I came in for an upgrade, they had to update my plan of course, but they also added services to my plan like 100gb hotspot and phone protection without ever disclosing this to me. They add items to bill you didnt ask for, they over promise promotions. They hook you into additional contracts like credit cards with false promises and promotions, like "we will pay off a balance on your old phone with your old provider" but sign you up for a credit card they only transfer the balance to that you still pay for. They will automatically sign uou up for additional services like "insurance" whether you wanted to or not, then act surprised when ypu adk why your bill is hogher than they said you were locked in on. read more

to start off, if i could give 100 stars, i would! i had a more than amazing experience here, phenomenal even. i came here in hopes of getting a new phone, and was met with CJ, an employee at this verizon who was outstanding in his performance in helping me get a new phone and was also super helpful discussing the stuff i was having a hard time understanding. CJ was not only caring, but compassionate as well! he's also super outgoing. CJ was able to hold a phone that i really wanted for me at another store that i was able to pick up and bring back so he could help me set it up and get everything transferred from my old phone to my new one. CJ was so understanding and helpful in everything that happened throughout my visit there. I was recommended this verizon by a friend, and would definitely recommend this verizon to anyone. If i could leave 0 stars I would! Customer service is so rude and very unprofessional. We just got the service last week and one of the lines never connected and I've had calls up to 3 hours long with verizon with no solution, it is so frusturating. And when I went to the store the employee was very rude, making snarky comments about how he didn't want to stay there all night because it was 5:40 pm but they are open till 7. He had a very bad attitude and was ripping things out of my hand and throwing things. But with other customers he was very nice and asking what he can do for them. Very disappointing and felt very discriminated and upset. They still have no solution and it's been 1 week and one of my phones has no service! I am writing this email to discuss my recent visit I had at a Verizon store in Gilbert, Az "1065 e baseline rd" with the representative Gabriel Davis. I go into the store today 09/25 around 545 pm. There are 3 customers being helped by one representative it took him two minutes to even say anything to me and asked what I needed. I advised him I'm here to pick up my phone I preordered he then makes a face looks at me and says I don't have anything for you. Didn't even ask what my name was or ask for my ID. I then say I spoke to Zack he told me my phone was here and ready for pick up. He gets up and says Zack didn't tell him anything and then ask for my name and says nope I don't have anything with that name and proceeds to tell me someone else's name and I say no that's not me. He starts to call Zack and Zack is not answering him. This man was very Frustrated and still had not asked for my ID and kept saying he doesn't have anything. He goes to the back and brings out a phone with a paper wrapped around it and said this is all I have right here still confused about why I was in the store. I told him I placed the order over the phone with a representative and they shipped it to this store. He kept saying they don't do that, someone at the store will need to replace the order. Mind you this man still did not ask me for any information and kept cutting me off and saying I've been doing this for 8 years and this is not how it's done. Zack is not answering and it's pissing me off. I said to him this is all the information I have and was told to come in store once my order was ready for pick up and I would pay $65.00. He said well this paper says this was a store purchase and you need to pay the $135.00 fee which you said you weren't going to pay & only pay $65.00. I then stated I never said I wasn't going to pay the $135.00 I was told it would be $65.00. He then got up and said again I've been doing this for 8 years. Then got frustrated even more and said I'm not going to do someone else's sell. You will need to come back in when Zack is here to finish what you guys discussed. I then advised him we never discussed this "sell" I did it over the phone and clearly there is miscommunication somewhere but this was not my fault. He then said clearly there is and I said well I don't work here you do. Again this man still did not pull up any of my information or care to figure out what was going on. I said I will pay what needs to be paid I don't have an issue with that. He said again I've been doing this 8 years I then responded and said well if you've been doing this 8 years you should have better customer service. He then grabbed the phone and said how about I cancel this order and you figure this out another day. I then said how about you not do that and I'm not coming back I want this figured out today. He then ignored me continued to help his other customers. I then stated I want your managers number. He stated You can not have any of that and handed me a plastic cover with this information on it and walked away. I was still standing there for about 10 minutes and he comes back and decides to open the paper and look into it. He states again this has never happened and I don't know why they shipped the phone here & begins to start the process I paid what needed to be paid. He did not offer a screen protector or phone case. All he did was activate the transfer and basically said his job was done. read more

NOT ON A BET...STAY AWAY... A year ago, my wife and I decided to take advantage of the buy one get one Spectrum phones. I've always used Verizon stores, but my wife LIKED and I emphasize past tense here, Go Wireless an authorized verizon reseller. They should have their authorization revoked. Here's what they did, In order to get the second phone, we had to sign up for another line. They suggested that we get a home phone unit. Would cost us $120 and I made clear to my sales rep that we would only need it for faxing. I was told no problem. The also set up another line, and here's where you should always read that long receipt because, what you're told and what it says are sometimes VERY different. They set us up with a line that went to no phone. None. Just an extra line charge every month and then the line was for some test signals. Found this out from Verizon after 2 hours on the phone. Verizon stepped up, did the right thing and cancelled the line. Even gave us credit for some of the money paid. The Customer Service manager on duty was "puzzled." Fast forward to 1 year later. The home phone wireless hardware we bought was FINALLY hooked up a fax machine and....DOESN'T WORK!!! I called Verizon and they told me that hardware works for everything but a fax. So, I went into the GO WIRELESS store on Baseline and explained my situation. After all they were the ones who sold me the hardware. I was told that, no it wouldn't work with a fax. I already knew this by now. Then the RUDE manager Jose Rodriquez, told me he didn't belive I was told that it would work with a fax. Here's the thing...besides calling me a liar and in a very rude way, he didn't use his brain...clearly devoid of customer service skills and at least in this instance claims no responsibility for his crews actions...obviously if I only wanted a line for a fax, I wouldn't have purchased $120 hardware for it. Non-sensical. To make matters worse, I asked for the district manager's number so I could call. He said he would have him call me...you can understand how I didn't trust him. Told him I'd find out simply by asking another store. Haven't done that yet, but I will. Somebody needs remedial customer service training. So, I will NEVER buy another item there. No way, Jose (Rodriquez), and oh yeah, we're buying 2 pads and 2 blue tooth ear pieces this week...FROM VERIZON directly. As for me and my house we choose to AVOID GO WIRELESS authorized Verizon reseller. read more

This is a very misleading Verizon store. It looks like a Verizon but doesn't conduct business like Verizon. First, I was told that I needed to spend $80 on a screen protector so I get a lifetime warranty. I don't need a lifetime warranty. I get a new phone every year from a plan I am grandfathered into. The first cover lasted 6 months. I just need the second cover to last the same amount of time. They then sold me a glass screen cover for $40. I wanted to take it home to install it myself but the salesperson insisted on installing it. When he did so I started to take the case apart. He stopped me and said he does this all day long. He can install the cover without removing the case. When I got home I noticed the cover was longer than the case so the top part was 2 mm from touching the screen. When I returned, they asked me about the lifetime warranty. This had nothing to do with warranty. It was installer error from the store salesman. I had just bought the cover. Then they explained since is was freshly purchased and I was going to install it myself, they would give me one. Second, I am grandfathered into a plan that gives me 25% off accessories. I didn't get that either. When I returned for the second time, I noticed the store was a "Go Wireless" and not a true Verizon store where my first cover came from. This cover they sold looked like my first cover that came from a real Verizon store but didn't hold up like the first cover as far as using enough glue to hold the cover on. 3 days later, the second cover that was partially secured by the phone case also popped off. When it popped off, I felt the part that attaches to the phone and there was hardly any glue to secure it to a phone. I don't have time to waste going to a true Verizon so for $15, I was able to order 3 covers from eBay. One claims it covers the entire screen. If so, regardless of how little glue is placed on this cover that was $3.99, my phone case will keep it secure. If that doesn't work, I still have 2 more covers to last me for my final 6 months. For those that read this, my suggestion is to make sure you are walking into a true Verizon store and look closely for "Go Wireless" so you are not a victim to their cheap overpriced products that are probably purchased on eBay in bulk for $1,99 a cover. read more

Don't waste your time! These people have no idea what they are doing. It took 30 minutes to transfer a number to another phone and we left. We later realized our phones wouldn't work! They transferred the wrong number to the new phone, making one of our cells disconnected and the new one have the wrong number. We had to go all the way back, take another 30 minutes+, to have them fix the issue. They had to call into Verizon, I should have just gone there to start. The only excuse was "it's human error, and it happens". It does, but if they TESTED it before we left, they could have fixed it then. Inexcusable, will never be back. read more

Went in Saturday afternoon 4/3/21 to cancel my fathers phone service who passed away. I had been to the store a short while ago to ask what the procedure was in this situation. They told me they need a copy of the death certificate and we could cancel the service. On this day, today, I entered the store and the two employees had customers. The one employee, I didn't get his name, but he had a Mohawk, rudely said, shouting over his clients, do you have a quick question? I said no I need to cancel a phone. He said we can't help you with that in the store. I said to him I was told that I could, and have the paper work needed (death certificate). Not wanting to broadcast the situation to a store full of people,, I told him to go ahead and finish up with his customer and I would wait to talk to him. He proceed to argue with me and basically wanted no part in helping me. He said I have to call customer service to get help. I went to another store in Phoenix, and the very nice person greated me at the door and took care of what I needed no problem, in the store. Bottom line is, this young man needs a lesson in customer service. Not only was he rude to me, but totally ignored the customers he had in front of him to argue with me. I personally have been a Verizon customer for 18 years and will never step foot in that store again, and it's only blocks from my home. read more

My mom and I visited this location about 2 weeks in order to figure out the best option to upgrade our data plan as well as to upgrade my dads old flip phone to a new flip phone. We were greeted and helped by an associate who was training, unfortunately we didn't catch his name and his long hair was covering his name tag. He was extremely helpful in explaining the options and asked the management staff for clarification if he wasn't 100% about something. We we're probably in the store for around an hour which was fine for what we were trying to get done. In the end we got a new phone for my dad and upgrade to an unlimited data plan. My mom was concerned about what the next billing cycle would reflect and this associate broke down the charges and gave her a pretty clear amount that she could expect. This experience will likely make this our go to Verizon store. read more

My mother and I were there today to activate her iPhone from her previous Samsung and Matt was amazing as well as the African-American gentleman. I would recommend anybody to go there if you want excellent customer service and a smiling face. They are the nicest group of people I have met in customer service in a long time-very informative, definitely knew how to help, couldn't say enough good things about that store in about them. He patiently spent the time figuring out how to access my account (without me knowing my pins or passwords to anything) with the help of another friendly associate. Very disappointed! Spent over an hour with the sales girl, paid a deposit for the Fantasia phone, told her we would be back Wednesday to pick them up. So on Wednesday after waiting another 30 or more minutes in the store to talk to our sales girl, she told us no phones were available! A good salesperson would have called us and let us know before we made the trip in or told us when she saw us sitting there that the phones were not available! Too bad for her! There is nothing quite like the panic one feels when faced with the threat of losing one's phone. All my pictures, phone numbers, apps etc. When I turned my phone on the other day, it turned off immediately and despite all my efforts, could not be revived. I rushed to the Verizon store, which thankfully opened earlier than I'd anticipated. Was immediately greeted by a super nice man who opened my phone and cleaned off an embarrassing layer of dust, all the while being more than patient with an unruly kid who was running all over like a maniac.. (Alright fine. It was MY kid.) Overall, an intensely stressful situation, and Verizon kissed my booboo and made everything better. Whew. read more

You're better off calling Verizon Wireless and getting help over the phone. From the moment I walked in their customer service was far below average. I was not greeted and both employees were helping out other customers. I was never told how long the wait was going to be or anything. I had my phone stolen and waited over an hour for them to just tell me I need to call a different insurance number or do it online because they can't help me. If I would have just gotten greeted in the beginning with a, "What can we do for you today?" Then it would have been a good experience. read more
