The shipment was 'delayed' then 'lost'. Order was canceled live in this store. A refund was supposed to be issued 5 to 10 business days. My daughter is still out of $1100 charged to her credit card and BB has failed to refund the charge, its middle of March 2023! At least one thing runs as a common thread within the weave of lost souls at Best Buy stores....they are staffed with customer care staff that doesn't care to do their job. I bet if you paid commission, they would be all over each other trying to fight for customers. I went in to buy two 85-inch TVs, multiple wall mounts, and even set up delivery and installation from Best Buy on Southern, near the Superstition Springs Mall. I thought the Camelback store was bad, but apparently, lack of staffing or the inability to support customers runs across city lines. None of the employees smiled, with two just standing around near Auto Audio while multiple customers stood by waiting for help. None of the employees looked like they wanted to be there, ala, Best Buy of the Damned & Unfortunate. I stood waiting near the TVs and then at the desk for 16 minutes and even waved down one cough...customer care staff member, but never got anyone to assist me. Not a single friggin person was in the TV section or the computer section. Sadly, two other people were waiting to buy TVs too, but they were not important enough either. They both left the store mumbling they would go next door to Walmart. I was still hopeful for someone to help, especially after being recognized by one employee, but nope. Instead, I was able to go online and buy one TV through Amazon and one through Target, while standing in line waiting and then checking out as I bought a Coke (you get thirsty in warm stores waiting for someone to help. Granted, this large company doesn't care that I took my $4,200 to two other stores today, but I was loud enough on the way out to tell them how stellar their service was. Sad, but this store (and the entire company) has gone downhill over the last couple of months, so guessing they can't keep employees or the management doesn't know how to staff and ensure store coverage. Amazon, do us a favor and put these employees out of their misery as it is overly clear that employees don't care about the people who buy their products. As for the one star, that is for Target, who had my TV ready and outside later in the day. At least one store knows how to serve their customers. I ordered a game online for my son and chose to pick it up at the Superstition store the next day. I got a text and email when it was ready and headed over. When we got there we saw that they were doing everything out side. We pulled up outside in there set up drive thru and I told them my name and the game that I had ordered. He disappeared inside and came out a couple minutes later with the game. He asked to see my ID then I got the game and we were good to go. Best buy hands down my favorite store and the only major retailer around except for Fry's Electronics. I have made plenty of big purchases and spent thousands over the years. That does not hold true recently and because of this they won't give me the same return policy because I did not spend a certain amount of dollars this past year. I'm extremely upset and frustrated with this place that they will indeed lose me and my close colleagues for life! We have all made hefty big screen tv purchases and even more expensive pro camera gear but never again! I recently bought two camera bags both with gift receipts within their holiday extended return period. (December 31st to be exact) I wanted to gift one to a friend and keep whichever one he liked least for myself. We ended up finding something else altogether that just worked much better so these two bags from best buy sat in a room with tags and receipts ready to be returned but I did not think I would have to rush and go out of my way to return it right away. Well I was wrong, because after 18 days they would not accept it. There return period first of all is a lousy 15 days and you can argue that other electronics retailers are the same way but no that is not true there is plenty of retailers that will take returns up to 30 days such as Amazon, B&H Photo, Adorama, ABT Electronics and the list goes on. On top of this guess what my items are not even electronics so maybe you should have a different return policy for non-electronic items don't you think. Anyways, point made their regular return period is not good, no excuses end of story. Luckily I was in the holiday return period right? WRONG their holiday return period is not an extended return period from the date of purchase(Like how it really should be) but instead if you bought something during their holiday period you can return it up to Jan 14th. Ok let's look at what is wrong with this. They claim that my purchase made on Dec 31st was in fact within their extended holiday return period but if I only have until Jan 14th to return it well guess what that is your same lousy 15 day return period again. You tricked me best buy that makes absolutely zero sense and you should apparently hire someone who can do simple math. I confirmed that this was indeed in your holiday return period yet no one told me that this will all end Jan 14th so in my head rightfully so I'm thinking ok this has extended return if I have to return it I'm good for a while. I'm done repeating myself I just wanted to make sure that got through. You know if your store managers would just hear me out (They pretended like they were but I don't think it was getting through to them) then there is absolutely ZERO reason why they would not be reasonable with me and just accept my refund. You know why because plain and simple I'm right and you are wrong and if you don't change mark my words your stores are going to start closing one-by-one. Saying that I'm beyond frustrated is still an understatement. Oh and I don't want store credit no I paid you with real money and I want that back which was their solution to this but absolutely not I do not accept. I'll be sure to make sure this is heard best buy I'm not letting it go I spent a long time talking to many of your people in charge in multiple stores. I got a refrigerator in January - had replaced all my other appliances in November from Best But. The ice maker failed in April or May.. Naturally the part was on backorder. The icemaker assembly and control panel were finally replaced in early July. 5 weeks later, it failed again. Whirlpool sent another technician out who said the icemaker assembly was bad AGAIN. Once the part came in, a senior tech came out who swore up and down she knew what the problem was. Said it's a design flaw and the water freezes where the fill tube connects to the assembly. She replaced it anyway, then extended the insulation on the tube. Seemed to fill, she left, I went to work. Got home 8 hours later, and no ice. 4 days later? No ice. I had to buy a countertop ice makers because my 8 MONTH old refrigerator is a piece of garbage. I'm going to have to take off a 5th day to deal with this, the added expense of the countertop ice maker, and the fact the countertop machine takes up space in my small kitchen. I am thoroughly disgusted and over this. This needs to be replaced with a different model. Oh and the left door gets stuck at the top - the tech said it needs to have food safe grease applied periodically. What the hell? I'm 50 years old and have NEVER had to grease a refrigerator door to get it to open and shut properly. Don't waste your money. read more

I went to the Superstition Springs Best Buy to get an external hard drive to back up my PC. I didn't know much about them so needed a salesperson to enlighten me. The associate who helped me, showed me what they had, explained the differences and helped me figure out what I really needed. She didn't try to oversell me, she asked my needs and got me into the 1T hard drive which is the closest to what meets my needs. It would have been cheaper to buy a 2T drive but I don't need a drive that is 10x what I will ever use. There are no real savings if I buy something I don't need or won't use. I will NEVER buy anything from best buy (Worst buy) ever again!!! I bought 2 very expensive Sony TVs a week ago. Sales person said "Hey, you can get 250$ if you sign up for credit card. " So of course I did! Called to see when I would receive 250$ and was passed to 6 different people after hour and half was told I signed up for wrong credit card and to go into store and they will make it right. Go into store and after 45 minute, manager is rude and says he cant do anything about it. The employee was actually trying to help me and manager says "what are you telling her?" He was a real tool not only to me but the employe as well! End result I walked out with only option of keeping TVs or told I could return and repurchase tv for 5% back (I have already installed on wall). Should have learned my lesson last time, but if you buy anything from Best Buy online, you will not get it when promised in most cases. I needed an external hard drive quickly. I had recently bought a 4 TB drive and it very quickly became full. Ordered a 14 TB drive from Best Buy only because they said I would get it the next day. I could have driven 10 miles to the closest store but figured I could risk one more day. Shipping was supposed to be one-day and I waited at home all day today to get the package. When I checked tracking, the Best Buy website said it was due today, but showed, in smaller print, "ready to be shipped." Hard to discern the "arriving today" with a status that it had not been shipped, so I had to assume, even in late afternoon, that the package was coming from a local store. The shipper was supposed to be OnTrac. Last item I got from them was all banged up, so not my favorite. Contacted Best Buy CS through chat twice (which goes to India) and both times, they said the package was due today. Checked OnTrac's website and the package was not even received by them and that it was coming from northern California !!! I haven't been able to do backups of my work and now it could be several more days??? If my hard drive crashes, as my last one did, I have problems. I should have just spent money for gas ($5.05/gallon right now - thanks Joe) and made the trip. There was a time you could rely on retailers because they actually thought about customer service. During my second contact with the CS rep on chat, the person told me unequivocally that my package would be delivered today as stated by Best Buy. I asked him how he knew that and he said that as a service provider for Best Buy, that he had access to information that I could not see. He guaranteed that my package would arrive. Fast forward to evening and no package. Just went on OnTrac's website again and refreshed the screen. Now it shows that Best Buy only printed the label today and that OnTrac just got the package late in the day and scanned it after 7pm. Now, they claim it will be delivered tomorrow, while I am not home. After finally receiving my hard drive, it was defective !!! Can you believe it? Now, it has to be reformatted and returned. Picking up my Iphone 11 pro, the sim card was not synced to the phone and it took about 1/2 hour for them to figure it out. Maybe that was Apple? I was ready to leave and asked if anything else was needed. I was told that just the Icloud backup would be reinstalled when I logged in-nothing more to do after that sync. When I got the sync done, I was having all sorts of problems when away from wifi. So I had to go to a Verizon store to have the problem fixed-the sim card wasn't activated. I was told by Verizon that Best Buy should have done this. So, best buy wasted an additional hour of my time. read more

So my wife bought me an Apple Watch there. She liked the salesman. Said he was great, but when we went back to put the screen protector on it. They charged 8 dollars to install (we had paid 12 for the protector). So we decided to pay, but then it had a dust spot under that would drive me nuts. So I asked if they could redo it. If you're going to charge for a service than do it right. The girl said she couldn't do any better and asked another girl to do it. She didn't want to do because she didn't feel comfortable. I really don't know who ended up doing it because they asked me to walk around. Which is another way of saying get away from us. They brought it back to me and it was worse than before but they used the excuse that there was water underneath and it would get better in a couple days. I told the guy I didn't think it would but he just repeated himself. Now if I had gone in and they said we can put on the screen protector for you at no charge but the way it comes out is the way it comes out. I would have been fine with that, but if you're going to charge for a service it better be done right. Almost feel like returning the Apple Watch and getting it somewhere else. read more

I just recieved the best delivery service. The 2 gentleman Juan and Ruddy made my insulation of my new refrigerator painless!!! I thought I had taken off enough trim to slide it right in. BUT NOT!!!! They talk to me and explain what pieces needed to be removed and did it. GIVE THEM A RAISE. Being that you can't find people like that. He took the time to go over a lot of my questions and concerns. He was great. So then I went to check out the iPad mini. I have the iPad 2 and wanted to see if the mini was worth it. The kid that was helping me wasn't overly helpful and that was ok. The thing that wasn't really ok was that after I was there for about 45 minutes I decided I was going to make the purchase...the kid THEN decides to tell me that they are out of stock! Really?! So I asked about other locations and it turns out nobody had them in stock. There was another customer there that just experienced the same thing so we decided to just get it from the Apple store. i usually like coming to this location. It was the closest one to me. I made a phone call here tonight and asked the guy on the other side how their Price Matching worked because I'm canvassing the store for a new digital camera. This is the convo: Best Buy guy: "we price match everything, just bring the ad in and we'll do it." Me: "Do you guys price match the Dell store?" BBG: "yeah we do that as long as we have the same product in stock." Me: "Cool. Thanks" I get there, I went to the camera section located in front of the entrance door. I showed the guy who was in charge of that department the ad i printed out and he said "we don't price match online stores because they have a different overhead..." To me doesn't make sense, but whatever. I didn't want to cause a fuss about it since I already had a frustrating conversation with another Best Buy associate at a different location (Signal Butte & Baseline). I would give this company a zero if I could. I bought a TV set for my business the cost less than $200. It is used show my customers my price list. The process for their warranty is so cumbersome that it takes me 4 weeks to get it back. Not only do I have to make an appointment to drop it off to have it sent out I have to make an appointment to pick it up what's its"fixed". I have been through this process three times now each time without a TV set for 4 weeks. Best Buy will never see me step foot in there store again. Came in to this best buy to get a couple things, when I needed assistance I looked around and saw one of the yellow shirted employees doing stocking or something of the sorts, said excuse me and was not only completely ignored But he also started speaking louder to the other employee that was helping him. That is when an employee named Joseph walked up and asked if we needed help I said of course but I was being ignored by your manager . Last weekend it broke down and I was supposed to have a tech today ( a week later) however they called me last night to let me know that all the parts had not been shipped to my house yet and without them they could not fix it. My main gripe about Best Buy is that all of their products are expensive. You can usually find what you need on Newegg or Amazon for half the price. Because of this, you'd think that Best Buy would offer "personalized customer service" to stand out in the industry. But, Best Buy's customer service is lacking. The main concern that I have about Best Buy is that they DON'T train their employees to approach customers. "Can I help you find anything?" They used to do this, I want to say 5 years ago, recently not so much... and by that I mean never! Ha..
