Product unable to return that their sales person sold me which was the wrong one needed for my TV
Laura C.

Had the worst experience with Best Buy at this location ever. Purchased a Samsung TV on black Friday to have installed as a Christmas gift and the Best Buy people know showed for installation then I rescheduled and they no-show the second time. I called customer service canceled having it installed went and picked it up and I asked what bracket I needed. Sales Guy sold me a bracket and when I had Geek squad come install it, they said that was the wrong bracket. I bought another bracket from Geek squad and when I went to return the original one to Best Buy they would not accept it because they said it was over two weeks They literally no showed my appointment twice and it's now my error and I'm out $99 Sean, the manager at Best Buy was a total jerk and not very understanding. Showed him my receipts and explained their sales guy sold me the wrong one then I had to buy the correct one from geek squad and said sorry it's past two weeks. Well if you didn't no show twice and installed before Xmas we would not be in this problem. Will not use Best Buy again. Service is awful. Won't return something unopened a month after purchase. Literally within 30 days.

Awesome service from . Super friendly, and kind. He really made my purchase quick and easy. I was in and out and that is always a PLUS when you are shopping with kids. (8 y/o & 2 y/o). I wish employees names were on recipts so he can be given the proper recognition. None the less thank you Best Buy!

I've had pretty good service here with the exception of one visit, where I could not get waited on. All of the other times, help was right there for me. The location is the Regency area and very convenient for me to get to. I am sure they are back open to go inside now. For a while there the COVID Pandemic had them doing order online and pick up at curbside.

This is my experience with the national "store": I haven't shopped at Best Buy in years because, long ago, I formed the opinion that it was more expensive than alternatives. Also shopping in the store was never a great experience. It was like going to a Staples or Pet Smart: hard to find info or knowledgeable help, long waits to check out. However, someone gave me a $500 gift card and I finally redeemed it. There wasn't much I wanted, but I picked some items: among them, two of the following products for baby gifts: VTech - Wyatt the Whale Storytelling Soother - Blue/White Model: BC8312 SKU: 6305582 Here's what I have experienced. 1. The first delivery was missing one of the two VTech items that I ordered and paid for. 2. I spent a half hour getting through to someone and explaining the issue. They said they would rush out the missing item under a new order number: Order #BBY01-806933907144 3. After some time, the second VTech item arrived. But instead of it being packaged in a box like the first one, it was packed in a flimsy envelope, and the box arrived damaged/destroyed. This was unsuitable for a baby gift. 4. I spent a half hour getting through to someone on Best Buy chat again and explaining the issue. The representative had difficulty understanding. After a lot of time back and forth and time waiting, the representative told me my only option was for Best Buy to email me a label and return the item for a refund. I wasn't happy because I now would have to shop for another baby gift, and no apologies or anything were even offered, but since that was my only choice, I agreed. 5. I waited several days and Best Buy never emailed the label. 6. I spent a half hour getting through to someone on chat again and explaining the issue. This representative told me she would have the label emailed to me. 7. This time, I received the label-- with no instructions other than to take it to a UPS store. 8. I brought the item to a UPS store, which wasn't convenient. I waited in line. They scanned the bar code and told me they weren't allowed to take the item because I was required to have the box wrapped or packaged. Those instructions were not included with the Best Buy email label or mentioned on the chat. So this trip to UPS was yet another unnecessary waste of gas, time, and effort. 9. The UPS store said they would package the item for me for $4.00 but suggested I call Best Buy and tell them to send a bar code that doesn't require packaging. 10. I found a phone number for Best Buy and called. After some time waiting, listening to irrelevant recordings and prompts, I got a representative explained the issue. She told me they would not provide any other label options, that I would have to package the product for return at my own expense even though these problems were not of my doing and I had already been greatly inconvenienced. No apologies were offered. 11. I packaged, at my own expense, the item and returned it. 12. Days later I received a return confirmation from Best Buy that said my refund had been processed for ZERO dollars. 13. I got on chat and explained the whole thing and asked for my refund. After much back and forth and waiting, the agent said I would have to call on the phone. 14. I called Best Buy and over the course of about 40 minutes an agent worked to handle this. When it was over, he said I might be issued a credit on my credit card or it might be a gift card, but he couldn't tell me which, and if it was a gift card, I would have to call back and get information on how to get it. He told me I would just call back in 7-10 days to find out. I told him this is ridiculous. I've spent hours and way more money in terms of time trying to get a refund for $50 -- and it's STILL not over. Due to problems on Best Buy's end, this simple attempt to buy a baby gift has proven ridiculously disastrous. I have wasted several hours of valuable time, and still have no baby gift and no refund.

This is a great best buy location, it's right by the Avenues mall and across from Target which makes it super convenient for us to shop at. I came in with hubby to look for apple watches and fit bit for my self. The employees were pretty helpful and friendly. They assisted us to finding the right color and design. We got to try on many different kinds and had a lot of of questions answered. I like how attentive the employees are at Bestbuy, they're constantly checking on the buyers and make sure we were helped. Although they dont always have the latest model of phones or watches, they do carry a variety of electronic devices. I'm glad we stopped by here and will return if we need to shop for more electronic items. Highly recommend this location of you're in the area. Very spacious and the parking lot is huge.

Best Buy is mine and hubby's toy store. We love electronics, gadgets, and movies, movies, movies. I went ahead and rounded up, but this particular store is more like 3 1/2 stars for me just because they have a pretty small bluray section. We often can't find the movie or television series we are looking for in the store. Customer service here is some of the best of all the Best Buy stores in Jacksonville. It's never difficult to find an employee and they always go out of their way to help me. They're very friendly and I often find myself getting into conversations with them about movies and television shows. Some of them have recommended some great television series to me and they haven't steered me wrong yet. This Best Buy also has a HUGE home entertainment center. It's in the store, but kinda separate from the store. When you walk in, it's almost like you've been teleported into another world. Relaxing chairs and huge flatscreens everywhere! I'm a Macintosh girl and the guys in the Apple department here really seem to know their stuff. That right there gets some extra brownie points from me. I've talked to some of the guys in other Best Buy stores who barely even knew how to turn on a Mac, let alone operate one. Sheesh! If they would just expand their movie/tv series section here, I'd have to give this Best Buy 5 stars!

Or…read morebetter yet buy you phone and there are several great companies you get much better deals on monthly plans. I have been to this location twice and both visits are bad. If you like slow service as the employees spend too much time talking personal with customers. Conversations that have nothing to do with phones or service. That can't even work and socialize at the same time as eye contact is important. They are doing this right in front of you as you wait. This is the place for you. If want to stand there for 10 minutes as they wont recognize you. This is your place. If you want to watch people walk out for wait and frustration this is the place for you. I needed something pretty simple turns out. I bought a new phone from apple but didn't have a phone line yet, plus if you buy from apple you don't have to worry about jail breaking or waiting for a year or more to go buy before charging carriers... (This is big as I am SO lucky I can change carriers anytime and don't owe a tone of money on phone forcing you to stay). Apple stated T Mobile should be able to help do it. On top both devices are t mobile. Work cell and personal cell but two different iCloud's. I finally get an assistant to help me. Picture a man helping you sloppy dressed wearing a sport team jersey oversized baggy pants and a ball cap. I didn't realize he even worked there for thirty minutes. Proper attire if East LA. He stated unless it is the same iCloud you must use a desktop. I told him I did it before with other carriers in past. He stated that is the only way T-Mobile is trained and their guide shows. When I told him I didn't think it was correct the other rep didn't correct him but silence was concurrence. Apple Store in 30 minute drive. I went into their competitor next door and not only did they know how to do it they moved everything on the phone I wanted but did it in minutes. I am not sure if all locations in Jax are like this BUT stay away unless board any want to watch dysfunctional. The ones really to blame is store manager and District Manager. T-mobile for not ensure training is completed or updating manuals on the basics of phone transition. Visit was at 6:30pm 4/1/26

I was very well taken care of by a young lady named Victoria and I plan to return when I have everything together and I'm ready to switch. I was very happy with the customer service received. T-Mobile is very competitive with their pricing and currently have some great offers for new customers looking to start a line. They are merging with Sprint and have great coverage in Jacksonville with plenty of towers. Right now you can switch and get a FREE iPhone but I'm not sure if I will use this offer or not.... They also allow you to switch and keep your current phone and phone number. I will update this review in the future if I decide to switch. Thanks goes to Victoria for being very helpful and explaining everything to me in great detail.

Its not even smooth surfaces he said they dont do sanding .... i HAVE to retexture my wall myself Fine i get it but the guy who cut holes in our walls 2 yrs ago to instal caneras did a better mudding/fill job than this guy. Ill be going through all camera footage as ive already seen he's hit my wall with our metal ladder too many times to count yesterday and now i get to finish and fix his poor filling job on ALL cut outs in my home MYSELF. Ill post videos if i can when i download them. It was excuse after excuse on MULTIPLE THINGS. Pitiful and yes my husband agrees! I atleast was taught how to use mud fill it and SMOOTH it out . Scott said they only do rough patch no sanding but all other customers are happy with it.... really??? I highly doub it!.... i hope his wife would be happy with this final product in THEIER home if they wer3 just a customer because its not GOOD BUSINESS and now we are telling our neighbors not to use them! Nice guy at 1st til confronted but very very condiscending today and knew he was but so glad i have it on audio from my hall camera. nobody would be happy with this so called fill in the holes and cracks. My husband has severe back problems and dr visits and cant be home 100% of tge time besies im not dumb or new to patchwork as we had to when we sold our old home and yes I A FEMALE DID IT! Needless to say we waited to see if he would do better yesterday or but Today it got worse. This is the "owner" lol thats pitiful and NOT WORTH OVER 1600 when im gonna spend even more to fix it what he shoould have done because noe even holes or screws are fully covered still indents around his cut outs and the filler isnt smooth at all and then texture it again myselfi can do that!! Very very disappointed!!!!.... im glad i have cameras in and outside my home GARAGE INCLUDED These pictures are from the 3 total visits hes made and WE WILL NOT ALLOW A 4TH!!!....sure things work but I mean for 1600 plus no i should not have to do this bull myself. If my husbands back wasn't so messed up and dr appointments and physical therapy and chiropractor he'd be here the whole time every time. I do have a few pictures as well text message wise to show other inconsistent information. His "clean-up " is a joke he got mud all over the picture I has specifically made by an artist of our deceased cat for my husband and the only thing that looks good is my daughters chandelier in her room but we found mud on it too now. Its poor service on the tail end and im WAITING on the desk faceplate that will hopefully be given to me as its already paid for as we paid Scott in full now. Yup gotta wait for drake customer service and blah blah blah. Look we all have real life problems but there are so many in consistency with what he said yesterday and today . I see why only 17 reviews and very little reviews elsewhere now. Its ridiculous! Scott set the price added on more fine I get that BUT if I knew my walls and all the holes would look like this when finished ummmmmm no. There's no way other people can be happy with this type of "rough patchwork " id like to see those pics. So if you have a simple project they might be ok if its more than a light then PAY THE EXTRA $$$ . I really dont care what his responses are as i have proof of poor execution and im not a young dumb woman or anything. I was an army brat im not incapable of doing things. A blind person could have done this patchwork better than he did! No i dont want Scott back in my home EVER. I feel sorry for people who hire him and HOPE they see this and my pictures! Good luck everyone just pay the extra $!!! highly highly do NOT recomend ! I'll add more pictures today!

I'm 57 and never had to replace a screen. I dropped my phone, screen broke...had to do it. Such is life. They fixed it, more expensive than the franchise place but it was my choice...all good. 11 days later my screen is cracked...I didn't drop it, didn't put the phone in any condition or environment that was in any way out of the ordinary....genuinely...on my kids...no lie. Just as it was before being fixed, my phone resides on an Otter box. I am at a friend's house...I set my phone down...pick it up an hour or so later and it's cracked. Does something rub up against it? Probably...maybe. Can't be sure. But there was zero stress put on the back or front of the phone. It was in my pocket, in the car and in this person's house. When I came back and explained my situation, the best they could do was instead of paying the $188 I paid originally, I paid $150. On the one hand, I get it. The warranty not covering physical damage makes sense. People are nuts, people are irresponsible, etc. But I got zero vibe, feeling, sense that my take mattered. I didn't ask for it but was thinking...if I'm the business owner, maybe I throw in a scree protector at not charge. A minimal...coupla bucks investment in a customer that says on some small way...we get it...you just paid $188 for a replacement and 10 days later...inexplicably you're paying another $150....so...as a basic gesture of goodwill...here's the bare fu***ing minimum we can do to display some level of service...and nope. Just a transaction. Gimme a GD reason to pay more to shop local next time. Your shortsightedness cost you not just a customer but probably 8-10 customers if basic marketing principles hold. Shop local - please...for everything you can. Your dollar, when spent locally serves the business and your community 10x vs what comes from shopping at a chain. However...if you need a mobile phone repaired...there is no benefit to shopping local. Why? Because they know they have you. They know you are captive to your phone. Really. They're right. We are. No argument. Go to the behemoth. Go to the chain if you need your phone fixed. These guys are no better. They know you will do whatever to get your phone back. They clearly use inferior quality product. And I feel for them on some level...they are competing against massive volume that prices them out for many folks. Well, this is the rare occasion where the local place lost me. I won't say "don't shop here", etc...cause maybe my experience is just a one-off. And...also...F them. They had a shot at being decent and failed.
