I said its under warranty and we opened a Best Buy card. She said I didn't need to be defensive and that she would try to work with me. I said Hold on a second and she put the phone down never to return. I called back and asked for a manager the guy on the phone was rude saying that he wasn't in the store and I needed to call Geek Squad Corporate for tech support because they only handle computers in the store. What a waste of time and oxygen. Do yourself a favor and go to another Best Buy find the TV you want and buy it on line or go to any other retailer. They do not care about you or their service. Very happy with my experience here. I had bought a TV and couldn't attach the legs to it. I felt so stupid but after 45 minutes I was so irritated and decided to pack it up and bring it back for an exchange. I started the process upfront and went to the back to pick out my TV that I would be exchanging for. Stephanie, a manager, saw me looking at TVs and asked if I needed help. I told her I was doing an exchange and trying to figure out the difference between two TVs. She told me the difference and I then said what my current problem was. She asked me if anyone had offered to try putting the legs on for me and asked if I'd like her to try. Turned out the holes in the TV weren't drilled deep enough but she was able to fix it for me and install the legs for me, all with a smile on her face and friendly banter. I was very impressed and haven't really had a good customer service experience ANYWHERE in years. I don't usually leave reviews but I felt compelled to leave a review to say that Stephanie is a fantastic manager and a great addition to Best Buy. She sure knows customer service and has made it so that my next electronic purchase will definitely be at Best Buy in Florence! Thanks! read more

Update - New TV in perfect condition delivered today. Troy & James did the installation, hanging the tv & concealing the wires in the wall. Troy was fantastic! He took extra time to explain things, answered questions & I was even able to purchase a Roku from him & he set it up prior to leaving. Cannot say enough positive things about my experiences with the employees of the Florence, KY location! Bought a large TV Thanksgiving night, got it home & upon unboxing we noticed the screen was bubbles and cracked. By the time we got home the store was closed. I made the mistake of going into forums & reading stories about Best Buy refusing to exchange or refund TVs with damaged screens at purchase & the customer having to eat the cost. Total opposite of my experience. We worked with AJ at the customer service / return desk. He was very kind, immediately helpful, made the exchange and apologized that we purchased a damage product. I came to the store for a new cell phone. I knew the kind I wanted, but I was concerned about all the added charges that always seem to happen. Also, I had a bad experience with a Verizon staff. My situation was overwhelming and upsetting. Lilly in the cell phone department was amazing. She was extremely helpful and went well beyond to ensure I understood everything needed. Unfortunately this store will have to take the brunt of my complaint. As it is impossible to comment with geek squad customer support, as the wait time on hold is 2 hours. On line support isn't any better it's at least 1 hour to connect with a live agent to chat. When you do get someone they can't help. The additional aggravation 1) I have a protection plan I paid for thinking I could get a better support level. 2). I simply wanted to schedule a follow up service call to repair a microwave after the parts arrived. It took 4 phone calls with an average 2 hour wait time. So if you are the manager of this store and want this removed you need to push this up the the ladder. WO# 1681443 well I guess the store manager must be worthless as well. Customer service here is terrible. I had an issue with gift card fraud, called online support, who said I had to go to the store I got the gift card from since it was "store credit" from a refund. I went to the store, and they claim they can't help me with anything related to gift cards, and that I would need to call "corporate customer service". I call 2 different customer service numbers and they both say they can't help me because of it being "store credit" and tell me I have to go to the physical store. Very lazy workers here, and manager won't even talk to me, just tells employee to tell me, "We can't help you, call customer service". read more

Found a pioneer one and it was marked down from $125.00 to $33.00, I asked if it was priced correct and they found out it was not priced correctly. They then told me that they had to honor the price anyway. So after getting everything to go with it and setting up install, Monica came to register and told me that they couldn't give me that price!!!!! I left! I will never go to Best Buy again! Today (8/22/15) my husband and I fully intended to drop a bunch of money in the Florence, Kentucky store. We picked out a laptop, and an employee went and got it for me. I asked him if I was allowed to continue shopping, and walk around the store with it. He said that was fine so we continued to look. While we were shopping for other items, another male employee asked me if I had a receipt for it. I told him I still had to pay for it, and pointed out the guy who got the computer for me. He kept asking if I was ready to pay, and I told him three times I was still shopping. He accused me of trying to steal, and said that I wasn't supposed to have it. I sat it down, and told him that his coworker never should have let me walk around with it (after I specifically asked him if I could) if they weren't supposed to do that. We left the store, and you'll be happy to know that another business got our money, and I will NEVER step foot in a Best Buy ever again. read more

I agree with other reviewers who have said that Best Buy can be pretty hit or miss. This location especially. It really just depends on who is working the floor to determine if you'll have any success getting help. The last several times I've been in, I was smarter than the employees on the things i was asking them about. That is kind of wrong. I realize that you can expect to get a camera expert working in a big box store, but I do at least expect them to know the basic differences between what they stock on their own shelves. The Geek Squad is another situation altogether, though. I have always had great, professional service with the Geek Squad. We have used them twice for PC issues and have always been happy with the outcome. read more

Oh Best Buy...what is there to say. Your sign is a blue and yellow temptress for my boyfriend. We go here almost every week because it makes him happy. I bought my first fancy TV here, it was the last one they had, on Black Friday, at 6pm, and I still got great customer service. I've never really had to ask anyone there a technical question so I can't comment on their usefulness. I also have a boyfriend that makes sure before we leave the house that whatever they have is in-stock, so we don't have an issue with that either. There are good deals to be had, especially if you get the emails. The getting in and out of the store parking lot can be a nightmare, but that really isn't their fault as much as bad planning on the whole shopping complex.
