The only reason for my low rating is an interaction I had with an employee. I don't know his name but he has long hair and because my first time interacting with him. I brought a little bit of used oil to give them because they are technically considered a oil recycling center. He brought me back the jug of oil with about a quarter of it still in the container. I didn't want to say anything, but it's just an unnecessary hassle for me too go somewhere else because he doesn't want to spend the extra 10 second making sure it's empty. Stopped in for items I need for an upcoming oil change. The moment I walked in, the Manager, seeing another employee was helping customers, asked how he could help me. He got info on my car so he could find an oil filter, and gave me several choices from computer screen. Recommended one of the less-expensive ones, saying it's one he recommends a lot. Got my oil and motor flush, he had my filter. In and out in less than 10min. Now THAT'S SERVICE! Didn't get his name, morning shift on 2/25. Great job. Very poor service. I bought a windshield wiper which the store has a sign stating that they will install ; however the sales person refused to leave the store & told me to wait 30-60 minutes before they could help me. So I left & returned 2 hours later but the sales person was unable to do the job. As a consequence, I will have to make a 3rd trip, this time l will have to Travel to my dealership about 10 miles away & probably be charged an additional service fee. Right away he gave me attitude, he proceeded to flip his scream to show me the pads he have in stock, I asked him what was the difference and he simple reply ( cheap and expensive) I said that I saw that but I wanted to know what difference other than the price, he said "do you see is the material made out of". I simple said never mind and I walked out. From previously experience I decided to return to this location and give them my business but I guess they don't care about earning more businesses. I went to this location because the one closer to me was out of what I wanted to buy. The webpage showed they had my item in stock but when I got there... nope... they didn't have it. The trash cans in front of the store were overflowing with trash which I find odd as you can empty the trash you know... especially when they trash is overflowing and it's at your front door. I am so pissed off right now...honestly, I didn't expect to run into racism at a freakin O'Reillys but I did just about 40 minutes ago. I walked in and was greated by an older white man (bald) and he asked what I was looking for. I told him I was looking for white wall tire cleaner and he asked for what kind of car. I told him it was for my '62 Impala and he says "Let me go get someone of the right ethnicity to help you." ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME??? I said "excuse me?" as he proceeded to get another employee that was Latino. He told the other employee "I'm not trying to be racist but you latino guys know all about that stuff, maybe you can help him out." Even the employee was embarrassed. He had the "what the f*ck look and understandably so because that was so uncalled for. He literally insulted myself and his fellow employee with some totally racially motivated comments. After finding what I needed the Latino employee (who was extremely professional by the way) rang me up. I told him I thought that old white man was super racist for saying that, but in Spanish and he agreed. How freaking awful is that? I mean seriously, the ease of which it that just rolled off that man's tounge. You best believe I'm calling to the manager and 100% writing to their corporate office. The Latino guy should honestly be getting a raise for having to deal with that racist crap from his employee. I'm beyond upset right now. Just encountered the most rudest person working at the shop. His name is Luis. This is the second time we got a bad service. He was verbally abusive. Telling us to go to Tijuana to speak to his manager. Told us to get the f out of the Line. I'm not sure why he still works at the shop with that attitude. He gave us the run around & just started telling us to get the f out when all we did was spoke politely for the parts they said they have. This location is not trust worthy. Call ahead of time before I started my brake job to make sure they have people to do it. We need the car and can not leave the rotor over night. I ask them if they can turn my brake rotor, they be yes bring them in we have people to do them. I took them of my car, drive down there and they tell me "we do not turn rotor today". I have been here a couple of times over the years. Its your usual auto parts store. One time Francisco helped me get the replacement headlamp for my Prius and showed me how to replace it. Another time Daniel rang me up for 5 quarts of motor oil. It seems a bit hit or miss. Some days you get in and get out. Other days you wait for 20 minutes to be rung up for one item. I wish it was more consistent some times. read more

I ordered 2 rotors and they said it would arrive in 1 hour. 3 hours later, I arrive to pick it up and they told me the delivery was delayed. 30 min later they give me 1 new rotor and 1 used rotor that didn't even match. It was refinished and machined to oval lugnut holes that didn't even come close to lining up. I called to complain as I waited all day for these parts and Gustavo, Geo, and Alfonso all told me "tough shit we can't do anything about it, you'll have to wait 2 business days." Are you kidding me? I asked if I could pick them up at a location nearby and they said no one had them. I called the foothill ranch location and they HAD THEM IN STOCK. When I arrived to the foothill ranch location for a return, they couldn't find the original transaction from earlier. SHADY ASS DIRTY EMPLOYEES HERE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THE ASSHOLES. Only complaint is the representative who helped me said the headlight would be too hard for him to put in. I looked up a video online and it was easy to do later that night.
