Reviews are changing because the experiences change, hence, my review updates. Our water heater broke on tuesday night. Hubby made a bunch of calls, but received inaccurate information from Rheem (spoke to three different CSR's- two were good, one was passing along the wrong information!). Apparently, the six year warranty only exists if you use the original installer- that was the final thing we learned, from the 3rd Rheem CSR. We purchased our home in 2021, but the water heater was purchased by the previous owner in 2020. Warranties on Rheem water heaters do not transfer over. So, this is a Consumer Buyer Beware warning, to you all. It is so important to know the Warranty on everything that you buy nowadays due to Inflation and Tarriffs (recently ruled "illegal" by a Federal Judge). Hubby and our Plumber unhooked the broken unit to turn it into the Flamingo/Fort Apache one, however, it turned out to be the wrong location, Pro Desk; instead got referred to the one across from Springs Preserve, which closed at 5 pm (across town, not in the same neighborhood, BTW). Hubby calls that one, the following day, thursday, they say, "We do not deal with Residential, only Commercial." It is a good thing he called before actually just heading over there, only to waste more time. And finally, hubby called Rheem a third time. This was extremely frustrating. The difference in customer service is good information versus bad information. This is the purpose of reviews to outline the good, the bad, & the ugly. And it gives companies a chance to improve. So, we had to purchase a new one, but the Flamingo/Fort Apache one didn't have the one that we needed, in stock. So hubby and our Plumber came to this location, The Arroyo Market Square location- Rainbow/ 215. And this one had it in stock. $1483 for a new Rheem water heater. Thursday morning we had hot water again. But, man, what a run-around this was, for hubby and our Plumber. Our licensed contractor handyman is the best! Literally always has the stuff I need for my home. Thankfully there's a ton of employees walking around that I can ask for help. They always know where to find the goods and provide detail of the aisle number which is impressive. Today's trip I needed these items: - 16x16 Concrete slab aka paver for my cat - Milwaukee Fold-Up Collapsible Folding Hand Truck 150-Lbs Capacity to fit in my car - $20 Pink Plumeria plant - 8in Bella Zen Zamia Bowl for kitchen decor - Aptenia plant full sun for my outdoor pot Lo and behold I was able to find everything I needed which was all outside in the garden area. Any packing stuff and boxes was outside with the Dollie's in the back. Giant selection of plants here with signs saying which do well in drought tolerant and full sun. Inside the store is massive with plenty of tools and lumbar and home appliances. You can get a fridge or washing machine here with the 0% credit card rate which is great for new homeowners. read more

I came in today to replace one of our fire alarms that had recently malfunctioned. I really regret not making it a point to get the name of the gentleman that helped me today. A quick Google search told me this would be a $20-$25 replacement. Luckily for me (not), the model I had had already been discontinued. The equivalent replacement was $69.99 plus tax. Awesome. The associate that was helping me told me I could save $10 by picking up a different model at another Home Depot. Well, after time, driving, and gas that would be a wash, so I wasn't too keen on that idea either. This is when he offered me a $10 discount on the more expensive model. I really, really appreciated that. What an outstanding display of customer service! This was very much appreciated. Again, I really regret not getting his name so I can give him the shoutout he deserves. I will continue to be a happy and loyal customer of this Home Depot. 5 stars. read more

I had a great experience at the Home Depot on 7015 Arroyo Crossing Pkwy. Jose did an excellent job making my keys--quick, accurate, and professional. Everything worked perfectly the first time, which I really appreciate. Cristian is always helpful every time I come in. He's knowledgeable, approachable, and goes out of his way to make sure I find what I need. It makes a big difference having people like him on the floor. This has been my favorite store for all my project needs. For the most part I can find what I need, but I still find that I have to order some items online. I changed out all my toilets with the Kohler Santa Rosa model with the piston flush technology about ten years ago. At the time this toilet cost about two hundred dollars and it was a good value for a one piece toilet. The piston flush technology has a heavier gravity fed pressure flush as compared to a standard toilet. The replacement parts for these toilets, I did have to order through Kohler because they definitely don't sell the parts at HD. They sell the toilets, but not the replacement parts. Very puzzling! I bought many Kohler quite close toilet seats here, but they kept snapping at the seat seam. I switched to the Haro brand toilet seats that they don't sell at HD. The Haro brand toilet seat has yet to crack in over five (+) years. I had to change out my Zurn water pressure regulator twice in a fifteen year span and I tried to purchase the item at HD in the store. Come to find out that they only carry the Watts brand in the store. I ordered this item on the HD website and it was delivered to the store. This purchase was my introduction to the pickup lockers located in the entrance of the store. You put in your code and get your order out of a locker, very simple. Half of the Vegas homes use the Zurn brand, so it seems like HD should carry both brands in the stores. About ten years ago Vegas had a cold freeze and my anti-siphon pressure vacuum breaker froze and it had started leaking. I went to HD and they did have the Watts brand replacement. That made the project that much easier. Recently, I decided to change out all of the screens on all of my windows. I chose the Suntech-80 screen material. This screen is a bit darker and slightly more expensive than the standard screen material. The screen seems to be a more durable material with the heavy sun we have here in Vegas in the summer months. I redid the sliding screen door in the stucco colored solar screen material. Expensive, but worth it! I got an LG washer and dryer with all of the fancy electronic components here at HD about four years ago. The washer is still going strong, but the dryer is horrible. It took about two years before I started getting a D80 code that was flashing every time I dried a load of laundry. This code meant that I had an 80% blockage somewhere in my dryer venting. I vacuumed out my lint trap area. I brushed out my entire vent stack and used a very heavy duty blower motor to blow out my vent stack. I still kept getting the D80 code. So annoying! I believe that the blower motor is inadequate in this dryer. I ended up having a smell of smoldering lint in the inside bottom portion of the dryer and that became the catalyst for me to get a new dryer. After a bit of researching on the HD website, I found that this commercial grade Maytag dryer checked most of the boxes. This dyer has a heavy duty blower motor, metal pulley wheels, an access panel in the front for servicing/cleaning purposes, and most importantly is the lack of digital displays/controls. Simplicity seems to be the way to go! However this dryer does cost around $1300. Hopefully I can get twenty years out of this dryer like Maytag is known for. read more

We bought an LG washing machine, replacing our old LG (10 year warranty). After a short few months it started to destroy our clothes. It first accord after washing our sheets. They looks like some sharp object would be in the drum and pull strands out of the fabric. We checked the drum, stroked over every inch with our hands, used cotton balls to see if anything stuck - nothing! I called customer service (we ordered our washer directly from LG). They told us to run the drum clean cycle 5 times in a row (that's 7.5 hours!) that should solve the problem. We did and the next load of laundry had the same problem. We called LG again, send them pictures as requested, were told they investigate and call back. They never did. Today was the 6th time I called and also send an email to the president. After telling them that I will write this review and post it everywhere I was asked by the supervisor if I use the right cycle to wash my laundry. I am 69 years old and know how to do laundry. Finally I was told he would pass it on to their service center which will contact me to find out if it is a manufactory defect. This goes on now for over 6 weeks. The service center contacted us via text and asked what are the defective parts - how am I supposed to know? The next message was they reach out if they have someone available. I would stay away from LG which is hard to say because we have LG everywhere from fridge to TVs but if something is wrong it is the worse customer service you ever experience. read more

Went there on a slow Sunday afternoon. All the workers were standing around and I had to wave my arms a few feet away from them to get their attention. It looked like they wanted to burn time as much as possible while idling. The shelving guy lied saying he was going to call for help. Just last night--right before closing, no less--Raul and Kaleb did exactly that. We're working on a project that requires some specialized items, and despite the challenge of accessing them, both Raul and Kaleb were more than happy to help. Ordered lumber for cutting services, stood over for 30 minutes to get our order in, got home at 6p and someone from the store left us a message that they couldn't fulfill the order and tried to recommend sending us to a different store. If you couldn't fulfill the order in the first place then we should've been told from the get go. Don't market some service you couldn't fulfill. Extremely disappointed. I recommend no stars but Yelp is forcing me to choose. Experience was abysmal. read more

I'm giving a 4 star review because the 1st Saturday of every month they offer a free workshop for kids. The kids gets a free kit and they build it together with an adult and also get to paint it. Home Depot supply everything you need. You just have to register online before the end of the month to get a spot for the month after. If you go when they first open the workshop, your child would get a Home Depot apron (limited so first come). Each project they build they get a pin that says what they've built and they can pin & collect them on their aprons. I'm hesitant to give a 5 review because when I normally shop here, it's hard to find what I need and hard to get any help. I'm searching and waiting long for someone to come help me in the department in looking for. If not for the kid's workshop, I'd prob give a 3 star review. Quick stop here to compare prices for outdoor heaters between Amazon and theirs. It happened Home Depot has a 50%sales on outdoor heaters. Not fancy color, just plain stainless steel, but for the use outside, I don't think the color matters. The girls at the Garden Center were amazing, friendly, helpful, and excellent customer service. I ended up buying it here. I will though buy a cover at Amazon to protect it longer. HD has a one year warranty, so let's hope it last a few longer with the cover. read more

Went to Home Depot today to look for some citronella plants to help deter bugs in my patio area. I must of picked a good day to come here as although they were busy, I was able to find parking quickly. I went straight o the plant department and noticed such a wide variety of plants large and small - I'm not a big plant person (I'm learning!) but I'd say Home Depot has a big selection. I suddenly felt overwhelmed, lol. I went to the first attendant I seen and approached her - i didn't get her name! I verbalized my want for some citronella plants or other herbal plants that help deter bugs naturally. She immediately pointed in a direction and walked me over to where she pointed - to my luck they had a sale on Citronella, basil, rosemary, etc. they were 4/$20! I picked out 2 citronella plants, 1 rosemary, and 1 sweet basil. Happy with my purchase and they help I received from Home Depot! Now... let's hope I can keep these plants alive! Lol read more

27 April 2025 - Went for advice in the electrical department to fix a toggle light switch that I was having problems with. Marvin in electrical department looked at my pictures and told me exactly what to do. He also picked out the correct 3-way switch for me. This saved me an electrician repair that I would not be able to afford. Side note.. I am a 63-year-old handicapped woman and I did this all by myself (with Marvin's instruction) Thank you HomeDepot and Marvin! I AM WOMAN HEAR ME ROAR !!! LOL. read more

In the past, I've had some terrible experiences at the store with unhelpful staff and a general lack of assistance. However, over the past year or so, I've seen a massive improvement. I don't know if there was some kind of management change but we regularly go to the store now and routinely the experience is definitely five star. On the past two visits, I've been offered help in the electrical department within seconds of starting to look for something, which was much appreciated and ended up saving me money. We had to stop in here as we're doing a major organization in our garage, the first rack we got was too small, we opened the item already but they were super easy about processing our exchange for a bigger rack. The parking here, if you're from the area is terrible, it's hard to get out of the parking lot, people drive like maniacs and literally do not care. But overall experience was pleasant. read more

I love the Home Depot location. When I lived in Vegas, I stayed a couple blocks from here off of Rainblow and Alda. Sits right in the shopping center of Albertsons, Wing Stop and many other places. We stopped in here not long ago, and I purchased just some small electronics since I am far from home and do not live out here anymore. But they have all the stuff you need. Writing this while it's still fresh in my mind. I walked into this home Depot around 715 am to get this ladder thing that I saw online. The website showed they had 3 and headed to the ladder section where I couldnt seem to find it. There was one hidden that looked a bit used and beat up which was my only option. I took it to the front to pay and the cashier told me it was 3x the price of what I thought. The two gals with him said it must be the wrong one and when I showed them the one I was looking for one cashier said "it might be in the christmas tree lot" and the other Cashier said "oh we don't have that one anymore. I guarantee we don't have it". I told him I would take a look anyway and headed through the garden center which was closed, then back around the front into the tree lot. There was a guy waiting who happened to be the one who helped with my tree the prior week. It was cold outside and I was just in gym clothes but had to wait for the manager to come out and open it. Instead, the employee Brad went inside through a back way and brought it around for me since we could see the three from the front entrance. He told me he had only been there a month and a half, and of the 4 times I had gone there, he had helped me twice and been the most helpful of the 4x at that location. As I was carrying the ladder inside to pay for it the manager walked by and I told him what a great employee he had compared to the worthless cashiers inside. I did go back to the same cashier and told him it was there and retail 101 dictates to never tell a customer you dont have something without at least checking or knowing 100% for sure and he definitely was pissed about it. Then he didn't want to let me use my store credit because the name didn't match, but address, phone number everything else does since my family has a commercial account. Luckily the supervisor told him to just do it, but it wasn't appreciated as I have never had an issue using store credit before. read more

I have visited this Home Depot on several occasions. All the staff are super helpful. They do honor Veterans all year round. Today's visit had a 5% military discount. Funny, I thought it was 10%. But thank you Home Depot for honoring and recognizing the sacrifices our military men and woman have paid and continue to pay. I will give a huge shout out to the store manager Amber. She went above and beyond assisting in returning a defective walk in tub that was sold exclusively through Home Depot. Great job everyone! read more

I am pretty much a regular at this Home Depot location, I feel like I am here once or twice a week! The store is usually busy, but since COVID they've done a great job at ensuring everyone keeps distanced from each other and they always took count of how many customers were in the store since they were only allowing small numbers at a time. I usually never have an issue finding an item I am looking for as it's always stocked up. All staff members here are knowledgeable and friendly, if I have any questions I can stop and ask any staff member and they are always helpful! Due to COVID, they started a curbside pickup process. I hope they never get rid of it because it is amazing. You order online for same day pickup, and usually within the hour the item is ready. You park outside in one of the reserved curbside pickup spots and select that you are outside from the email you received. It asks what parking spot you are parked in and then a staff member brings out your item to you! SO easy. I have done the pickup a few times and it really makes it hassle free so you don't have to go inside at all. Very safe and easy. read more

Beware of purchasing Home Depot installation services. I purchased new french doors in January 2024 at an enormous price and they refuse to give me the warranty I'm entitled to. I have sent repeated emails and phone calls and no one will assist me. While I love the doors and installation I received, they will not give me my warranty, which they guaranteed at the time of purchase. If I need to file a claim, I have nothing in writing to document my purchase and warranty. BUYER BEWARE!!! read more
