DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPO!! After having our refrigerator delivered to us, we went into the store to let them know that the refrigerator that was delivered to us wasn't working. The freezer was not staying cold, we kept a cup in there to make sure and it was liquid and was not making ice cubes. Our meat and other items were unthawed. Customer service gave me a phone number to call so I left the store and called. They sent home depo workers back out and they looked at it and said it could not be fixed, they said they would let their bosses know and tell them about all our food that was bad due to the freezer not working and someone would be in touch to schedule the new delivery with a new refrigerator. I received a call a few hours later, saying I would need to call a new phone number, and they would be the ones to schedule the new delivery and that the guys that stopped out to look at the refrigerator said it was not fixable. I got off the phone and called the new phone number. I said Hi, I'm calling to get on your schedule for the new refrigerator to be delivered and the old one removed, the lady gone on telling that they've never been to my house before and was EXTREAMLY RUDE. I kept saying yes, someone was just out and said it could not be fixed that they would send me a new one. Finally she tells me she's with LG and that they were to come and not home depo. So after waiting for home depo to come out I should of been having LG out BUT WAS NEVER TOLD THIS. LG has cancelled on me now multiple times and still hasn't came out to my house and the manager and who ever I've been emailing has now ignored me and not helped me at all. The manager told me he would get back to me on seeing if I could just return the refigerator and get me a small garage replacement so I could have something to keep items in my freezer. Hours later I get a call from someone else saying LG still needed to come look at it to show her proof the LG cancelled on me and that's the last I've heard from them. Tomorrrow will be a full month since the refigerator was delivered and I still haven't got a new one and all my groceries that was in there are still bad and I still can't use the freezer. read more

Then, you call about it and they tell you they will file a "claim" with Sedgewich Insurance, which is also an outright scam. You will "get an email or a call within a few days" which does NOT happen. These two are out of business now because their owners and investors made bad mistakes such that they made the demise of these companies sure. Imagine for just a minute making a $700 MILLION DOLLAR investment in a business and have it fold two years later through total liquidation...? You start by not making mistakes as younger investors. Mark Zuckerburg is a wealthy man, but he is STILL paying for mistakes he made "back in the day...". I'm going to bring forth one now. Home Depot is a very good business. But the use of some of their delivery services is suspect. I purchased about $1K in kitchen cabinets. This one guy, delivered what I purchased to my home. The service is called "Roadie". This person delivered my merchandise used his own truck, left it in front of my garage door. THEN... he forged my signature on the document that said I received my merchandise. If "lack of respect" was a sound, about the chase from a row of Georgia State Patrol cars chasing a suspect. Absolutely deafening. The delivery person FORGED my signature. That is a criminal offense. I do NOT trust "Roadie" to deliver as much as a chip of paper to my house. I am owed an apology for this at the least. "Roadie" is to never touch my merchandise again..... Ever!!! read more

It is always fun to go to Home Depot. You will get what you came for and find something you didn't know you needed! This evening I went looking for the Christmas Tree storage bins they had online. The store is always clean and well organized. Parking is plentiful but be sure to park between the entrance and exit. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. When I couldn't find the storage containers I was looking for, I asked the young man on the orange vest. He looked it up and told the containers were on a pallet and asked if I minded waiting while he found someone to get them down. It was quick and they helped me with everything I needed. The containers are a great product at a great price. The Home Depot is always my first stop! read more

This is a home depot very close to me. It's challenging shopping during this pandemonium, but the sales associates seemed to be motivated to help and still shows positive attitude. I've been here so many times for almost everything I need for my house and yard/ garden. Today, I'm here to buy pendant lights and chandelier, the lady was very helpful even make an effort to locate one more of the light pendant since the store only had one on the shelf. I appreciate good workers and their patience to help costumers. One thing I like about the store: 10% military discount. Don't hesitate to ask for it. If you want to buy appliances or want good customer service, this store is not the place. After seven weeks, we still have not received our $7,000 worth of appliances that we bought. We cancelled two because they were wants and not needs. We have had Al, one of the store managers lie to us because he did not want to deal with us when we returned to the store and told us that an employee cancelled the order and that we would have to come back. That was a lie! He did not want to take the time to make the correction on the order. I have asked to speak to Allen, the store manager, but the employees act as good gate keepers and have not been able to tell him what a cluster mess this has been. As a matter of fact, Al pretended to be the store manager in one phone call when I was calling in to talk to store manager and I reminded him how he previously lied. I still do not have a total or a new receipt of what we are being charged. You call the store and they do not answer the phone, or leave you hanging to transfer you, and they certainly do not leave messages for employees nor management. We used Citibank's Home Pro card and found out that the employee entered our home address incorrectly and we were being charged for the product that we never received a bill and it ruined our perfect credit. Fortunately, Citibank verified the incorrect address that was given and reversed the late charges that hit us. Not sure how it will affect our credit still. We still do not have a final bill on what we are being charged. Would someone buy a car, a home, or any large purchase without knowing what their final bill is? No. This transaction has been stressful than buy a home or a car. Jay who was our salesperson was delightful. However, the rest of the interaction with the staff was so disappointing as we heard vocal sarcasm or and disdain on the phone and in person. I had to almost demand a new sales receipt to prove that they were removing discounts as we had to start canceling appliance to get the remaining balance. Obviously, this was a horrible experience. I contacted Home Office and will follow up with the regional director. Obviously, the employees and management need additional coaching. read more

This is my second opinion on this business. It has everything you may need but one thing - help. There is always one person willing to help but you to usually (if you even succeed) find them at another department trying to help with another department not assigned to them. For the most part you can not find an associate to help you. They hide and Home Depot must force them to roam by policy but they defitnetly walk with pace and stealthy trying to avoid eye contact for fear of being called upon. When you do find one, like I did (in another department) he tried to help but not his department again. Out of nowhere another associate showed up to relieve him but it was obvious he also did want to be there with me...and with good reason. The man knew absolutely nothing of the product he was supposed to be dealing in. His best response? "Good question. I don't know " and "Just take it and if it doesn't work bring it back". Excellent training. I'm not expecting a master plumber or electrician but some general knowledge or better yet how about the old college try - "I don't know but let me ask or find out". Who does their DYI classes? The customer I suspect - no clue how to do it but Google it and I'm sure we ha e any thingy you will need. GOT TO GO!!!! read more

I purchased a new Maytag washer from Home Depot Florence KY (online) On Tuesday 03/19/2024 and was told it would be delivered between 10:30-2:30pm on Thursday 03/21/2024. The delivery took place at 10:45 on 03/21/2024 (on Time) but the delivery guy was in such a hurry he damaged our new washer by hitting it on one of our door frames! He told my wife he was soo far behind (like an hour) in his delivery's and if she could just sign for it to be delivered undamaged he would give her a number to call to have it fixed. We did not accept the delivery and called to get a new undamaged one and was told we couldn't get it till Wednesday 03/27 a week later!!!! now I have to wait a week to get a washer I already purchased that they damaged on delivery and I can but a new one and get it in 2 days!!!!!!!!! How does this make any sense. when I spoke to the 800 number they offered no empathy and said that's all they can do. This is absolutely the worst delivery service/customer service I have ever received and they just lost a customer for life as well as the fact I will tell everyone I know about this experience and advise them not to experience this type of horrible service themselves from Home Depot. read more

So frustrated--I put in an order for 12 bags of mulch the night before and came the next day (this afternoon) to pickup my order which I have an email saying it was READY for in-store pick-up. Well, I'm both pregnant and still recovering from a pulled back, So, knowing you can request curbside at the store or on the app, I did just that when I parked in the curbside spot. Can you believe that 25 MINUTES later I go into the store with my two little toddlers in tow to customer service and find out that not only did they not even know I was parked at curbside, my order wasn't even pulled!! So I couldn't even just take it and load it myself if I wanted to because it wasn't ACTUALLY ready for me. So so so disappointed. I WILL NOT do pick up again. Worst customer service ever. Saturday i came in and try to buy a Ryobi Fan which online said they had in stock... no one really tried to help me find it they just pointed and send me on my way until this one girl who was the only one who actually tried looking around not just checking their little machine that says it is in stock told me that they had a promotion starting Sunday and that they may have them but still in boxes for the promo and advice me to come back the next day or buy it online... so i did, went online, bought it with a gift cards and the rest with a card... came in... again... no one can find it... they charged the gift card, the credit card and im told that the fan will not be available how i bought it... but in the promotion that hasnt started if there are any available at that moment. I had to request a gift card back which was another problem because of the different charges between the gift card and the credit card. Every time, every time! I had ordered a dish washer from Home Depot. Paid for installation When they came to deliver it they said they didn't install and we would have to call Home Depot again and get a Plummer to come out. The plumber would install and take the old one with them. Waited another 24 hours just to have the Plummer say that they do not install and we would have to have the installers come back to install. While they were here we turned off the main water valve for them and then we couldn't get hot water in the kitchen to work. Finally got it to work but the flow was extremely decreased almost to a trickle. They then said they were done and had to go to the next job. So I not only don't have a dishwasher installed but now I barely have enough hot water to hand wash my dishes. NEVER had this issue before they got here. Took a shower today with plenty of hot water. All the bathrooms have hot water. Just the water faucet where they worked. Terrible service. Terrible response. Terrible terrible terrible. Will NOT ever use Home Depot again. . read more

I've been to this location 3 times in past few days to get plumbing supplies. I'm not a plumber by any means but I am installing a tankless water heater by myself. It's turned into a big job because I am relocating it and converting from electric to gas. It's finally finished and runs smooth. The salesman, Bob in plumbing, was incredibly awesome to deal with. His knowledge base is incredible. Turns out he is a former mechanical engineer on missiles from the Army shortly after the Korean War. He is a great attribute to the Home Depot staff. I went here to get blinds. I checked online and it shows they had 5 in stock. Went to store went to the row with blinds and couldn't locate any in the size I needed. Saw there were some at the very high shelf where I guess they just throw up there if no room lower. Went to service desk and asked if they could page someone to help. I heard them announce over speaker. Stood there in row for 15 mins. Then saw employee walking down aisle and asked if they could help and they said they don't work in blinds but she would get someone. Waited another 15 mins and I just gave up. HERE WAS MY MESSAGE TO CORPORATE - - - The promised delivery never arrived. When I called the store the first time today around 1:00 p.m. to check on the order status, I was told the order was ready for pick-up. I explained that I had already paid for "expedited delivery" on 4/3 for delivery to my driveway on 4/11. After being placed on hold for about ten minutes, I was told that the product was loaded on a flatbed truck at 6:09 a.m. this morning and was out for delivery. She would not estimate when to expect the truck. When I called again around 5:00 p.m., I remained on hold for over 45 minutes without ever connecting with an associate. That was when I ended the call to eat dinner. It is now well after 8:00 p.m. and there has been no communication from anyone at Home Depot concerning why the promised delivery did not occur. I made a final attempt, but gave up again after remaining on hold for over an hour. Suffice it to say, you will not be receiving my business going forward. read more

RUN! Nearly 5 months ago, on March 3 we ordered $5k+ of cabinetry from Home Depot. 5 weeks later, they were delivered to the store and when we picked them up, we discovered one small filler piece was the wrong stain color. We brought the two HUGE cabinets home and have been patiently waiting to complete the instal. Two more times we had to drive to the store to pick up the replacement piece only to find that it was either damaged or again the wrong stain color. Each time the staff reordered the piece, it was another 4-6 weeks wait and we were promised they'd give us a call when it arrived. So we'd wait, house torn apart, cabinets everywhere, for that call. They didn't call. When we'd reach out, the automated system would hang up on us after 10 minutes on hold or we'd be transferred 4-6 times. This happened multiple times. Eventually when we made contact, we were assured by a store manger that the piece would be refunded and we'd receive compensation for our ordeal. The manager offered 'compensation' literally 5 or more times. Today, we picked up the piece and (yay!) it's finally right! However, Home Depot has decided NOT to offer any reconciliation for their end of the bargain. We escalated through the store, their corporate site and social media and received a consistent response: since they'd refunded the $69 odd dollars we'd receive nothing else, not empathy, an apology or an explanation for the terrible experience. If we'd returned the cabinets at any time during this mess, we would have to have paid a 15% restocking fee, per the customer agreement we signed at purchase. However, they don't stand behind their verbal promises to compensate a customer for a HD mistake. What a crock. Please join me in sharing this story to keep others from going through a similar situation. read more

Today I went to pickup my online flooring order at customer service, was asked to sign fo my items before I received , I refused. The young lady called a young man to go to flooring and get the product, he came back an said your stuff is at the pro center. The customer service girl said you'll need to go get your stuff and come back to sign it out ."yeah right!" I get to the pro center and a nice young man asked if customer service sent me down, I said yes. He spoke to a guy behind a desk and he paged customer service, five minutes later the guy behind the desk came out and said "what is it you want" when he said that I'm in pissed off mode , are you kidding me ? I said I'm here to pick up my flooring , he precedes to point to a pallet and said , there it is. Like I knew it was out there on a pallet .. I'm a customer service manager for a global company and never have I been so rude to a customer .That little jerk at Home Depots pro center sitting behind the desk is rude. My husband and I came here when we looking to buy a new fridge. The guy in the appliance center was useless so we ended out leaving empty handed. We have an odd size space for a fridge and we're looking to see if they had any french door fridges that would work. The guy took out the catalogue to look but he was very slow because he had a very hard time reading the small text. Oi. We said we needed the fridge a certain width but he kept looking at depth. Oi. We saw on one page that a fridge had an inside water dispenser. We mentioned that we were interested in that feature and the guy said that there wasn't such a thing. It said it in BOLD. Oi. In one catalogue it had pictures of the fridges in the front and then the specifications in the back. He looked "everywhere" trying to find the specifications and we kept telling him they were in the back because that's what the front of the book said! Oi. We would have been better off looking at the catalogue ourselves. Anyway, we ended up just leaving frustrated. We went to Sears next and left with the PERFECT fridge because the lady there knew what she was doing. Went there to purchase a truckload of 2x4's. There wasn't one cart there to load the wood on. All they had were the dry wall carts that are a pain to load studs on and not safe. I walked around the entire store. Twice! Looking and not one staff asked if I needed help. They were all just walking around like zombies. I went to a cashier and asked if they have anyone watching this and he was like "ummmm, I don't know, do you just want a regular cart?" Horrible customer service. The prices here are sometimes cheaper than they are at Lowes down the street, and sometimes more expensive. The two stores carry different enough products that if a person were particular about brand, they wouldn't be able to comparison shop the two stores. That said, I have found Home Depot to be cheaper on lumber and gang boxes (results may vary). I was here for a sale on vegetable plants, and they had a nice selection and really great prices. I have mixed results with their garden center. I usually find the prices are good, but the selection isn't as good as it could be. read more

I can remember my very first purchase was door locks to change for my investment properties. The reason why I started shopping at Home Depot, first of all there color orange and white was attractive. The store was in a great location, close to my house compared to Lowes way down on Houston rd next to Biggs. There was also plenty of sales associates, they answered all my questions. So though out the years I acquired more properties. Home Depot always had the best prices. Anywhere I drive to my properties, there was always a Home Depot close by. I also liked if I did not have an receipt, they still scanned it and returned it with no questions about it. There customer service is sensational. My level of frustration is at an all time high with Home Depot in Florence, Ky. We bought a new front and back door to be installed by them back in February. Its now almost October. We have been given 4 different dates the doors will be shipped. I have made numerous calls to the millwork dept only to receive their answering machine. I leave a message requesting to be called back. Then nothing. I have easily left 5 messages and not a single one has been returned. When I do finally speak with a manager im given the excuse that the Manufacturer is who is delaying the order and this problem is out of Home Depot's hands. I took that excuse the first couple times but this is ridiculous. Cant home depot for one.....keep me informed of issues or delays? And for two......contact the manufacturer to get a more accurate reason? And for three......call me back when I leave a message? Have no orders after mine been filled either? Its like pulling teeth to get a straight answer from Home Depot. And if it truly is a manufacturer problem then at least make an attempt to keep me informed and provide atleast some level of customer service. Home Depot in Florence has been my go-to for rehabbing my current home and now my girlfriends. I've bought interior and exterior doors, kitchen cabinets, flooring, paint, trim, lumber and all the little necessities to go along with big projects. I find a vast majority of the employees to be friendly and interested in helping me. I normally shop at Lowes, but Home Depot had a slightly better deal, and a quicker turnaround time on the stove I wanted. The delivery was scheduled between 16:00 and 20:00 today. At 20:30 we called the delivery number we were provided. The lady explained that they were running behind, and someone would call 30 minutes prior to delivery. It's now 22:50, and I've yet to receive a call from anyone. Not even a courtesy call that they wouldn't be able to deliver. To top it off, the phone number we were given now says they're closed. Maybe I'll get my stove tomorrow? At the end of the day, it's back to Lowes I go. read more

My second experience with this lowes, looking for a dryer vent extension that ends up being in the plumbing dept. stood at the appliance desk for 30 minutes with the loud speaker requesting someone help me over and over again, but no one came to help. I ended up walking around the corner to see 3 employees standing and talking to one another; just feet from the appliance area where I had been standing. This Home Depot has the BEST tool rental selection and Tool Rental staff. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. We have rented here since 2007 for our business and personal needs. The tools or trucks we need are rarely out of stock and we literally can find just about everything we need to build or maintain a house. The tool rental staff and inventory is the reason I keep coming to Home Depot and as long as those guys are around I see no reason to stop. $25 to rent a truck for 4 hours! A mini-excavator for rent far cheaper than Arts Rental (whom we also love but for larger industrial equipment). Inside the main store most people are friendly too, but I prefer to even check out in the tool rental. They always have a smile on their faces and even remember my husband by name (they remember he's my husband but seriously, Josh is easier to remember than Devena though once they called me Mrs. Josh!) seriously- next time you need a carpet cleaner don't go to Kroger(those are ok, but don't clean as deeply): check out the hot water extractors over in the Florence Home Depot tool rental. The guys will even give you a walk through on how to use it! read more
